The front desk staff were fantastic. However, for a hotel as huge as it is, there is only one elevator working for a day. I had to wait 25 minutes to get to the first floor. The lobby, amenities, and ballrooms have been completely redone. However, it is very obvious that the rooms are stuck in the 80s. Musty smelling

Great hotel with An amazing location in the heart of plantation with super spacious rooms , plenty of restaurants around and occasional activities in the surrounding areas that make great entertainment especially with families. I really don’t like having to pay for parking staying here which is usually a big factor for me when considering a hotel , $10/day adds up quick and should be included for guests especially elite guests. The breakfast could be better as it is very basic but definitely not a complaint. The executive lounge is nothing to write home about here with the very basics served

the hotel is in a very nice location. Tons of things to do.During our stay the pool was out of service. We had to take the shuttle to the next sister hotel to use the pool. The rooms were clean, but could have been a bit cleaner. its a very outdated hotel. No Free breakfast! its a buffet style breakfast with the bare minimum for $18 per person. Spend your money else where for breakfast. The custumer service was grreat.

What I wasn't fond of is the walk from the parking facility to the hotel lobby. Also, in the shower enclosure there is only one 'ledge' for the soap, none for anything else, if you bring your own shampoo & conditioner. And the shower floor is a bit slippery. But, everything else was okay.

Weĺl maintained newer property near a large mall. Good restaurant in house with limited menu serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Parking ($24/day) in a garage used by other adjoining stores and restaurants. No direct access from garage to hotel and if its raining, you'll get wet going between the two.

The construction view from my room isn't appealing at all. :( Also, sadly, the pool has seen better days. There were cigarette butts in the pool and I think the pool needs to be replaced. The sauna was not operating and neither was the hot tub. Yikes. I like the rooms here because they are always clean and nice and air conditioned. The problem is the amenities are not what they appear. I'm a regular here because it's local to my home office, but I'm considering switching to another hotel. The gal at the front is always nice though. :)

Check in was complicated, only one person for around 10 costumers in line. The room was not clean, when we opened the sofa bed, the sheet were stained and full of hairs. The hotel facilities seem nice but these details affect the stay and experience.

Sooooo much mold. Always open the curtains and look at the window seal. You’ll see why you’re sneezing and coughing and can barely breathe. Management doesn’t care to help

The location of this hotel is outstanding—truly hard to beat. However, the rooms could use some updating, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. I found several hairs in the bathtub and bed, which suggested that the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned after the previous guest.

The rooms and hallways have a musty/moldy smell. The bathroom in our room had an awful smell. Our room wasn’t cleaned at all one of the days. We weren’t provided towels/wash cloths/ etc. The parking garage is not attached to the property which isn’t great for afternoon thunderstorms. Their are lots of great restaurants around the property that are walkable.

Booked this hotel for a last minute quick stay due to my flight being canceled. The lobby and front desk is amazing but the rooms are just outdated badly. Beds were not comfortable, had a very bad moldy smell also. Good hotel if you need to stay somewhere last minute like I did but i would shop around for others.

This hotel is very nice the 4th floor where my room was the carpet in the hall ways were very dirty not appealing for the kind price you paid the lobby is beautiful and the pool is very nice and clean the rooms are nice and the service was good

Good stay. Room was quite comfortable and very clean. Unfortunately the main lobby had a horrible smell during our entire stay (smelled like vomit, and other guests agreed). Front desk staff were generally friendly.

We reserved an upgraded room. When we walked in the room the bathroom shower was not cleaned. The plumbing was makingv aweful sounds and the refrigerator and microwave were not cleaned. They gave us another room and in that shower were someone’s toothbrush and toothpaste and a filthy shower floor. Then the next morning,, Christmas morning, at 6am the room above us construction work started. They moved us to another room, which still had plumbing problems and a dirty shower floor. There was also a big stain in the carpet as you entered. The hotel’s overall appearance is dingy and it’s definitely not as advertised.

Old and not properly maintained. Needs updating. The mattress was horrible and needed to be replaced. The room was dark. The sinks in our room made loud gurgling noises constantly. The fire alarm had these intense strobing lights that flashed all night long. There was one day where the fire alarm went off, I guess it was a false alarm, but they couldn’t get it turned off. Would absolutely NOT recommend.

It was wonderful, but the A/C in my room leaked on the floor, and wet sock when walking out of bed is the worst feeling. We did bring it to the attention of the front desk, so hopefully they've addressed it. I will definitely stay there again.

I have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed the property and the friendly staff which has not changed. But while they have improved the lobby, the rooms need updating and servicing. My room had a running toilet, shaky rails in the shower, wifi didn’t work for my entire visit, flooded parking area. Hopefully will get some TLC in the rooms soon.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and it seems like ever since Marriott took over it like a high class Day Inn. We ordered room service no one answered the phone and we got through we were on hold forever. We requested additional towels that never came. Receptionist were 4/5 but everything else was the pity’s. I always recommend this hotel to my friends and family but now I have to look at alternatives place to stay.

The hotel is in great shape and the redevelopment of the area with shops and restaurants is very nice, but service was disappointing. Front desk was ambivalent, no luggage carts , no bellmen , in the old days you could pull up drop your bags and have them sent to your room and when checking out they would get your bags and take them to the front and help load in card , not really a FULL service hotel

I found the hotel to be quiet and enjoyable. The maid service did a great job with cleaning and setting up the room on days and times requested. The employees greeted me whenever I passed them with kindness and appreciation. Checkout was thorough and an error charge was investigated and rectified before I left the hotel. I would highly recommend this establishment and will stay here in the future.

The hotel is a really nice hotel but there are some flaws but first I would like to thank two persons at front desk that always made each day felt great Yolanda & Grace thank you for the excitement you ladies had each time saw both of you. You two made my 11 night stay felt worth it thank again I am a guy that in a wheelchair and it was very nice that they had parking for wheelchair users that’s directly/near the entrance of the hotel. now the guys at the bar/starbucks need to show more hospitality in my opinion their character is a bit dull. To me the hotel is accessible but would have been better if they had at least 2 more inches added on to doorways and corners also my just my opinion. The room was a wheelchair accessible room but like I said they could at least add 2 inches on to each doorways and corners also the room I can hear noise from other rooms and it was annoying especially at night

Staff always make the difference at a business. Caroline, the gentleman at the breakfast buffet, and the gentleman performing outside check-in were all outstanding. My wife had contact with the cleaning crew and said they were very pleasant also. This was our 2nd stay at this location and we were again very happy with our choice. We spent time walking around the "neighborhood" this time and experiencing the businesses, shops, and restaurants. This location has developed nicely with a variety of eateries and other business.

Wendy, Lucas, Caroline and Mark were phenomenon! The true definition of guest service. They make guests waiting in line feel seen and lets them know, I’m coming to you as soon as I can! The hotel is beautiful, clean facilities, gorgeous room views , all around a great stay!

Arrived on April 20th, 2025 at or around 10 a, check in was a seamless process, however after checking discovered my card was charged $823. The error was acknowledged by the staff and they tried to assist by providing a letter to my bank. This was resolved after several hours Day 3 No Towels in room, call the front desk was placed on hold however call was never picked up or returned. Stopped by front desk to notify them, towels were in room upon my return later that evening. Room was cleaned but for some reason the bed was made up subpar, not sure why. Day 4 Returned to room and once again bed made up the same way, this time the extra pillow was on the bed which I didn't use. It appeared as though someone was laying in the bed and forgot to return the pillow back to the closet. I informed the front desk and provided the photos of the bed. A package I had been making inquiries about for 2 days and was told several times had not arrived was miraculously found behind the area where packages were kept For the inconvenience of the charges, I was given complimentary pass to the executive area but didn't use as on a few attempts the food wasn't ready or has already finished. I sent an email to the email provided by the front desk and included the pictures of the bed and have not received a response as yet. I am not a fussy person being in the hospitality business for over 20 years but this was not what I expected. i thought an response would have been received by now.

Very rude staff. Doing the basics of their job was such an inconvenience for them. The rooms are dated and very little electrical outlets (half didn’t work). The pillows are the mush pillows that you need 4 of to try and get any neck support. Parking is across the street in a garage.

Beautiful property, well.lit and well kept. Staff was nice. Biggest thing was Parking at night. When it rained, the car was in water in the parking garage. Plus, I saw no security. So walking from the parking garage to the hotel was a bit scary at night.

This hotel is in the perfect location for everything. So many restaurants nearby, so many things to do and just across the street is the Broward Mall. Less than 20 minute's to the airport and the cruise terminals. Staff was so helpful and accommodating.

It is located 15min far from the Fort Lauderdale airport, about 30min far from the Fort Lauderdale beaches, with a lot of spots available for parking. The hotel is surrounded by several good restaurants and it is walkabke, even during the night. The hotel was fantastic and rooms very big and clean, pool and gym as well. Staff was always nice and ready to help. Restaurant and room service top! We got for a couple of days the room cleaning not really efficient, but it seemed a solvable problem managed by the staff. Breakfast is quite expensive but there are at least 2 places where to have an excellent and more affordable breakfast nearby

Centrally located property with a number of eateries. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was that I booked with Expedia - under the option it said that the price included breakfast but when I arrived at checking I was told it was not included. I really liked this property. From the moment I checked in, Cassandra did her all to make things as comfortable and easy as possible. She especially, but the entire staff, are really exceptional and that alone made it a pleasure to stay there. The rooms are spacious (although a bit dated) and clean. The breakfast (all the food actually) was excellent. Pro tip: the avocado toast for breakfast is delicious. Serving Starbucks in the lobby from 6 am to 3 pm did not hurt my enjoyment either, nor did the modest but sufficient gym. I’ve always liked Sheraton as a brand and this hotel reminded me why: fair value, good on the things that matter, and solid customer service.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and professional. Big comfortable room. Pillows a little flat but better when doubled up. Property is looking a little dated but still clean and inviting. Breakfast buffet tasty and reasonably priced. Rooftop pool has a nice view of surrounding area. Gym is a little spartan but has enough equipment for a quick workout. Lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Overall, good value for money.
