Pros: The location is amazing, 2 blocks from the beach and some nice coffee shops and restaurants. The room was clean and attentive staff. Cons: The rooms need some serious maintenance. There is next to no seal and a healthy gap around the doorsill so you hear every single thing and people talking in the hallway as if the door is wide open. The AC unit is also extremely loud and wakes you up when it cycles during the night, so I eventually turned it off. I just wish there was a bit more invested into comfort of the rooms for what was otherwise a very decent budget stay in a quaint neighborhood by the beach.

A nice hotel just two blocks from the beach. Easy walking to a variety of restaurants. Parking was $10 for the night. Relatively close to Port Everglades.

Great hotel with charm and character. We loved our stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We liked the clean pool and 2 patios which were great for sitting and enjoying the trees. Excellent location. Our room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was not an issue. Will definitely stay here again

Stayed 4 nights

The pictures were nothing like what we got. The floors were filthy, we had to walk around in our shoes because our feet were black. The kitchen had no pans to cook anything in the oven, the silverware was all used and dirty. There was black dirt all around the tub. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and not one staff member came to check on us, we finally had to take the alarm off the wall to get it to turn off.

The one staff member we met at check-in was friendly and held our luggage for us til a room was available. The beach was within walking distance which was really nice. The hotel is pretty run down. We got a room on the first floor near the stairs and we could hear everyone around us, from the room next door, to the people going up and down the stairs or walking nearby. Our door had a big gap and doesnt shut all the way to where we can see light from out side through the door gap and we were able to hear people talking late into the night very loudly outside our door. It didn't feel very safe. The air conditioner was extremely loud everytime it started up and remained noisy as it was running. The shower knobs were practically falling off and the shower head had very little water pressure along with hot and cold water temperatures that could not be controlled. The towel was very small. Only plus with the bathroom was that it came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. TV had youtube to watch, but the internet went in and out. I wasn't able to sleep at all, but luckily it was only for a few hours since we were out of there by 3 am for a flight. The location is great, but the hotel needs a lot of work.
