Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Airport

Booked this place because the pool and hot tub. Pool door didn’t work, had sign it was out of order to enter I believe through the courtyard aka outside entrance. The hot tub is non existent it’s closed. They had it covered boarded up with a sitting area over top of it. Room was fine for passing through but the cost didn’t reflect the amenities it claimed to have.

I travel frequently from the Indianapolis airport. If I have an early flight I prefer to stay at a hotel close to the airport where I can leave my car for the duration of the trip and use an airport shuttle. I chose the Courtyard for my most recent trip.The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and just what you would expect from a Marriott. It went downhill with the shuttle. We used the hotel shuttle for an early morning flight. The shuttle driver was surly and unfriendly. Okay, it was 4am and not everyone is a morning person. We were out of the country for our trip and returned to the airport after a very long trip home, with flights totaling 22 hours, not including layover times. To say we were exhausted when we returned is an understatement. It was 12:30 am when I called the hotel to let them know we were ready to be picked up. The person I talked to was very friendly. After 50 minutes of waiting I called the hotel again and was assured that the shuttle was close and would be there in three minutes. Ten minutes later the same surly driver arrived that had taken us to the airport. By this time it's 1:30am and I'm beyond exhausted and just wanted to get home. I sarcastically said, "Heavy traffic?" He replied, "Well I had to have time to drive here, didn't I?". No apology for the long wait. We loaded most of our luggage ourselves. He didn't open our door for us, just got in his side and waited. Only.issue was we.picked this place for the pool which was broken down. That should be communicated to hotels.com by the hotel.when ir happens

Overall experience was great. The hotels upkeep was a little ran down. The hot tub was out of order and so were a few doors. Staff was friendly

My only complaint is the hot tub wasn’t working and that was one of the main reason why I did a staycation to relax swim and get in hot tub. Also, the bed was ok, I would definitely recommend the hotel look into getting new beds mine had a drip.

First I waited 1.5 hours for the shuttle from the airport. When I came to my room, it was probably 55 in there with the temp set at 70. Took my bed about an hour to get up to temp. Bistro was closed in the morning so no breakfast either. Very disappointed.

It started as I entered, handed my drivers license to the receptionist and proceeded to state, beauty is in the eye of the beholder…I know my drivers license picture is horrible but wow. Drove around back to enter by the room, emptied everything out of the vehicle and the keys don’t work. Loaded the vehicle back up and got new keys from another receptionist. We got to the room, which was clean and what we expected but the TV was on its last leg with most of the screen having only blue pigment. I tried to call multiple time but no one ever picked up so I gave up. I was planning on getting food in the morning but I never saw the Bistro open, came back mid day and still not open. Also on the second day we went to go swimming in the pool and the access door card reader was broken. Finally got in and the whirlpool was out of service and taped up with caution tape. Proceeded to join my daughter to go swimming and the pool was ice cold. We are lake swimmers so we are use to cold water temps but this was bad. We stayed maybe 5 minutes. We went to the race on Sunday came back packed up and checked out. The receptionist at checkout seemed disinterested and stated you’re checking out a day early? And never asked why or how was my stay. I switched my stay to his hotel because of the pool in case our races had got rained out but ended up paying more for a very subpar experience. Only stay here if you’re just looking for a clean bed.

We had a good stay. Nothing to complain about the hotel. We stayed for a soccer college showcase. There was a young boy baseball team staying also they kept knocking on our door and running. Which was annoying but nothing to do with the hotel it’s self. When I told the boys to stop I’d tell their parents/ or the hotel they knocked it off. The hot tub was down which my 16 year old was disappointed after playing soccer games. But it was clean. The bed was clean. Plus side there was no bugs! Ruby who checked us in was amazing and very kind.

The staff were all very pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. The food in the lobby bistro was unexpectedly very excellent. And it saved a few bucks taking their shuttle to the airport.

I only stayed two hours due to the smell (cigarette smoke). I asked for another room but they said they were full. Working to get a refund and cancelled my upcoming stay. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Main entrance under construction had to use the side door, which was locked. Bring the doorbell several times with no response. Finally, a customer open the door. Got to our room and it smelled musty and one bed smelled of urine and the air conditioner did not work. Front desk was nice and gave us a different room which only had one bed instead of two. Kids were slamming doors and running down the hallway during the later evening.

The hotel was nice, but my pull out bed had pieces of food in it, and the blanket for the bed was dirty.

The hotel is seriously outdated, but I knew that going in. We chose this hotel specifically because of the proximity of the hot tub to the pool. We wanted to have a clear view of our kids while my husband and I sat in the hot tub. The hot tub was closed so that was disappointing. Several outlets in the hotel room were broken with the electrical lines exposed.when we pulled out the couch bed the bed was stained all over with a dark color. The shower door would not stay closed. The next morning my husband took the kids to the pool and the entire glass door to the pool was broken off the hinges.

Clenliness of the property was acceptable. Location is near the airport, perhaps a 15 minute shuttle ride. The vicinity had an industrial type of a look, slight inner city like, an older neighborhood.

Quiet area which was nice. Needs some updating but did what we needed and provided a place to sleep.

Check in was easy and friendly. We had to hunt for a luggage cart but found one under a stairwell. The room #112 is in serious need of an update. The furniture was scratched and marred, the sofa looked like it was obtained from Goodwill, and the refrigerator in the room didn’t work. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and there appears to be a leak in the toilet in the room above because of a huge bubble in the ceiling. The bed was comfy. The hotel lobby looks nice, but when I see half of a sign lit up on the side of the building, that indicates to me they don’t really care. Very disappointing after reading such good reviews.

We booked a room through hotels.com. We had 3 adults and one big child. We booked a king room with a DOUBLE pull out couch bed. When we arrived, the pull out couch bed was NOT a double. It was a single ( 3 ft wide) . Not enough for 2 people. Also the mattress on it was about 2 inches thick and floppy. This was on top of metal wire springs. It was impossible for 2 or even one to sleep on.

The property was fine, but I was distressed that the phone in my room didn't work. The desk was notified, and I was assured that someone would come fix it, but no one did.

The room AC unit did not function correctly. During the night it kept resetting to ~78F. I finally had to turn it off and open the balcony door.

Beds were uncomfortable.

Dont eat at their lobby bistro unless you want to get rude and late service. The woman working was rude to every person my son and i saw go place orders including myself. After i was told my food would be 20 minutes, i checked in on it after 30 minutes only for her to tell me she hadnt gotten to my order yet when i asked for a time frame she told me when she gets to it with a rude tone. I said thats not an answer she proceeds to list off everything she still needs to do. Room was freezing and we had to get the heater fixed and their pool was closed and would be the whole weekend. We left after just one night.

Nice property. Seems clean. Convenient to the airport. No issues. Free shuttle to airport a real plus (although we didn't get to use it this time).

Excellent stay overall and a good value. Not really walkable to anything which is the only downside. They should have an ATM at the hotel so housecleaning and staff can be properly tipped.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay before catching an early morning flight. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the convenience of the airport shuttle and allowing us to park our car for the week until we returned, again taking the shuttle back from airport to hotel. Parking was cheaper than airport and will probably use that service again.

Great and friendly staff ... clean smell to the premises ... the best kitchen hotel food I've ever had and worth the price .. just a hop skip and a jump to downtown. If I come back -- would like to see the Indians Triple A team -- I will book here. Thank you.

Everyone is so welcoming. The food is amazing. Our room is beautiful. It’s my first time being in Indianapolis, and I’m glad that I got to spend it here. Wish I can stay longer if I didn’t have to go back to work Monday!!

I liked the stay but wasn't aware there was not a free breakfast which I would say was pretty disappointing I def think that should be an option I probabl6y would had stayed elsewhere had i known that

Paid for breakfast with purchase, then got charged for breakfast again in the morning. Front desk staff couldn’t figure out how to reverse charges.
