FairBridge Inn & Suites Fort Wayne

The bed and linens were clean. The bed was comfortable. There was only 1 cup of coffee available in the room for our two day stay with two people. There was dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom towels were stained and one washcloth has dirt on it. The complementary breakfast was a joke. It was only cereal oatmeal or waffles with no other options. Also only coffee. No juice.

Staff was rude, room was dirty, and the hotel was not secure

In the morning, I wonder if somehow I'd offended the person at the desk. Because there was NO WAY that the staff was unaware of the problem. The housekeeping staff would *have* to already be aware. And they weren't anywhere near half capacity, so there were plenty of other rooms they could have given me. So I felt as though I was being trolled. Referring to what I had in the morning as a "shower" is practically an exaggeration. I stood and cleaned myself under a faucet, it's true. But the water came out *below* the shower head, rather than out of it. So "water pressure" is out of the question. There are two things that every single person expect out of a hotel / motel stay: a bed and a shower. I only got 50% of what I came for. After I got dressed, I filmed the shower head to demonstrate how inoperative it was. I brought the video to the front desk, and asked for *some* money back. The manager said that he wasn't going to do it, I should have asked for a different room. I pointed out that I hadn't any idea that this would be a problem until I was already naked, so seeking assistance at that time was not possible. And that I'd post the video with the review if some reimbursement were not forthcoming. He shrugged and said that he would have to give everybody money back if he were to start now. ... Not *exactly* the defense he thinks he's making... (This system will not let me post either a video or a photo. So good luck I guess.)

Once I checked in had a lot of gnats or fruit flies in the room. So it was annoying to try and relax at the end of the day.

The pictures are misleading. Our room had stains all over the carpet and the bathroom floor boards looked like they were coming up and the shower head was broken. Honestly I’d save your money and sleep in your car. The beds aren’t very comfortable anyways so honestly you’d wake up feeling like you slept in your car anyways.
