Ocean Key Resort & Spa, a Noble House Resort

The pool should be closed by the Florida Department of Health. For the cost of this place it was unacceptable. That and the 24 hour pool music speaker bolted to my balcony is what led to this honest review.

This place was fantastic. From the oven view room we had to the staff! If it was not for an elevator being out of commission I’d rate the experience as a 5 star.

The hotel is decent but not worth the rate charged. Parking is excessively expensive at $48 per night and there isn’t much offered for the $60 resort fee. Nearby roosters are in a different time zone and will wake you up in the middle of the night. Location is the only reason to stay here.

Nice stay, large room, odd bathroom doors, great location. we got a great off season rate of $229, I would have been disappointed if i had paid significantly more. The pool was my favorite part, it overlooks the water, nice chairs and a nice bar. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Perfect location, 0 Duval St! Tucked right on the gulf! Clean! Staff top notch! Rooms large, well maintained, huge bathrooms with great lighting and awesome back lit vanity mirror. Pool and pool service was top-notch as well as fantastic cocktails.

Location was perfect. Very walkable. The music in the pool area was too loud. I like to read poolside and the noise made this difficult. Also, even with umbrellas it was hard to get out of direct sun

We had an amazing stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Spa was nice my wife loved that. We both loved the pool area, so nice and relaxing!!! Very convenient in the heart of everything. We cannot wait to go back

The pool was smaller than it looked online but turned out to be the perfect size. It wasn’t crowded. Very nice poolside bar. Hotel is very centrally located.

I had difficulty with the Rooster' in the early morning! I had a hard time staying asleep! One elevator never repaired. Made getting a elevator hard. Beautiful views from our room. Thank you!!

We absolutely loved the staff and manager. They were amazing. The room was clean but the room needed upgrading. It had chipped paint and peeling edges along with outdated and worn furniture. The elevators smelled like mold since it’s exposed to the outside.

On the plus side, the room size and layout was fantastic. Pool was awesome. Hotel location and restaurants were really cool too! We feel there were 3 key areas of opportunity the hotel could improve upon. Keep in mind, this is through the context of Ocean Key being classified as "4 star" and its premium price to the Key West market. (1) Room was recently renovated, but was dirty/unfinished/poor details. Housekeeping did not know how to clean floors properly, leaving sticky film residue and old hair everywhere. There were paint and finishing blemishes all over the place. The shower only had half a door, so water sprayed everywhere. Bathtub in the bedroom did not drain and its faucet did not function properly. (2) The beds were the worst we've ever slept on, and this includes budget-friendly 3-star hotels. My wife and I felt like someone beat up our backs each night, and as a result we slept poorly. Case in point: when we got back to the Midwest, we stayed at a basic 3-star Hilton and their bed seemed to "heal" our backs from Ocean Key. This applies to the sofabed too per our 8-year old daughter. (3) They do not know basic definitions of coffee. If you are serving breakfast, it's vital to get coffee right. We ordered lattes through room service but got crappy drip coffee mixed with milk (not a hint of espresso to be found). In the end, feeling dirty and sleeping terribly/being sore from the beds offset the location and pool.

There were alot of things close by to do. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

Our room had a partial ocean view. The other part was the cruise ships that come and go daily. It was fun to have them just appear quietly. We love Key West and have been visiting for many years. First time at this location and we'd do it again. Perfect spot for walking to most of our favorite places. The room was freshly decorated, comfortable, clean and fun. The staff was courteous and accomodating. Next time we will try the restaurant.

The only good thing about my stay, was My room had the best view! I got lost and could not find my room. I had no phone on me and no way to reach out to anyone there were two cleaning employees. They’re just chatting it up on the steps. I asked if they could help me. I was lost and I could not find my room. She said well what’s the number? I said I don’t know then she proceeded to laugh because she thought that was funny or something, then continued to laugh. Watch me be upset so I asked someone else she didn’t speak English so I was lost about 45 minutes till I finally made it back to the front desk the bathtub there was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned. I came back to my room to change and a lady was cleaning it. I asked her if she could just give me a minute because I needed to get changed , she said that she would have to finish cleaning the room before so I was late because she wouldn’t get out of my room for me to change… Treated very rudely would not recommend

Great staff. Nice room. Condition of some public areas looked shabby and tired. Appearance of elevators not up to par with other hotels at this price

Hotel was a pleasure to spend a week in . staff was friendly and courteous . We had a ocean front room on the 4th floor overlooking the harbor , Mallory Square. and the hotel pool. Balcony was delightful to sit on day and night . the pool was very nice , not overcrowded while we were there . there was always lounges available . Pool area was spotless and the bar and food service was great . Hotel is pricey and I had high expectations and was not disappointed . Would absolutely stay there again .

Two of the three elevators were not working, the one that was working smelled awful. Room was nice, although adjacent rooms could be heard as the walls are very thin. Nice place, nice view, way overpriced though.

I was a little reserved staying so close to Duval St with kids. But this was wonderful, we only got woken up by Roosters, not loud downtown party noises. It’s right next to Mallory square and the sunset celebration. We could quickly walk downtown key west for food snacks and souvenirs. Overall a great stay.

For an ocean view room only saw and heard the Mallory Square parking lot with loud music late into every night. Palm trees blocked any view of the ocean.

We had a fantastic trip. Service and food were great. The only thing we didn’t like is the bathrooms had no privacy.

The property is difficult to navigate, but is also very nice. The staff was accommodating and friendly. However, housekeeping staff do not speak English. Although I think they do a good job it’s difficult to communicate your needs. The room we had was a junior suite partial ocean view (we upgraded for an additional $20 daily) It was worth it. The view was beautiful. We could see cruise ships and the comings and goings of Mallory Square. However, Mallory Square has a Cuban restaurant that has a loud live band, many people and there was a lot of construction, tree trimming, etc. Therefore, during the day this hotel (the room we were in was 423) it’s quite noisy. If you’re out and about during the day and you come back to just sleep at night this is a great spot. Room service is fantastic! Hot tin roofs food is wonderful! Bartender at welcome bar was great too! Wasn’t too impressed with the food from Sunset pier or Liquid. Good drinks though. Overall, I don’t know if I would stay here again based on the noise from Mallory Square. Not the resort itself. We were on our anniversary trip and we’re hoping for a little bit of solitude on our balcony and watch the sunset, but it’s simply impossible with the noise next door. Its a lively spot I would say until about 11- midnight. We still had a wonderful time! Thank you.

Water pressure was weak.

The concierge, Mitchell, was superb. Very pleasant and easy to work with. He ordered us a cab for a 6am pick up. Cab was on time and clean. Loved the pool area. Within walking distance all activities, shopping, dining and sight seeing. Mallory Square is their backyard.

We were able to check in early and the staff was so accommodating. Ive been to Key West many times and this is by far my favorite resort!

Super friendly staff. From the valet to the front desk the entire experience was great from check in to check out. I would love to stay here again.

In our opinion, the Ocean Key is the best located, best maintained property in all of Key West. The entire staff was very warm, welcoming, and professional and they made our stay most enjoyable.

The AC when running made a loud popcorn machine noise. Basically it ran 30 minutes and off for 10. Unable to sleep. We explained it to The front desk and they just said they will tell maintenance. Not even a free water or coffee after no sleep.

The resort property itself is unique, with an open central area and rooms with views on all sides (pool and sunset, pier and gulf, or the liveliness of Duval Street). Though the walk from the lobby to the farthest rooms can be a trip and the music from neighboring sites can play into the night (going to sleep early could be difficult), neither negatively affected our stay. The resort is the most excellently located in Key West, with most downtown attractions within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the staff were eager to assist. Check-in/check-out was effortless.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be returning and staying here agian.

The staff were amazing. I had a concern and felt validated after The Director of the Front area (Chris this is a shout at for your superb guest service) addressed my concern pretty quickly. A wonderful experience at this Resort knowing that they actually want to give a customer experience that you are happy with! The rest of the staff here are also wonderful. Thank you so much!

The property location is very convenient to Duvall Street and other attractions

Room was very nice, but for the price it should of been. The best part of the property was the location to Mallory Square and downtown area. The property needs to be more well marked and change the numeral address because zero did not register on Map Quest and we spent an hour trying to find the place.

Our 1st trip to KW. This resort was in great location, beautiful water view and very close to all thw action. We walked easily to restaurants and taverns on Duvall.

This property is in a great location right on the water and close to the restaurants and bars. Friendly staff and nice rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, Location, Location. The resort was beautiful and very accommodating. I loved the place!

Used the trip to propose to my fiancé. Upon arrival the staff and concierge were very helpful in finalizing the surprise. Our room was amazing and although only a partial ocean view, we had great sightlines to the ocean and overlooking Mallory Square. Even with the location, the room and resort was quiet and peaceful. My only complaint, which isn't major, was the dresser also housed the mini fridge. The door was loose and popped open every time we opened the drawers to get out cloths. The cabinet with the mini bar also had the trip popping off. Maintenance came up and fixed the trim, but even though we pointed out the mini fridge door several times, it was never fixed and was annoying during the entire trip. Property is beautiful and well taken care of and the staff were amazing. The ocean view pool and bar were nice as well. This property is at the end of Duval and you don't have to travel far to enjoy the sites, bars, and restaraunts.

Loved how walkable this property is to everything Key West. We never had to drive. There are so many great restaurants nearby and the ones on site are delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, the lobby smells AMAZING and you will feel like you’re in paradise!

Mitchell was great!!! I was celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and he made sure everything was perfect! Very clean hotel. Location is perfect, close to everything. Amazing views. We had dinner at the Hot Tin restaurant around 7pm with the sunset and it was perfect. Definitely we will be back!

This was my 1st time at this property and I can’t say enough good things. Our room had a balcony facing the port so we got to see the cruise ships coming and going. We also were able to see every sunset without leaving our room. The property is very clean and well maintained. We had an excellent breakfast at the Hot Tin Roof restaurant overlooking the pool, ocean and Sun Set Key. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful luxurious hotel on the water. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view where we had room service breakfast. Staff were excellent. We walked down Duval Street and all around town.

Partial ocean view was splendid! Beautiful sunsets every night. Spa was nice, pool not too crowded and warm. Hot Tin Roof at sunset had a great view and excellent food.

Lovely Room with water view. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Would be nice to have a cafe/dining other than the expensive, reservation only, dinner restaurant on site. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff were all GREAT! The room was very clean and large. Pool wasn’t big but was never so busy we couldn’t get chairs. Definitely check out the Hot Tin Roof bar and restaurant. Best Peaches and Cream Old Fashioned! Best drink I had in Key West! Overall, would stay again and would recommend!

Great place to stay. Rooms have great views and very comfortable beds. The location is best for eating, shopping, entertainment. The hot tin roof restaurant have great food and a beautiful view of ocean & sunset island. Cuban coffee is within walking distance. The pool has the best sunset views with the best pina colada. This is the place you don’t want to leave & can’t wait to return to.

This motel is a very nice location. The price you are paying is for the location. It is walking distance from everything you will want to see in Key West. The rooms are very clean. The only advice I have is skip the tin roof restaurant, it is not worth the price and the service is poor. The pool and pier is very nice and the staff at this location is great. The lobby is a little bit disappointing but don’t let that fool you because everyone there is happy to help you and having a great vacation.
