Staff was great! Pool was nice! Beach area was clean! Pool/beach towels readily available! Chairs and cabanas on the beach area cost extra. Activities are available such as jet ski and banana boat, but cost extra. If you book this hotel through a travel sight as I did, I would call the hotel directly to get a run down of activities and costs, so you are able to budget accordingly. Also, consider which floor you stay on, the elevator went down due to a power surge and we had to walk 10 flights of stairs. The local peir is nice, but a long walk from the hotel! Shopping was not within walking distance. The area ride curcuit did not operate in the rain and it rained most our stay. Unless you paid uber/lyft/cab you were bound to the hotel. The hotel doesn't offer shuttle to anything. If you rent a vehicle, the parking is 34$/night. Just a few things to consider! I hope this helps.

What stood out was the service. Everyone was helpful and friendly: the front desk, food servers, cleaning crew, valet, everyone. The guys on the beach setting up lounge chairs, taking food and drink orders, were great. The hotel was clean and the room was clean. The fitness center was spacious and had everything you would need. The cons: valet is like $30/day, and there is a $35/day destination fee. I knew this when I booked but it’s still ridiculous. The breakfast is free but the eggs were runny, no waffles or pancakes, no potatoes. I had dinner the first night at the restaurant and the food was just ok. We ordered Uber eats the rest of the time and took advantage of the kitchen. I did order a piña colada that was delicious! The pool is medium sized and usually felt crowded. The jacuzzi was cold the two times we checked. We went for the beach, so none of this mattered to me and my teenage daughter. We walked to the pier and that is where we found one surf shop and ice cream. There were a few restaurants there too. We walked on the sand so it felt like 2 miles even though the map said 1 mile. It was a nice walk though. There is nothing close to the hotel except other hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If I take a trip with just my daughter, I would stay here again. If my husband and son were to go, I probably would not stay here because of the food and smaller pool area.

The pool area and beach area are rather small, but very nice. Still managed to have the feel of a resort. The staff was all very friendly and personable The only negative is that (and maybe this is on Expedia?) when I booked it made it look like there was a one time $35 resort fee, but that was applied every day, as well as $35 for parking every day. Expedia should have been more upfront showing the actual total for the whole day, including this daily $35 resort fee It is valet only. If you call down for your car ahead of time, the valet works pretty efficiently.

My room stunk like stale 4 day old cigarette smoke. The smell attached itself to all my clothes and lingered throughout the day. multiple people commented on how i smelt during the day also. cleary go the last resort garbage room.

I’ve never checked in and checked right out of a hotel quicker. The staff was nice upon entry but the the faculty was dirty and the room was different from the photos showed in ad. There was a mold smell coming from the HVAC unit in the room that was really the cherry on time.

Property needs updates which I think they've started. Room was fairly cleaned. There were dirty spots throughout. Old furniture and outdated rug and light fixtures were very evident. Although it has to be noted that it was very convenient having washer and dryer in the room. Also, full size fridge and small stive with available dishes and silverware were a big plus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Valet parking staff were always on point and very helpful. The staff is keeping this place alive.

A staff member entered without knocking, and another was asleep at the desk when we needed help. Basic amenities like the sink, TV, phone, and internet didn’t work properly. The kitchenette and washer/dryer in our suite was a game changer for us traveling as a family with children. We could relax and let the kids be kids and get dirty. We just threw the clothes in the wash at night. I never realized how much we stressed about how we packed and making sure we had clean clothes for the duration of our trips. Moving forward, I can’t imagine not having these in-room conveniences.

Hotel lobby is very nice but the room was dated and layout was very strange/awkward. Getting off the elevator was a shock as the outdoor walkways are very poorly maintained. Ok hotel but not worth the C$400 per night cost. I typically like residence inn hotels, but this one was a let down. I’ll not likely return as there are many new luxury hotels popping up in the area in the next few years.

Location right on the beach, resort quality swimming pool. Staff: at the front desk, serving the daily complimentary breakfast, valet parking the car, working at the pool, and on the beach were all very pleasant and helpful at all times. Stayed at this hotel during the week of 5/12-5/19/23. We were in a large one room suite on the 9th floor with 2 queen beds, a sleeper couch, full kitchen that included a dishwasher. Also had a stackable washer and dryer, large bathroom, and a side view balcony that looked out over the Atlantic Ocean and down along the beach. Easy to walk along the beach to find multiple restaurant options too. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Fort Lauderdale!

This was our second stay. Affordable, on the beach, ocean view, spacious room. Enjoyed having washer and dryer in our bathroom as well as a kitchenette and balcony. Foldout couch accommodated our 5th person well. Full, hot breakfast. On the city Circuit route to restaurants and local businesses. Quiet location and felt safe.

Third time we have stayed here. The service is impeccable. Especially Nicole at guest services and all the ladies in charge of breakfast each day. Only thing I would like to see done differently is for the pool and hot tub open later. Rooms are great. Beach is easily accessible and employees are warm and very friendly. Anytime your in Pompano Beach it's a must stay!

On our first day we woke the bed sheet had human feces on it. On our last day they closed the pool whole day, supposedly to be 2 hrs, wasted all our day waiting on it. Terrible customer service, manager even didn’t bother to give personal apologies.

AMAZING STAY! Every single member of the staff was super nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us. Special thanks to Daniella at the front desk! Honestly one of the best check in experiences we have had EVER and we have been lucky enough to been able to travel all around the world. Breakfast was great and convenient (and the staff in charge were super happy!), the room was spacious, the pool amazing and beach incredible. Couldn’t think of anything wrong with this property. Will definitely come back!

I was very excited about the hotel. When we got there we were welcomed and our room was ready even though it was very early. I can say the valet and the people at the reception were exceptional, but the manager didn’t do his work properly or professionally. Our first issue was that the room smelled really musty and the sofa and sheets had stains. The air conditioning was making a load noise all night and the room was not cool enough. Our other incident was at the beach. We were playing music and dancing and they came to make us turn it off because it was bothering two ladies. Even though everyone else around us was enjoying the music and having a great time like us as well. I think the manager should have looked at both sides before coming to us. The breakfast wasn’t good either. The eggs were undercooked and the sausage and bacon overcooked. The food at the pool was really good. But we always felt like management was

Staff was very attentive and friendly any time they saw guests. Always willing to help with anything we needed. My husband ended up hospitalized the day before our check out and front desk and grandma from the kitchen staff was very supportive to me. Breakfast was also very good.

We loved being close enough for a 20 minute walk to the center of town. Pier and shops were excellent. Great local coffee shops. We are one night at Oceanic, would give that a 3.5-4. We had dinner at Baresco, Mexican, 5 out of 5. The live music across the street was fun to listen. Only one elevator was working, we were on 4 so never took elevator down just did stairs but it could have been a lot more frustrating. Good breakfast items. Staff was very helpful and friendly and nice. We prefer self park but we walked most every day. Parking is scarce all through town. Kilwins ice cream was 5 for 5! Great family area, or for couples or retirees. Will visit area again.

Hotel was very roomy and daily cleaning services were great! However, the beach was not so great, too much seaweed and very small sloppy sand areas. The Pompano beach isn’t really what I would prefer. The Deerfield or Boca Raton beaches would be much better! I’d pay a little more and stay near those beaches for a week long family vacation. Also, you need a car there as you can’t really walk to various restaurants. Also, we loved shopping at the Sawgrass outlet and the Miami Design District.

The property was top-notch in terms of resort, beach, and hotel. It was super clean. The breakfast was included and it was delicious! Enjoyed the onsite bar/restaurant! Everyone was so pleasant! The room included a spotless, new kitchen area with stove top, full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher. The accommodations were excellent and the rooms are very big. Everything was great! The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grace and her staff did a wonderful job with breakfast. The only drawback was the fee of $32.00 a day for parking! I found that to be ridiculous!! Other than that our stay was great!

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff. The proximity to the beach was great. Breakfast was delicious. The fitness room was always open. The games were fun too—bags, foozball, jenga, connect 4, and ping pong on deck. The Sushi Lab had great food and staff.

My group had an amazing time staying at this property! The view was absolutely beautiful, everything was very clean, and the staff was amazing! You will always be greeted when walking by the front desk and other staff will check on you to make sure you have everything you need. Zoe’s beachside grill had amazing food and drinks. I would’ve ate there every single day if it were up to me. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to that area. Highly recommend!!!!!
