The front staff was not there when we arrived to check in. Every time we went there, no one was present. The valet parking was ridiculous because we were 10 ft away from the front door to where our car was parked. There was construction noise and hvac noise every time it came on.

Loved the hotel, staff was excellent! Had a great stay, room was awesome. The only thing i didnt like was the valet service as we were late getting somewhere as we had to wait for our car. Inconvenience for us. Would loved to have just parked our own car. And was told the valet was included , but they still charged us

Ideal location, spacious rooms with kitchenettes and terraces, although a bit dated, it is also in line with the history of the property. The bar never seemed to be open in the evenings, but we were there in August, which is slow season.

It was in a great location and walkable to the Grove. Beautiful pool area and rooms were more like apartments/condo's than hotel rooms. Full kitchen, dining area, family room and separate bedroom area. We learned about the unique history behind the hotel, very interesting.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area was my favorite. The water was clear and warm. The gardens surrounding the pool were spectacular with several orchids in bloom. Table 14 restaurant had a good variety on the menu. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff was exceptionally accomodating and courteous The room and the bed were comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. The kitchen tile needs replacing as well as the carpet that was worn and had some stains.

I chose the mutiny because of the neighborhood. It was very convenient. However, the rooms were dated, which generally doesn’t bother me. But the sheets were pilled and felt used even though they were clean. While I paid in full through hotels.com I was charged a resort fee at the hotel and a cleaning fee, per day. Although, when we checked in they let us know that housekeeping would not be coming and to let them know if we needed anything. There’s a gym and a pool, that’s the extent of a resort. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Nice and very quiet hotel. Room is great for a family, 2 adults and 2 kids. Very close by to lots of restaurants. We enjoyed the heated pool and the jacuzzi. Coupons with credit for food and beverage not really interesting as you cannot use it for the daily specials and also not possible to combine with other coupons. Parking is very expensive at $30 per night so consider using a uber instead of renting a car

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The Mutiny was conveniently located near all of the locations for the various wedding events (rehearsal, pre-wedding reception and wedding). The staff particularly the valet/bellmen were very helpful with us moving in and out of the hotel frequently. The room was spacious, clean and relatively quiet. They were attentive to our needs including bringing an iron and board when needed. It was a very nice stay!

Location is amazing Property is super clean. Unfortunately, although it’s clean- the room I was in was very tired looking, dated. Not what the online pics show. Everything has been repainted in a sloppy way. The old bathtub has dirty grouting and it also has been repainted. A bidet? Also be aware that there is a cleaning fee 30$ that is isn’t expressed (I didn’t see it) and parking is also 30$ a night. Little surprises like that make the stay underwhelming.

It was an awful 3 night stay . 1. Mold in shower . 2. No water pressure . 3 . Fire/smoke detector kept going off . We addressed the issue w management..they switched us to a different room …still not very clean MUSTY! Side note they only clean your room every 3rd day . So on our last day we requested our room cleaned front desk said NO ,after the hassle the 1st day REALLY, but then a cleaning lady showed up MIRACULOUSLY! Guess what fire / smoked detector went off on or last night At 2am on our last night in the new room ! No sleep ! It was a nightmare experience! We did try to get our money back to switch to a hotel down the road but they said NO ! Coconut grove is a special area but I’ll never EVER stray from major hotel chains were they will make a horrible situation RIGHT ! This place could care less ! Stay away FAR AWAY from the Mutiny ! Coming back from a vacation shouldn’t be exhausting! Horrible Horrible filthy place !

Wonderful balcony view of ocean and harbor in the corner units. Well worth the money. Roomy and comfortable. Decent beds. Nice to have a kitchenette. Main complaint in WIfi was horrible. Also even thought we arrived at 5 our room wasn’t ready.

Excellent location with walkable dining and shopping. Room has an excellent size but….A/C too noisy and thin windows don’t help with noisy neighborhood. Unfortunately, the staff is extremely arrogant. Additionally, there were charges when I checked out that no one mentioned to me when I checked in. I found the staff to be discourteous when I asked about these charges, and they explained that there is an additional fee for Expedia cleaning.

Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and had the basic amenities. The pullout couch was perfect for our child. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the restaurants, Starbucks and playground, all within a 2 minute walk. Cons: Once the luggage was loaded onto the cart, no one helped bring it into the lobby. They just left it there for us to deal with. There was some water with fruit in it but no cups. Which ended up being ok since it looked like it had been there for days. We arrived at 3:10pm and they were adamant about not letting us in the room before the 4pm check in time. Last but certainly not leader was the morning valet service. First day the attendant was sleeping in the backseat of a car in the valet circle. When he went to get our vehicle, someone else in the backseat began vomiting aggressively all over the ground. It was beyond disturbing and disgusting. Second morning the same attendant was sleeping this time in a minivan parked off to the side. We couldn’t find him for a while until the front desk called him and was able to wake him up. This experience definitely cast a bad light on the hotel and overall experience. It’s a shame because the hotel itself was decent for the price and in a great location. But I don’t think we’ll be staying here again.

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The Mutiny was conveniently located near all of the locations for the various wedding events (rehearsal, pre-wedding reception and wedding). The staff particularly the valet/bellmen were very helpful with us moving in and out of the hotel frequently. The room was spacious, clean and relatively quiet. They were attentive to our needs including bringing an iron and board when needed. It was a very nice stay!

Beautiful property, excellent location, good food and cocktails, comfortable accommodations. Felt luxurious. Complaints: Some kind of construction was happening on an upper floor or roof. They were lowering down debris just to the right of our balcony into a dumpster fully visible below. A small piece fell onto me at one point. Some bulbs missing. Could have called for them to be replaced but didn’t. If visiting Key Biscayne National Park, be aware this hotel is an hour from the Visitor’s Center even though it appears very close to the key. Coconut Grove is the real reason to stay here!

The perfect base for our family holiday. A quiet location within walking distance of the shops/restaurants of Coconut Grove and the Metrorail into central Miami. Pool was great as well.

It was in a great location and walkable to the Grove. Beautiful pool area and rooms were more like apartments/condo's than hotel rooms. Full kitchen, dining area, family room and separate bedroom area. We learned about the unique history behind the hotel, very interesting.

I was pleasantly surprised with the suite, and the view. The bed was very comfortable, the location is perfect for being close to restaurants and things to see. I felt at home.

We loved how close we were to everything. The staff was excellent. The pool area was extremely relaxing and loved how shady it was surrounded by plants.

Many bar and food items were out of stock. The order person should step up their game. Used coffee in room first day. Never restocked! Had to go looking for coffee. Thank God for Donna the bar tender

Ideal location, spacious rooms with kitchenettes and terraces, although a bit dated, it is also in line with the history of the property. The bar never seemed to be open in the evenings, but we were there in August, which is slow season.

Not worth the price. Bathtub didn’t drain when showering so standing in water as you shower. Bathroom sink so high had to stand on tippy toes to brush my teeth. (I’m 5’3” tall.) Hotel site says restaurant open 7 days for breakfast. Not true. Closed on Mondays. Limited toilet paper in room. Staff minimally helpful. For the price, stay elsewhere.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area was my favorite. The water was clear and warm. The gardens surrounding the pool were spectacular with several orchids in bloom. Table 14 restaurant had a good variety on the menu. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff was exceptionally accomodating and courteous The room and the bed were comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. The kitchen tile needs replacing as well as the carpet that was worn and had some stains.

We only stayed 1 night and had to hurry out in the morning, so we didn't have time to enjoy and explore the area. But the room was beautiful the view looking down on the pool area was beautiful. Breakfast at the Hotel restaurant was excellent, and the staff was happy and helpful.

The staff were friendly and polite. Valet was always available. Property was great, restaurant and bar onsite, but there are to many local restaurants to list with in walking distance. Great place for a weekend getaway or just unwinding after a long day of work. Room was quite and spacious.

A lovely spacious apartment: living room 2 TVs, bedroom and bathroom. Nice little restaurant/bar. However, I must mention the added fees (cleaning + resort). I could be wrong, but these addendums just appear to be a way to pad the wallets of the establishment.

Nice and very quiet hotel. Room is great for a family, 2 adults and 2 kids. Very close by to lots of restaurants. We enjoyed the heated pool and the jacuzzi. Coupons with credit for food and beverage not really interesting as you cannot use it for the daily specials and also not possible to combine with other coupons. Parking is very expensive at $30 per night so consider using a uber instead of renting a car

The hotel was great. The location, staff and valet were amazing. The TV in the bedroom didn’t work and they fixed it promptly. Our only complaint is that we requested a one bedroom suite with pullout couch as we were traveling with our daughter and the room they gave us did not have a pullout couch. We will definitely be back.

A one bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. I liked a fully furnished kitchen, including a washer and dryer. On the other side little noisy and the only restaurant on the property was closed. 8 min walking to the Coconut Grove.
