Great small property with two pools at a free breakfast buffet. Quiet area, seven blocks from Duval Street and two blocks from the marina.

The pool area with the garden was very beautiful and tranquil. It was just lovely.

Westwind was great. We arrived late and arrangements were made to get us into our rooms quickly. The room was quant and had a broken tile in the BR but had nice higher end products. 2pools. One heated, one not. Adequate continental breakfast. Lots of outdoor seating. Water station, pool towels and suncreen. Definitely would come back. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Duval and Wharf areas

Walking distance to ask if the attractions. Great pools and service. Highly recommend!

Such a cool place. A hidden tropical getaway. The scenery was beautiful and the resort was quiet. There isn't any parking on-site, so you will have to walk about two blocks if you want the cheaper $15 a day parking lot. It wasn't a big deal for us since we planned to walk Key West anyway. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything as expected from previous stay. Excellent maid service-always early in the day. Continental breakfast was good. Main pool is always a little dirty due to the trees and lizard. Back pool is cleaner and heated. Front desk staff excellent. Location excellent.

Both pools were shut down but the health department as neither of them were being treated with chlorine and were deemed unsanitary. We were not notified about this by the property, rather, while we were in the pool an inspector from the department of health was testing the water and we had to ask.

Great location, love the set up of the hotel with the two separate pools, love the one pool with the water fountains, and all the greenery around, and there were shade in the pool, which was perfect! The bike rental place was right next-door and you got 10% off perfect. Tables and chairs to sit at, very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Stay was pleasant. The breakfast is good but with an excellent host. The accommodation was comfortable. The inn needs to be monitored for cleanliness. The pool needed a good scrubbing & deck clean up. The main garbage out front had never been emptied and front porch needed a good scrubbing as well. The young man with long hair on the desk was very sweet and approachable. He made our stay more enjoyable.

We asked to move rooms after finding the door to the fridge rusted through, rust on the lamps, caked dirt in the wicker furniture and mold and cracked tiles in the bathroom. They said they couldn't move us, but that the manager would contact us in the morning. They didn't. It was very cold that week and the room didn't have heat or weatherstripping around the door, so it was in the low 60s in our room. We had to run the very small dehumidifier for heat. There were old doors and patio furniture laying out on the ground outside our room. The staff was nice, and most of the grounds were as well. I liked the heated pool, but the room itself was not safe because of the rust and mold. Will not be staying here again.

We really liked the location. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to Duval Street. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the pool areas were really nice. We would stay here again.

Great place, great area, nice stuff and excellent service! We stayed for 3 nights and we really liked this place and its ambience, especially the pool, the small tropical garden and the iguanas that walked there. I also want to note the staff who work there from the lady at the reception to the women who clean rooms /serve breakfasts - all very nice and friendly. Since I am the owner of a small cleaning business, I am very meticulous about cleanliness, I can note that in general it was very clean, but I have one small note - due to the constant humidity in the shower room, a small amount of mold is noticeable - I recommend using Clorox in green packaging with chlorine content, it copes with it perfectly. But overall this place is worth 9.5 out of 10, I'm very pleased, I recommend it to visit and I'm sure I'll come again )

Nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit outdated and there were visible mildew stains and odor. NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. The pool area and other common areas were very nice. Please put a garbage receptacle in the pool area. Overall, I will stay again if the price is right.

The room and property was clean and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and responded quickly to any requests. The continental breakfast included was nice at the tables by the pool. We would stay there again.

Stayed here two years ago. Although a little tired really enjoyed our stay. Pool area was an amazing and tranquil. This time, it appears no maintenance has taken place. The amazing pool now looks stained and dirty. They now have breakfast on site, it was better when they gave vouchers for the bakery down the way. Rooms very very tired. Broken floor tiles, broken blinds. Smells of damp. Had a dehumidifier in the room!! Will not be returning. What a shame. A potentially amazing place.

Beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet yet still in walking distance to all the action.

Clean, Good location, Helpful Staff, I walked everywhere, Bed was horrible! Sagging Mattress, at best needs to be flipped and turned at worst replaced. Had to find and sleep on the high side to keep from feeling I was going to roll off. Also, I don`t recall any mention prior to booking of $48 per day to park off site. If it is mentioned shame on me. Not really the property`s fault I`m sure none of the other smaller hotels have on site parking either. Otherwise, no complaints aside from the bed it was a nice place to stay.

A very spacious and comfortable suite with a small living room equipped with a sofa, a coffee machine and a microwave. The bed is just right, not too soft nor too hard. Sufficient towels and full sets of shampoos, conditioners and shower gels. Comfortable like home. A lovely swimming pool surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. We didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast because we got up at 10am when the breakfast serving ended. Guess it would be good experience having breakfast by the swimming pool under the tropical trees. The parking in Key West is a headache. There is a parking lot within minutes walk and it costs over $50 a night. Better check with the hotel in advance to see if there’s any discount coupon left for the overnight parking at $42. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a very good choice in Key West! Highly recommended.

Grounds were beautiful. The junior suite wasn’t really a suite. It was a small room with a very nice king bed. There was kitchenette next to the bed? There were no chairs in the room or anywhere to sit or eat except the bed. The bathroom was really beat. The only way to get fresh air in the unit was to keep the front door open. Would not return.

The place was cute and fixed up with a nice pool and breakfast area. They also had an ice and water machine. Our mattress caved in in the middle so we didn’t sleep well.

We had two rooms for this stay - one for my son and DIL, and one for my husband and I. Room 303 as beautiful and cute all at the same time. Pros - Well appointed with a dehumidifier, A/C worked great and was quiet, awesome Keurig, comfy side chair, small refrigerator, updated bathroom (would love that tile in my own home!!), great soaps/shampoos and lotions. Cons - None - really...NONE! Room 203-Overall super disappointing. Pro’s: the room open directly out to the pool, and the shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. very nice. The in room coffee maker was a great plus. Housekeeping was timely super friendly. Cons: To put it mildly, the room was “tired”. From no windows at all in the room (other than the door windows), a simple dining chair in the corner as the only seating, and no closet (leaving the ironing board and iron sitting on the floor in the room), to the broken wicker headboard, the outdated shower tiling, mold in the corners of the wall outside of the shower, the super loud air conditioner that even on auto ran constantly, the broken blinds on the doorway allowing folks to peer into the room towards one side of the bed easily, and the lack of humidifier in the room that left everything in the room damp feeling, it honestly feels and felt like this room was a total afterthought that was actually a forgotten thought. This room should likely be the very last room that they place someone in and should likely be downgraded to the least expensive room they have.

The property location was good, a 10 minute walk to Duval Street. The bakery next door was so convenient and the hotel paid for the meals. Our room however, was a different story. Without a doubt, the smallest room we have ever stayed in. It was LITERALLY a bed, dresser and bathroom. My husband could touch both walls when he stretched his arms out.. NOTHING at all to compliment.

Small room and bed, but best location and environments.

Our room was right on Eaton and very noisy due to traffic. Ask for a room in the back! Otherwise, lovely place!

Lots of humidity in the room

Very cute quaint rooms with a fun Key West decor. Highly recommend the queen bed rooms for 2 people as the double bed rooms can be quite small. Complimentary breakfast by the pool every day from 8-10am was very nice. Property and pool were very beautiful. Rooms were tidied daily. A little noisy depending on where your room is located (we were one of the first rooms when you walk up to the property off of Eaton St room 104 but we loved our room itself and our large private porch). Check in/check out was very quick and easy. Overall very nice time and would return.

Lets start with an introduction of Great management. Victor was so friendly helpful and was extremely professional. The hotel was Quaint comfortable and a very relaxing vibe. Rooms were clean and comfortable thank you for a great stay

This was my 2nd stay here, the grounds are beautiful and quiet. A short walk to the historic seaport or duval st, while being just fat enough away to have none of the noise of the entertainment district. I was unexpectedly delayed in arriving and did not think to call, they were nice enough to leave my key and checkbin paperwork so i didnt miss out on my first night.

Great stay. Great staff and very helpful. Room service daily was nice even without needing it. (Personal notes). I didn’t notice the check-in policy said you had to call 24 hrs before to check in until the day of the trip. Not a problem. They promptly called me back after leaving a voice mail saying it wasn’t a problem

When we arrived at the property, I accidentally left my bag with several sodas and snacks at the reservation desk. When I went back for it, the young man said, “yes, I know you left it but I threw it away!” He knew our room, he could’ve brought it to us or called us! The morning breakfast staff were great. Convenient to Duval St and the water front! Nice overall stay!

The staff was exceptional, especially the General Manager Victor. The continental breakfast was fantastic and served by the pool. The inn is within walking distance of all the shopping, restaurants, and water fronts but far enough from all of that that it’s quiet and relaxing. Definitely plan on returning to this inn

Victor, the manager, and his staff do an excellent job of providing a comfortable stay. They are courteous, helpful and go out of their way to make sure visitors have everything they need. They did bring back the continental breakfast which is a great way to start the day. Melanie, the breakfast attendant, was also very pleasant and helpful in recommending places to visit on the island. We will be returning in February.

The property itself is beautiful. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights and they were all very nice. The location is closer to the seaport area than Duval, which I personally prefer. There is no parking without paying $40 for overnight parking at the Grinnell St. parking deck. My lower scores were for the pure lack of decency of the staff. When we entered to check in, my mother, who uses a cane and is nearly 80 years old, tripped over the entry way and literally fell into the foyer. There were 2 staff members in the office who watched this happen and neither of them moved from where they were standing or offered any assistance at all. In fact, even after we got her up and checked in, no one asked if she was OK, offered to get ice or showed any concern whatsoever. I have never seen workers less concerned about someone who was injured on their property. Having stayed here before, I was the one who recommended this property. I won't make that mistake again. A little humanity would have gone a long way.

At check-in there was a "glitch" with our booking for some unforeseen reason. What we thought was going to be a major problem and us not having the room we originally booked the staff at Westwinds Inn went into action. Front desk personnel, Al and Tamara and especially the General Manager Victor was successful in correcting the situation. I have stayed at many places in Key West but I must say, with the way this was handled, Westwinds Inn is now my first choice when planning future trips!! Thank you Victor, Tamara and Al for making our stay and vacation great!! Hope to see you all soon!!

Location was great! Close enough to walk to Duvall St. action while not staying n the heart of the noise and congestion. Great bakery on the corner & several dining option within the same block. We were lucky enough to find street parking which is free for 72 hours. We stayed parked the whole time & walked everywhere we wanted to go. Clean and quiet, a perfect oasis to retreat too.

It was clean and decorated nicely. Within walking distance of most attractions. One mile from the southern most point.

Secluded, beautiful, quiet getaway close to Duval Street. Parking is an issue since you have to park off property and there is a little to no parking for scooters or golf carts. Staff was incredible. Property was amazing!

Westwinds is in a perfect area. Walking distance to everywhere. We took the ferry from ft Myers and we only had a 5 minute walk to Westwinds. Love the folage and 2 pools along with plenty of places to get a tan or to just relax and areas to sit at to eat outside. Staff is wonderful with whatever you need.

Loved the location, the gardens and pool. Remember to ask for a room away from the street. Pickup of garbage at 5AM was a bit of a surprise, we also picked up a lot of motorcycle noise as our room was right on the street. Fantastic location for any activities anywhere throughout the old town activities.

This is a lovely hotel, surprisingly quiet, for being located on a busy street, at least the rooms in the back, and next to the pool. It is within a walkable distance from the waterfront and downtown. The rooms are in decent shape, not perfect, but ours did contain a kitchenette. The 2 pools and garden are perfect. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired; it was your standard free "chain hotel" breakfast, but there are many options for breakfast nearby. All in all, I would recommend this property.

Lack of adequate parking Should give voucher for public parking. No restaurant or cafe no bar Rooster woke me up every morning at 530 or earlier LOL Wish had full breakfast available.

Lovely property and room. We stayed in a Junior King room on the 2nd floor. It was nice and the staff was great. The breakfast isn’t much but the area by the pool where breakfast was served was quaint and peaceful.

Liked the property. Very pretty and well kept. The pool was cold and the lounge chairs need cushions, but the area was lovely. They advertise breakfast included but they gave us coupons ($30 for two people for two breakfasts) to use at the bakery at the end of the block. Not even enough to get a coffee and pastrie for each of us for both days. Property was a long walk to Duval St but was close to the harbor area were we spend most of our time. I would recommend this property.

Very nice property well maintained. Everything 5 stars except the breakfast which was what I’d expect at a Holiday Inn. The coffee was lukewarm most mornings; the orange juice should be fresh squeezed-it’s Florida after all; baked goods were sub-par and fruit selection very limited.

We absolutely loved everything about Westwinds Inn! Staff are very friendly and truly make you feel welcome. Great location and close to waterfront and Duval. Gave us an early check in and at check out, allowed us to leave our luggage and come back to use the pool and shower in the bathouse before taking the express boat back to Fort Myers at 5:00. Breakfast was provided at Bakery just down the street and you picked from the menu. Absolutely loved our stay!
