This hotel is awesome! Every single time I stay in fort Lauderdale it will definitely be here. Tommy Madonna is one of the greatest hotel employees I've ever met he made our stay undescribably fun. Great pool and hot tub.

This review concerns the Sheraton at Cypress Creek in Ft. Lauderdale. This property is adequate for a short term stay. However, you cannot avoid the huge problem of broken and slow elevators. Not acceptable IMHO.

Youssef and Katia were both very nice and attentive to each one of us! Even thought there’s construction you don’t hear it or notice it other than the plastic all around the second floor… we absolutely loved the island it was so relaxing hearing the waterfall at breakfast! Pool was clean and towels were always available! Stayed for 5 nights and would definitely stay again!!!!

I like the hotel I’ve been there a few times outside one of the doors. Some bricks are loose. I almost broke my head too bad I didn’t they could’ve sued and gotten a lot of money breakfast there was $25 now they charge five dollars a night parking that’s ludicrous I’m a guest there, where do they want me to park at the local diner? Never had to pay for parking before never another money grab I might not come back to this hotel.

The hotel itself is starting to look very worn out. The rooms are very large and clean, which is great, but they definitely need some updating. Carpets in some places were torn or had chunks missing, A/C units, although functioning, were noisy in some rooms, doors that couldn't be closed due to being mis-aligned, missing/broken handles on bathroom/shower doors. The beds were very comfortable and there are newer TV's (2 per suite) which is a plus. There is also a fridge in each unit. Couches were worn. The central atrium where the bar/restaurant is located is a nice spot to meet up with people and have a drink. The outdoor pool is great when it's heated properly. We had to ask for the heater to be turned on, which they did, and next morning the pool was a perfect temperature (but the whirlpool was still cold, almost air temperature). It's not very quiet at this location - the Ft. Lauderdale executive airport is close by and flights were constantly arriving/departing. Road noise is quite noticeable at times also. The location is quite convenient to the Tri-Rail station and there are a few decent restaurants within walking distance but not a lot. The Moonlite Diner was very good. The staff were great, even though they seem to be struggling with staff shortages, and they accommodated our late checkout without any issues and provided towels for the pool at no charge.

Breakfast food was cold. Fruit had fruit flies. Had to ask for refills on our drinks. Sliding door for shower wouldn't stay closed. Toilet paper holder was broken. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. DUSTY in the room and in the hallways.

I booked a room with a queen sized bed with balcony but that was given away when we arrived even though I had paid for it. Our room was so dirty! The white linens were stained . If we wanted our home cleaned (we had a 4 night stay) we had to ask.. even for clean towels. The staff did very little cleaning and hid out in a room by the laundry. We saw the manager calling them out on several occasions. The door to the balcony was so gross we decided not to open it. Luckily I had Lysol wipes and cleaned the surfaces myself. Breakfast was stale pastries.. they looked delicious so we were very disappointed. Would not stay there again.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke and was gross, carpet was not clean and had stains all over it, overall the hotel was old, not clean and not well maintained. I would find a different place to stay for the price.

The room temp was 76 when we arrived during the day And when we got in at 9:30 it only dropped 1 degree to 75...I set it on 73 but apparently its not going get there any Time sokn

Hot. Air did not work in any of our rooms. We were on the top floor. They offered for us to move rooms at 11:30pm at night but we refused because our kids were already asleep. We asked for a box fan or cooling fan, they refused.

The rooms were huge and clean. Excellent area at the front of the room for sitting and very large bedroom space. Comfy beds (whilst not Sheraton Sweet Sleeper class). Excellent tv choice and cool AC. Bathroom big and full of amenities. Powerful shower. Breakfast good quality and glad it was included. Typical American breakfast standard. Be careful if they ask you if you want any alternate eggs as this is chargeable (only scrambled included in the buffet). Staff friendly and helpful if there is an issue. Pool looked very nice but did not use. Close to a few restaurants and to the Chase Stadium. Also very close to I-95 meaning an ideal Miami hotel for much cheaper than Miami prices. Would stay again.

Loved the lobby - we had a few broken things in our room (bathroom door didn’t lock, coffee maker was broken but they did replace it with a new one, drain in our bathroom was broken). We also had a room right outside the elevator on a weekend there was a wedding so it was loud! The staff was super polite and helpful. For a family of 5, we had two queens and a pull out sofa. The sofa was so uncomfortable but the other two beds were great.

The size of the suite was wonderful, this was a working/ pleasure trip and we were able to conduct both ease. Our only complaint was the noise from room above ours and the noise from the ongoing road construction in front of the hotel

The hotel was great. The pool is heated (little dirty with leaves) hot tub is hot 104. The rooms are huge and spacious. Shower is the best so far best water pressure. Small bathroom though, but workable. The restaurant in the hotel was good. I had the spaghetti bolognese not from a can. Only bad thing was we called with a broken coffee maker and they never showed up with a new one. Then we asked for towels and that never happened.

This property is beautiful upon walking through the lobby. We used the hotel for a 2 day stay before and after our cruise. On our stay 1 of the 4 elevators was down for repairs and the entire 2nd floor was being renovated. There was no construction noise. However it is in the flight path of the executive airport and planes were taking off and landing which made our pool experience rather loud. The building is also close to a train crossing and that was surprising in the middle of the night. The hotel is older and our first room had a charging station but the second didn’t. The size of the suite was nice with 2 double beds and a couch hideabed. I thought the price we paid was fair the first stay but very expensive even through Expedia. By uber pompano beach and the cruise port and the airport was 20 - 30 minutes. I would not come back here.

I stayed for the interMiami game. Easy 20 min walk, very safe to the venue. The beds were ok, the shower never got very hot, the ac was 78 when I woke up my first morning and they fixed it quickly. Looks like it used to be a great place to stay now it’s just a place to stay. The one meal I did order from the food spot was great. Beers were over $10 before tip

Hotel was great! The front desk clerk Michael was wonderful. The lady that worked the bar, i did not get her name, but she was wonderful. Our stay was absolutely great. Will definitely stay here again when traveling back down. We had a group of 18. We had a total of 6 rooms. Hotel made sure we were settled and comfortable. Check in was easy and pleasant. Pool was very nice also. Kids enjoyed it. Location was great. Many restaurants in walking distance. Very clean and safe feeling.

Told several different front desk attendants that that hand towel dispenser in pool area was out of order on week 1, still out of order on week 3. Asked front desk to replace strobing LED light bulb in kitchen area. Never showed up. I had to swap it out myself with one in a floor lamp. Restroom sign on pillar in POOL/ HOT TUB area unreadable because sun faded it. Hmmm, unreadable restroom sign in pool area, what could go wrong with that ? Bedroom door would be not shut because installed improperly. Shower door would not close all the way and it was not watertight on the bottom. This caused water to leak on bathroom floor. Bath door trim panel fell off because to little glue was used during installation. Floor was only cleaned once in 3 weeks. A few time housing forgot to leave coffee. Food and drink prices extremely high. Bar tab receipts included gratuity but then also included an area to add tip again in CC receipt. Elevators unreliable. One day All ice machines quit working. Did have a beautiful atrium.

We had several service related challenges (checked into a dirty room, our credit card was authorized several times in excess of the total amount and remained there for 10 days, among others) and when the Guest Experience Manager called to discuss, he repeatedly apologized but would not offer any type of resolution. By far the most disappointing experience at a hotel in all my travels. I will be contacting Marriott to report the below standard issues we faced.

Everything was great until one day, when you did clean our room, no towels were left in the room, even after 4 hours. I went to the front desk to ask that towels were delivered and after 2 hours, nothing. I had to go back to the front desk and the employee (who was rude) finally gave me the towels in my hands. This is not up to the standard of a Sheraton Hotel to be treated like this. It was the second year in a row to your Hotel and we are thinking of maybe trying another Hotel.

Enjoyed iur stay at Sheraton Cypress Creek. Ray at the front desk was really helpful in our decision on staying. Mike was very efficient and knowledgeable with our chick in. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. The facility was very clean despite the fact they have construction going on, in which wouldn't even be able to tell besides the fact that Ray and Mike did inform us and you can clearly see once on site. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

The staff at this hotel are amongst the best that I have ever met. They were courteous, willing to assist, friendly, sweet, helpful, I mean they all were just amazing. This is not the fanciest of hotels as we needed to get away from Hurricane Milton, but those fancy hotels, which we've stayed at, need to take a page out of Sheraton's book on hiring staff. I just can not say enough good things.

Not as clean as could be. Bed was too soft. TV was a strange system. Food service limited to only times open or closed. Nothing in area to walk to. Quite far from airport and cruise terminal. Far from heart of Fort Lauderdale and beach. Really need a car.

Outside of happy hour, the drinks at the bar were of horrific value. The breakfast was also overpriced with poor service. My family of three ate at different times because our food didn't come out together. There's no vent in the bathroom so the ceiling was peeling.

My husband and I tried their restaurant four times, 2 time breakfast and 2 time dinner. Particularly the dinners were so salty. Last night our cream of mushroom soup was salty to point that we could not eat. Besides it was not ready when bringing to us because it was liquid shape. When we explained to the waitress, she brought back the soup to the kitchen. Later she brought back two new cream of mushroom soups and this time the soup was thickened, but still very salty. My husband left the soup without eating it at all.

their establishment is beautiful with greenery everywhere and their restaurant is beautiful and serve delicious food. I loved that the bar has happy hour each day on drinks and small plates from 2 to 6pm. The pool area is very nice but can use new lounge cushions. the staff are all very nice. Had a great time.
