The channels suck. The tvs are older. The room kept getting hot so you had to keep the air on. The refrigerator never kept anything really cold. The breakfast is not good at all. They can do so much better. I love the pool and hot tube. I hate how the soap changed and no body wash.

Average hotel with no frills. Pool is very small but hot tub was nice. Staff was friendly. It was snowing when we arrived in the afternoon and no care had been done to the parking lot 18 hours later. It was very slippery. Only the 10 feet surrounding the entrance were shoveled/salted. Breakfast was decent. Great location.

Pictures online looked better. Up close, it's looking run down. Staff never at the desk when you need them, breakfast wasn't good (dried out eggs and sausage, bad fruit), the entire first floor smells from the over use of chemicals in the pool (that was so bad our eyes were burning after 5 minutes of being in the pool area), and the side exit door closest to our room was locked shut - major fire hazard. Wouldn't stay here again.

Stay away from this property, I am never going back. The a/c wasn’t working, the iron in my room didn’t work. I went down to do a key and the person they had at the front desk after requesting a new key directly infront of me had me waiting because she was doing whatever on Facebook I had to call out to her (very unprofessional). The hot tub does not work, one of the vending machine don’t work.

I absolutely loved the pool. It’s one of my kids favorite activities and the pool was well kept and clean . Also they had a hot tub! Very centrally located as well so you have easy access to stores and restaurants. The rooms were very well kept and the staff is excellent. Very helpful and very friendly.

The elevator hasn’t been serviced since 2021. Front door didn’t work properly. The smoking area had no where to throw butts. Carpets severely worn. Beds broken down. The pool and hot tub were nice.

Pool and hot tub worked well. Room had everything I ordered. Using Expedia was not a problem here - it was paid for because I used Expedia; however, they did print out the right amount for the room that was ordered. I appreciated that. I used Expedia for another room here in Indiana Beach - so far not a good experience. Will tell you more after our stay.

Check in was easy and quick. Hallway carpet was dirty, there were cobwebs on all the lights in the hallways, stairwells were dirty. Room was comfortable bathroom was small. Tub was leaking and toilet flushed very slow. This seems to be an old run down hotel that needs some cleaning and updates. Vending machine prices were quite high.

The room that me and my family were in was disgusting . I saw a bug crawling from under the bed so I decided to move the bed to kill it . Upon moving the bed I seen a whole bunch of food on the floor under both beds . That was very disgusting, and unsanitary .

Hotel was dirty. Supposed to be smoke free, but rooms smelled of smoke/cigarettes. Room doors were dirty of finger prints. Too many people smoking outside the hotel. Not a great place to stay. Had bad vibes about the environment of the hotel.

We got there around midnight with 2 kids very tired. Got to room and keys didnt work so back down to desk and had to wait 10 more min till they finished with another complaining customer. Back up to the room to put kids to bed and pull back covers and sheets are all wrinkled with many long black hairs on sheets. Called desk to complain and they asked if we wanted them to come change sheets! Of course we did. We waited another 25 min for someone to come change sheets and they brought disgusting stained sheets so had to wait till they went and got other sheets. As we went to sit on couch and wait we were disgusted to find someones toenails on couch. So disgusting! Front desk did finally change sheets and clean up toenails. Next day went to shower and long hairs all in bathtub so it was obviously not cleaned either. We would have left as soon as we saw sheets in beginning but all hotels in area were booked up for whole weekend. Needless to say we did not stay another night.

There was tons of water damage and mold all over the ceilings and walls, leaks in the shower, dirty bed sheets, faulty shower head, dirty toilet seat, no complimentary water and a rude front desk worker. The bathroom door didn't even shut, and I don't mean that it was hard to close, it was just completely misaligned. I was also locked out of my room on the second day. On the third day, the janitorial staff left the floor soaked after cleaning, someone could have easily slipped.

We found chips under the table. Drapes, sheets and lamp shade were all stained. I did inform the front desk when I checked out that the room needed a deep clean because of how dirty it was. The room had a strong musty smell to the point the employees had the window open when we checked in.

Immediately upon checking in we had trouble opening our door. The key card was unlocking the door mechanism, however the door was sticking. We had to have the front desk lady help us open our door numerous times. Eventually after unlocking the door several times it would finally open. Only one of our two room key cards actually worked, and then it took multiple attempts to get ut to work. The bathroom door handle fell off when we went to open the door from the inside. Other than that, the stay was great.

It was fine for a quick overnight- good value for price-,as we left early to continue traveling, but the room did not have blackout curtains to cover the window and there was a VERY bright street light which shown into our window all night. Also the nightstand drawer kept opening so I had to tie it shut.

Horrible experience. Checked into our “non-smoking” room which smelled so strongly of cigarettes and weed that we requested a new room. The next “non-smoking” room was even worse and also looked like a murder scene with red stains on the carpet, bed, and curtains. There were no other rooms available and no point in trying another one so we went across the street and spent another $200 on a decent room to sleep in. The man at the front desk did not seem surprised that the rooms were so gross. Don’t advertise non-smoking rooms if you know people are smoking in them and you aren’t defuming them. I have never stayed in a hotel where I had any complaints, don’t care about luxury but these rooms were disgusting and non-refundable of course. It was also my birthday so that was great. Don’t waste your money on this place

We stood here while doing a company picnic at Six Flags Great America. The hotel is not modern or new but the staff is so friendly and kind which makes it worth it. They have great customer service.

Staff has really poor communication skills. Might be a language barrier issue not really sure. Make sure you pay attention to how they use your card as mine got changed 3 extra times at front desk. Had multiple issues with them accepting payment n then questioning the card I'm using and essentially making me feel like I'm a criminal at their own front desk.

Where do I begin, front desk staff was extremely loud when I talked in joking around with each other. After a log day at work really didn’t like dealing with that. Sheets were disgusting, and stunk. There was a sticky substance all over the table in my room. One of there side doors didn’t work with the key cards so I got locked out. Won’t be staying here again.

I never stayed at the property. The front desk clerk told me I didn't have a reservation and that the hotel was completely booked. I ended up staying at a friend's for one night cause my reservation was not accepted.

Room was nice. We noticed a slight smell when we walked in, but it quickly wore off. The lampshade was very stained, but everything else was pristine. Breakfast was good, staff were so very polite. Couple minutes from the park. We would definitely come back.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. It is located in Gurnee Mills so access to shopping and food is great. Management is active and shows concern for customer. I will gladly stay here again.

Everything was so close. There is at least 15 to 20 restaurant’s within a mile of the hotel. Everything from McDonald’s to the Rainforest Cafe. Bass Pro is real close as well.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. Our family was spending the weekend at Six Flags, so we were not seeking luxury. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub are nice and have handicap accessibility. For folks looking to shop, it’s incredibly close to Gurnee Mills, so you could walk there. Overall, if you are simply looking for a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep and swim, it’s a nice place.

This was my second time staying at this property and it was excellent for the money. The staff were super friendly. It's also directly across the street from the mall and within walking distance to various restaurants. I will definitely be staying here again if I'm ever in town.

Both days we stayed, the breakfast ran out early and no one bothered to replace it. Our toilet seat was cracked. The manager just walked in our room with no knock or anything and said it was an accident. The pool and hot tub smelled really badly like mildew.

Always my number one spot in Gurnee, but the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen it in all my stay over the past 2-3 years. Either get rid of free breakfast or do better it was embarrassing both mornings

The channels suck. The tvs are older. The room kept getting hot so you had to keep the air on. The refrigerator never kept anything really cold. The breakfast is not good at all. They can do so much better. I love the pool and hot tube. I hate how the soap changed and no body wash.

Room was decent. Maintenance was not reachable to fix a problem, so they gave me another room the next day. Breakfast is till 9am. If you go after 8:30, you get scraps or have to ask for food, which they bring out a little just to get by with and sometimes cold because they hurried. Coffee is diluted. Property needs a good cleaning and maintenance.

Room was clean. Air conditioner barely worked. Had to turn it to 62° for the room to cool down. The breakfast area was a hot mess. Got there an hour before it ended and choices were limited. No one wiping down tables. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Check in and check out was great. Room was quiet.

I needed a place close to Six Flaga Great America. This hotel checked that box. Additionally, the complementary breakfast tasted great. The staff was friendly. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. I didn't use the gym, but I probably would've used it if my stay were longer. The gym included an exercise bike, treadmill, and weight-lifting area. The breakfast was not great, had waffles, plain cereal, had to wait for milk to get refill and no OJ. The pool was cold and one of the steps of the ladder to get in the pool was broke. Empty beer bottle left in fridge of our room.
