The property was incredible. Favourite bit was the balcony which had the best view and so special being able to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The robes as well were such good quality. Loved the pools, it never felt busy and always easy access to the loungers. Wildlife around too was so incredible to see. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the activities (yoga, kayaks, bikes, shuttle service etc) were brilliant. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Beautiful property and facilities. Room was in minor disrepair, but wasn't worth reporting. Restaurant was relatively limited in options and given the distance to main Key West (20 minutes) food options weren't fantastic for us. Great options for complimentary use of bikes, kayaks, and Stand Up Paddleboards. Overall a beautiful spot and lovely property. Would certainly return if in Key West again.

Great location for a quiet getaway. The resort has plenty of amenities, including restaurant and bar, 6 pools, and a gym. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, some including a terrace. There is also complimentary shuttle to Key West, 2hr bike and kayak rental. The only remark is that the rooms smell like cigarettes although staff has assured us the hotel has always been a smoke free.

We’ve stayed here twice now. Staff is great, the shuttle into town is super convenient (hi Jeffrey!). We love that you can use the kayaks or paddleboards every day. The tiki hut crew is the best! The place is clean and I feel safe walking around there. It’s well lit and easy to navigate.

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we didnt want for a thing. Gave suggestions on great places to eat, things to do, places to visit. There are things to do at the resort daily from guided kayak tours, stand up paddle boarding, several outdoor pools, etc. There is a shuttle that will take you to downtown keywest that runs on the hour until 11pm each night that can save you some money if you dont want to spend the extra renting a scooter or golf cart. The only golf course on the island is about 8 monutes away and wasy to get to from the resort. Its about a 12-15 ride to downtown. Shuttle guide Bob gave us some recommendations of places to visit and were very glad we listened. Already planning the family vacation to bring the kids next time after this experience.

My overall stay was horrible. The air conditioning was not working in my room and it was very hot. The thermostat says it was 67°. However, the room felt like 75°. My babies were extremely hot that they were sweating in their sleep. I had to undressed them in order for them to sleep comfortable. I complained to the front desk after the first night and the gentleman at the front desk assured me that he was going to move me to another room when I came back to get the keys the third shift gentleman told me that he sent maintenance to my room to fix it and the air is working there’s no need for me to move my room. So once we got back to the room from the funeral, the room was extremely uncomfortable and hot. My kids were sweaty. The phone in the room did not work for me to call down to the front desk so when I call the hotel number and try to be connected to the front desk, it kept ringing until I reached voicemail. No one answered it was raining outside, so I refuse to go back down to the front desk with my babies in the rain. There was some staining rust on the shower floor. The nightstand between the beds electrical outlets did not work for you to charge your phone so you have to charge your phone across the room. Mini bar refrigerator in the living room area was not working/foul smell. The walls had dirt smeared on it, as if the paint is coming off of the walls. The sheets has stains on them for the amount of money spent in this hotel room was not worth it. & was overcharged

The room was beautiful but it smelled so musky they tried to deodorize it and I couldn't find about it but that didn't work I didn't want to change my room cuz I like The view so I dealt with it. The staff was great

Upon check-in we were told our room was ready. We proceeded to our room only to find it was not ready. We were then told it would be ready very soon…3 hours later we were notified it was ready. On our 3rd day we spend the day by the pool and paddle boarding. We returned to our room at 3:40 only to find our room had not been cleaned. No towels, soap, water, coffee. My husband went to the front desk and they sent someone up to clean. The very same thing happened the following day. It seemed to be no big deal to hotel staff or management. I work in customer service myself and this to me is unacceptable considering the type of resort this is. While we loved our stay in Key West unfortunately we will not return to Oceans Edge. We do want to say thank you to Patrick, Jon and Nadia, they by far exceeded all expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff needs training!

We’ve stayed here before and would stay again. It’s a wonderful property! All staff are helpful and courteous, the rooms are beautiful, pools are clean and comfortable, and the beds are amazing!! The only reason I have a 4-star instead of 5 was because of the smell of sewage in the bathroom. My older children also smelled it in their room. I did let the front desk know and Ana at the desk was very apologetic and said they would check it out. But we would definitely stay here again.

I want to start by saying the staff we engaged with (Felix, Lafame, Jeff) were absolutely fantastic. We went on a kayak tour with Felix, which was wonderful and fun! When we had an issue with our first room, Lafame got on it immediately. When we took the shuttle, Jeff was our favorite driver who knew so much about the island. The staff and fun activities offered by the resort were definitely the best part of the trip. The resort itself could use some work. Our first room had black mold growing in the air vent and on the baseboard. I let the front desk know, sending them pictures, and they immediately moved our room to a different building. This room was bigger, but definitely had the same issues. The mold was both visible in the air vent and the bathroom ceiling, and could be smelled everywhere in the room. I am not one to make a big fuss and I didn’t want to keep moving rooms. I am sure it is difficult to do appropriate upkeep with rooms to prevent mold in that kind of climate, but it is a health concern, especially with the mold growing inside of the air conditioning vent. I appreciate that they tried to upgrade our room for the inconvenience, but the fact that we were sent to a room with the same issue indicates this is a bigger issue with the whole property. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Duval Street. There is not much to do around the property. We walked to a great restaurant, Roostica, but even that was a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Hated this place. First, you have to drive through threatening trailer parks to get here. Second, it’s next to a military base where the Jets can make it seem like the walls are shaking. Third, the rooms literally stink, like a musky, moldy smell. Fourth, there was long hair on my towels, being I’m bald, pretty sure the towels were dirty. Finally, and most of all, there was a $60 resort fee that Travelocity did not disclose to me. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

The front desk General Mgr upgraded us from an oceanview King Standard to an Oceanview King Suite, but the view of the ocean was more of a view of huge container tanks. We were told that the move will take place at 1-2p, unfortunately, the upgraded room promised was not ready until 4pm, so we moved to an alternate room because we were already packed and didn't want to waste our day. On another day, we were told by dining staff to rush in 3 minutes because breakfast ends at 11a; however, 2 days later, we entered the dining room at 11:20a, and 2 dining servers told us that we could not be served lunch yet. We waited until 11:45a for a server to take our order. It was very strange! The water pressure in our bathroom was poor and the carpet and shower tiles were soiled in the upgraded room compared to the original room. The elevator closest to our room was out of service even after 4 days. 18% gratuity is automatically included at their restaurant. Pluses: the resort is nice and relaxing with an accommodating friendly staff. The cushions in the pool areas were soiled. Yellowfin is the only restaurant with delicious food and nice views.

The property was incredible. Favourite bit was the balcony which had the best view and so special being able to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The robes as well were such good quality. Loved the pools, it never felt busy and always easy access to the loungers. Wildlife around too was so incredible to see. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the activities (yoga, kayaks, bikes, shuttle service etc) were brilliant. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

The good, convenience of shuttle to town, pool was clean but not always stocked w/towels. Beautiful view. The not so good, had no sheer curtain on garden balcony w/pool in plain view. Reported it to front desk and their response was that no rooms had sheers when they clearly did. We had to keep our curtain shut when the light was on, Contacted housekeeping and they were able to get maintenance to find a sheer and put up half way thru our stay. Room smelled musty (moldy rug) Limited menu if you didn’t want dinner(they did offer a burger so they tried )For the rate they asked I expected better.

This was a great find for our trip to key west, the resort offers free shuttle rides into key west and they offer the best on site events or activities with available kayaks, bikes, golf carts, and so much more. The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. And the decks were very nice facing the ocean, although there are no privacy screens between decks, so you have to get a bit cozy with your neighbors if you feel like enjoying the outdoors during your stay. Overall a great place and great service.

This was a nice hotel complex. Not really a resort in that there was only one restaurant on the property. And it was extremely limited in the menu selections and very expensive for the portion served. The complex needs to have a small cafe with coffee, appetizers or snacks. Also they should not book rooms in a cluster! There were only a few rooms occupied in our Building, but yet we were all on top or beside each other!! So we couldn’t enjoy the balcony like we wanted due to other guests enjoying theirs right next to us. The management should have spaced out the guests. Inconsiderate.

This hotel is at the end of Key West centered on a marina. The hotel is located in the flight path of the airport which can be quite noisy. There were a number of different pools and many families were staying there during our time. The hotel is a distance from the attractions and involved a 20 minute cab ride each way to get into historic Key West. There is one restaurant on property. We were upgraded to a water view suite - which was lovely.

The front desk General Mgr upgraded us from an oceanview King Standard to an Oceanview King Suite, but the view of the ocean was more of a view of huge container tanks. We were told that the move will take place at 1-2p, unfortunately, the upgraded room promised was not ready until 4pm, so we moved to an alternate room because we were already packed and didn't want to waste our day. On another day, we were told by dining staff to rush in 3 minutes because breakfast ends at 11a; however, 2 days later, we entered the dining room at 11:20a, and 2 dining servers told us that we could not be served lunch yet. We waited until 11:45a for a server to take our order. It was very strange! The water pressure in our bathroom was poor and the carpet and shower tiles were soiled in the upgraded room compared to the original room. The elevator closest to our room was out of service even after 4 days. 18% gratuity is automatically included at their restaurant. Pluses: the resort is nice and relaxing with an accommodating friendly staff. The cushions in the pool areas were soiled. Yellowfin is the only restaurant with delicious food and nice views.

The property was great. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I considered taking a picture of some minor corrosion on the toilet, because that is obviously due to it being right on the ocean. I was going to post it saecastically. The reality is the only thing I would change is not buying the breakfast package. It kind of locks you into certain choices. The restaurant on site was great. The shuttle drivers were helpful and the staff was great with recommendations. I would happily stay again.

The resort was nice and we enjoyed yoga. Most of the staff acted like robots doing a job. The desk clerks, especially cladie were not good. We had a credit card snafu in the end so after spending thousands of dollars, we were treated like criminals and threatened with jail. It was only for 500. This was rectified. But before it was, the made me sit in the lobby like a child. We had spent much more exponentially before this but this particular clerk spoke rudely and condescending to us. She kept printing out the receipt for us as though we were uneducated hicks. I have a PHD and while this makes me no better it doesn't justify being talked down too. I wouldnt recommend this resort to anyone and my friends changed their minds about staying here in January. Room cleaning was sub par...not thorough. The one bright spot was the concierge who repeatedly apologized to us for his colleague's behavior. He was clearly embarrassed. Do yourselves a favor...unless you have a ton of money, which most hardworking people do not but deserve a vacation, find ither lodging..maybe a motel 6. I wont ever go to Key West again because ofvthis absurd little personage and the antics.

This was an absolutely amazing stay and would recommend and stay again. The only issue we had the manager gladly compensated for which was outstanding customer service. Nothing bad to say at all! Thank you Sophia and Lafame for being so kind and personable. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Upon check-in we were told our room was ready. We proceeded to our room only to find it was not ready. We were then told it would be ready very soon…3 hours later we were notified it was ready. On our 3rd day we spend the day by the pool and paddle boarding. We returned to our room at 3:40 only to find our room had not been cleaned. No towels, soap, water, coffee. My husband went to the front desk and they sent someone up to clean. The very same thing happened the following day. It seemed to be no big deal to hotel staff or management. I work in customer service myself and this to me is unacceptable considering the type of resort this is. While we loved our stay in Key West unfortunately we will not return to Oceans Edge. We do want to say thank you to Patrick, Jon and Nadia, they by far exceeded all expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff needs training!

We’ve stayed here twice now. Staff is great, the shuttle into town is super convenient (hi Jeffrey!). We love that you can use the kayaks or paddleboards every day. The tiki hut crew is the best! The place is clean and I feel safe walking around there. It’s well lit and easy to navigate.

First time I have a bad experience, front desk agent not friendly at all. They swap my room from 1 King to 2 queens from 1st floor to 2nd floor without a reason or explanation, I asked why and the answer was just because. I expect this associate attends some training for customer service

We also took advantage of the bicycles to get to lunch (at Hog Fish) and the kayaks. My only frustration is that we must have missed the $50 daily "resort fee" in the fine print when we booked so that was a bit of a surprise. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to others.

Very clean and private. Make sure you are aware of resort fees and parking fees. In my opinion, there is no need to rent a car. The property provides a shuttle service that takes you to Key West. We will definitely stay here again and not rent a car. The marina is lovely. It is not “beach side” but it is top notch and definitely a getaway destination that forces you to relax!

I liked that it was quiet and the area was clean. The fun included events talked about only occur on friday and saturday so we did not feel like we got a good use of our money . Happy hour could not be included at the pool and you were required to go in for happy hour and could not take your drink to the pool. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once. The shuttle dropped us off and we had at the very least a 15 minute walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The beach was a 35 minute walk from the drop off site when we were told it was 5 minutes. They allowed us to paddle board and when we came back we stayed there were quite a few sharks and stingrays to which the reply was “yes at this time of the day the fishermen cut their fish and throw scraps in the water to feed them” we were upset this was not information provided before. the front desk people were dismissing the concerns i brought up and said “oh that sucks… have a good rest of your stay”. Activities planned outside of the resort were great!!

Beautiful resort with delicious food! Fish tacos were amazing! We loved the island music always playing at the pool and the shuttle back and forth to KeyWest was great. Only suggestion would be for shuttle drop off to be more centralized. Long walk ti things unless you plan on being north.

Hated this place. First, you have to drive through threatening trailer parks to get here. Second, it’s next to a military base where the Jets can make it seem like the walls are shaking. Third, the rooms literally stink, like a musky, moldy smell. Fourth, there was long hair on my towels, being I’m bald, pretty sure the towels were dirty. Finally, and most of all, there was a $60 resort fee that Travelocity did not disclose to me. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Nice and comfortable rooms. We found the microwave in ours very useful. Very limited food options at the resort itself and the lunch menu is much better than the dinner menu. There is a kiddies food menu but none of the staff tell you about it if you dine with kids. The pools were very hot for the time of year we were there. The shuttle to town is very handy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oceans Edge. It was a beautiful relaxing oasis for us to spend a few days. The weather was not great (windy & a little chilly) so we couldn't use the paddleboards or kayaks. The food at the restaurant was delicious and we ended up eating there for almost all our meals. Delicious drinks as well.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oceans Edge. It was a beautiful relaxing oasis for us to spend a few days. The front desk General Mgr upgraded us from an oceanview King Standard to an Oceanview King Suite, but the view of the ocean was more of a view of huge container tanks. We were told that the move will take place at 1-2p, unfortunately, the upgraded room promised was not ready until 4pm, so we moved to an alternate room because we were already packed and didn't want to waste our day. On another day, we were told by dining staff to rush in 3 minutes because breakfast ends at 11a; however, 2 days later, we entered the dining room at 11:20a, and 2 dining servers told us that we could not be served lunch yet. We waited until 11:45a for a server to take our order. It was very strange! The water pressure in our bathroom was poor and the carpet and shower tiles were soiled in the upgraded room compared to the original room. Beautiful resort and location. Having construction and updating while we were there as it recently became a Hilton resort. Love the location and the 2 hours of kayak/ paddle boarding and/or bicycling that was provided at no cost. Air conditioning in unit had issues but they tried to correct while there and it got a little better. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Had issues with the bill and they corrected it and gave me free parking for my trouble. Yellowfin Restaurant was wonderful. Need to improve happy hour as no discount with drinks were a part of it.

We arrived they did not tell us they had construction going on buildings were closed . Hotel. Com should have some understanding of this or hotels should have to report when they are doing construction or a pool is not working. Thats false advertisement I had to pay for another resort because of the fake advertisement of this hotel

The housekeeping was awful. The bathrooms were clearly not cleaned well. Base of shower inside & out was dirty. Had to ask for toilet paper, we were there a week and had to ask for bed to be changed. They knocked on the door at different times so we never knew when they were coming. Garbage in the halls going to rooms. The restaurant & staff were amazing, the food was great. We spent a lot of money there and should not have to ask for clean rooms. Stayed at a Hilton in Boston, same issue with rooms. Too bad

Hotel was nice but for price, I would not stay again. Over 300 a night after their 53.00 resort fee and 29.00 to park. Carpet in room was very dirty for that price point. A/C was horrible I barely slept because it was so hot. Water pressure in shower was really bad too. I just expected better from a Hilton.
