This is an outstanding boutique hotel, beautiful from the curb, even nicer inside. Our suite was in excellent condition, extremely well-appointed, very clean, everything you need to cook, ice maker, daily service, friendly and attentive staff. Really the only complaint- it would be nice to have a smart TV for music, Netflix, etc. Also, the hotel should not permit people to run out to 'reserve' pool lounge chairs with a towel or book at 7am when they have no intention of going out there until 11am- you are either there using the lounger or not.

We had a fantastic stay at Santa Maria Suites. The suites were spacious and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the separation of the two bedrooms and the full size laundry room. The staff at Santa Maria Suites were extraordinary. They were kind and helpful. The little touches of the muffins, ice cream bars, pool-side snacks, and fresh waters made us feel extra special. The pool was such a great retreat after a day exploring. We never had any trouble finding a chair or towels. We loved being on the ground floor and walking just a few feet to the pool. The only thing that needs attention is the tile around the pool. It gets very, very slick when wet and several people slid or fell. Overall, we loved our stay and didn't want to leave!

We took my dad here for his 90th birthday. The trip was all about him and he loved the resort. We were able to borrow a wheelchair from the hotel, and the accessible room worked out perfectly. They also had a lift chair to get him in the pool, but we didn’t take advantage. The staff were very accommodating, and the resort is quiet but close enough to the riff raff on duval st. Highly recommend this resort!

Shout out to Matilda who was awesome! Probably the best hotel 'concierge' (?) we've ever interacted with (and we've traveled a lot). Matilda was very friendly, approachable, accommodating, and provided great suggestions on how to spend our time. She hooked us up with Louis for rides to and from a few of our excursions and gave us some tips on how to make the most of them. The photos of the pools and pool bar were a little deceiving, they looked bigger. That said it was nice that they were not overcrowded and that chairs were available at all times. It didn't feel like your typical resort pool area. The only negative feedback our party has is the bartender the first two days we were there was rather rude. She would only make drinks that were on her list, which was limited to about 5 or 6 options. We've visited several tropical areas and the pool bar is really what makes the pool experience more fun. When you have someone who acts bothered and limits you to what she will make you it takes from the fun. Fortunately, the liquor store was right across the street so we bought our own alcohol and used the amazing kitchen area in our room to be our own bartenders. Overall our experience was amazing! I would still recommend staying here and would definitely go back. Thanks to Matilda and the other welcoming front office people.

What a gem! Santa Maria was the perfect destination for our family vacation to Key West. The property was perfectly located to access many of the best sights in Key West and we loved coming back in the afternoon to next to the pool under the shady palm trees. The staff took great care of us. We will be back!

This was a last minute book and didn’t disappoint. Walking distance to everything from the beach to shops and bars! Only slight negative was the hotel restaurant being closed for renovation and the slushie machine by the pool being broken which we’re two things I looked forward to when booking.

We just spent 4 nights at Santa Maria Suites and loved it. It was clean, the pool area was amazing and the staff were friendly. They offered unlimited bottles of water, morning muffins, dove ice cream bars, chocolates and even FREE wine during happy hour. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful and helpful staff, super clean, comfortable beds, and great location. Hotel is situated close to one end of Duval Street and still so close to everything which is great if you are trying to avoid noise and congestion. Very modern resort, beautiful pool area, full kitchen, and washer and dryer.

We really enjoyed staying here. The pool area was great, small but never crowded, and there were always chairs available. We enjoyed happy hour snacks one night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at the property itself. However, we were treated very rudely at the sister property when we tried to get chairs and an umbrella at the beach. It's clear they cater to their own guests above the guests at Santa Maria Suites. Since there was no availability, we ended up driving to a state park with a beach, at an extra cost. The nightly service which provided ice cream bars and delicious muffins was a fantastic bonus! The property and facilities were very clean, but we never had our bedrooms cleaned or towels replaced. (Fortunately, we were able to get clean towels at the pool area.) The housekeeping staff got to our room each night around 5:30-6:00 pm as we were arriving back from daily activities and getting ready to go out for the evening. We asked if they could come back and they said they could, but they never actually did. We stayed 4 nights and never had our rooms cleaned. Thankfully, it was very clean when we arrived and we kept it clean. But, we have traveled a lot and I found this very unusual. Around the middle of our stay, as we were passing through the lobby, we asked to have our rooms cleaned, but it just never happened. Regardless of this, we enjoyed the property and its location.

Not that clean anymore compared 2017- facing parking lot and a parking entrance on 2 sides- despite a huge nightly rate, I asked for another room but was told that as I had not booked thru the hotel directly, they could not offer me another room. Not impressed and not going back!

The property was well cared for and clean, all of the staff in every capacity was friendly, responsive and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Very nice unexpected touches and extras that were welcome and appreciated. A great experience that we would recommend highly.

Absolutely loved Santa Maria Suites. The staff was exceptional and helpful. The rooms were so clean. Everyday the staff came in to tidy up rooms and they wipes the bathrooms down daily. Every afternoon they dropped off new coffee k-cups, chocolate and ice cream bars. The pool area was clean and had plenty of seating. It was the most perfect weekend!!

My FAVORITE property I have ever stayed at in Key West, this place did not disappoint and was one of the largest accommodations for a similar, smaller options. The walkability alone is worth it- the beach is steps away, many places to eat, and a bike rental across the street along with a few small bars! Duval is very walkable as well. Rooms themselves were quite large for KW standards but the bathrooms a bit smaller. If you are a larger individual you may have a harder time manuevering them. The property does seem to allow smoking outdoors and the clientle there were mostly adults with a few families with kids sprinkled in. The heated pools were a life saver and the pool bar is a nice addition too. Depending on whose working the pool bar though, service will either be quick or kinda spotty. The wine happy hour is a nice touch. We were really happy with the ammentities provided- washer and dryer worked great and the full kitchen was so nice. I will say, it's a bummer they don't have onsite bike racks for non employee/Santa Maria inn suites bikes. The bike rentals here are more $$ then local spots so it often left you in a lurch to find somewhere to park your bike. Cleaning services were nice and check in/out were efficient.

This was the perfect suite for our ladies trip. Two separate bedrooms, full kitchen and living space. All the amenities and open our door to the pool. Staff so amazing and helpful. Helped us book our golf cart rental and recommendations for food. Clean and beautiful atmosphere.

The resort is an older resort that has been refurbished wonderfully! We love having a ground floor suite and fully equipped kitchen. The pool area is stunning and tranquil. Will be back!

The rooms are spacious and quiet. We had a few issues with our room. The stove hood didn't work and there were a couple of bulbs out. The maintenance guys came right away but they couldn't fix the stove hood. Also the TVs in the rooms need to be updated and the living room furniture needs to be replaced. The lobby where you check in could also use a facelift. Overall the hotel is comfortable and clean but I really do hope they plan on making updates.

It didn't feel like your typical resort pool area. The only negative feedback our party has is the bartender the first two days we were there was rather rude. She would only make drinks that were on her list, which was limited to about 5 or 6 options. We've visited several tropical areas and the pool bar is really what makes the pool experience more fun. When you have someone who acts bothered and limits you to what she will make you it takes from the fun. Fortunately, the liquor store was right across the street so we bought our own alcohol and used the amazing kitchen area in our room to be our own bartenders. Overall our experience was amazing! I would still recommend staying here and would definitely go back. Thanks to Matilda and the other welcoming front office people.

Our 3 year old daughter stubbed her toe on a piece of furniture so badly it tore her nail off so we asked for an hour late check out, which was denied. We scrambled around all morning getting to CVS, dealing with our daughter’s injury. The manage and staff called and came by the unit, hovering around to make sure we were leaving. We ended up leaving at 11:35am, thirty five minutes late. After we left I noticed a $75 late check out fee on the invoice. After a 10 minute, spirited conversation with the manager, she refused to waive the fee. Mind you this was our 3rd spring break here in a row, totally upwards of $15k. So the $75 fee felt like a slap in the face. Unfortunate ending to our spring break.

Check in was terrible.... the front desk ladies were focused on many other things and I stood right in front of them for 15 minutes before they even greeted me. No smiles and a terrible attitude. I will say that Matilda made it right when i checked out. She apologized for the two other ladies and took excellent care of me. The hotel should really know how important she is to operations.

The property and rooms are beautiful. The staff is wonderful. Our flight was cancelled and we could not get another for 2 days. We had already checked out, but came back to the hotel and the concierge extended our stay for the 2 days, no problem. We were very grateful that they took care of the situation so easily.

Our room was perfect! The entire property is super clean. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very nice Matilda, the front desk receptionist. She was very friendly, and was able to accommodate our early check-in! Once she got us quickly checked in, we told her after driving all day, we were starving. She recommended a great place down the street to eat with lobster pizza. Great recommendation, as it was delicious. After the good meal, we enjoyed happy hour at the pool with Wilfredo serving us all delicious drinks. He made sure we had anything we wanted during our time at the pool. Very good bartender! Azul also did a great job filling in for the front desk and the bar. She did a great job. Housekeeping kept our rooms tidy and proper every day. After staying at a different property the previous trips we took to Key West, I think that my family has found our go-to spot in Key West!

Very luxurious stay. Loved the apartment with easy access to the pool. Loved the free wine, muffins and chocolates on the bed. Loved fresh towels everyday. Very efficient service. Our fault shower was fixed straight away. Would highly recommend and we definitely want to stay again.

Perfect small hotel resort! Near to everything we wanted to do in KW. Staff was all so friendly and helpful. Rooms were well stocked with helpful items (laundry and detergent!) and even treats (check the freezer for ice cream bars!) and well maintained. Milagro restaurant also very nice (the grilled Octopus was excellent!)

Incredible family stay with our 3 year old. Loved everything about the location, staff, service. Clean as can be! So accomodating. The restaurant on site, Milagro was amazing but closed earlier than others (9pm) we had great drinks there. Loved the fruit at the pool and frozen drinks. What a wonderful place to stay.

This was a last minute book and didn’t disappoint. Walking distance to everything from the beach to shops and bars! Only slight negative was the hotel restaurant being closed for renovation and the slushie machine by the pool being broken which we’re two things I looked forward to when booking.

We just spent 4 nights at Santa Maria Suites and loved it. It was clean, the pool area was amazing and the staff were friendly. They offered unlimited bottles of water, morning muffins, dove ice cream bars, chocolates and even FREE wine during happy hour. We will definitely be back!
