Hotel meet our needs. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Check in was quick and easy.

Nice and clean. The pool and hot tub could use updating!

Upstairs was under construction, although there was no improvement/change during our 4 days there. The hottub was dirty, various hair, lint, and other debris floating in the water. Barn doors on the bathrooms were something that our 3-rooms worth of guest could ALL agree are a terrible idea. On the PLUS side, the breakfast was fantastic, the service was great, and the hotel shuttle was super handy since we rented a car from somewhere not located at the airport. The bed was comfortable enough, it wasn't too noisy, and overall it was an ok stay.

The hotel transportation was horrible. They advised they’ll pick up in 20 mins and did not arrive until 50mins there after although it was 12mins drive and almost midnight so no traffic. The property was decent nothing to rave about. We were only overnighting.

Everything great, except one elevator out of order, other elevator slow as molasses

When we checked in, they said the pool closed early because kids were bringing drinks into the area and not listening. Then said it would open at 830am, which didn't happen either. So I booked this place for my kids for a pool and couldn't use it my entire stay. Also there was trash in the elevator that never got picked up, and all the trash cans downstairs were full. Just not kept up, and when we checked in they didn't tell us the hours of breakfast or anything about the wifi. Just not a great experience.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only issue was with the airport shuttle service. We waited 40 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport even though it is less than a ten minute drive.

Was older, but looks to be in the process of being updated. We were on the 3rd floor, and stepping off the elevator the floor was very noticeably bowed. Elevators could definitely use an overhaul, one was even out of order while we were there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hot tub was not working. Paint was peeling off in the pool.

I understand the property is in process of updating, per the staff, but the pool was cold and the hot tub was broken. The room we stayed in felt dirty and had staining in the tub. Is prefer not to stay here again.

I got in late on 6/25 and the woman at the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful with minor issues I had upon getting in my room. The shower was quite dirty but I just washed it myself because it wasn’t a major inconvenience. The ac kept shutting off in my room which would make it hot and stuffy but then I would just go swim or take a walk. Checkout is at 12pm but around 10:30am or so they started knocking on my door telling me it was time to check out. 3 different people came knocking on my door between 10:30 and about 11:15. Yes I was packed up and preparing to leave but I was rushed out.

Check in was simple and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Room is newly updated and very clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

Nice place. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and it was one of the best breakfast I’ve had in a while.

First thing to notice was that it looked like someone took a pry bar to our door by the lock area. The door across the hall had an inch gap on the bottom-side and also looked like someone used a pry bar. Sticky stuff all up and down the hall. There were pencil marks in the bathroom from hanging a mirror. Along with terrible attempted renovation... cracking calk, uneven floors that felt like it was layered over carpet. The fridge had mold in the filter. Disgusting dust on the bed frame, side tables, lamps and tv desk. Dirt, and crumbs all over the floor. I found hair in the bed and shower. Animal hair on the couch. There was only a half of a roll of toilet paper, no extra. The "barn style" bathroom door was hanging off the track and my husband put it back on. The backside of the door had visible, dirty hand marks. The pillows were the size of small decorative couch pillows. You get four squares for a king size bed. The pool and hot tub have paint chunks peeling. The hot tub had 2 jets and was luke warm. There were 2 towels that were about the size of kitchen towels to dry off with. I wasn't even trying to be picky because it was a quick, easy, last min reservation but it would have been nice to at least have a clean, stocked room. A school bus picked up kids in the morning. It seemed more of a place for locals to live than for traveling guests. The online pictures are deceiving. Don't visit any of the hotels near by either they all look sketchy.

I don't typically write negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience to help others make informed decisions about this hotel. It seems like the property may be undergoing renovations, as there are several areas that could use improvement. During my stay in a room on the second floor, I noticed that cleanliness was an issue. For instance, when I dropped something on the floor, I found a considerable amount of dust and debris near the beds and under the air conditioning unit, which suggests it may not have been thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, the HVAC vents could benefit from a deep clean. The lighting in the room was also less than ideal, featuring a harsh blue-white hue that made the space feel uninviting. A warmer color temperature for the bulbs would create a much cozier atmosphere. Moreover, the furniture appears quite dated and has clearly seen better days. It might be worth considering an update to enhance the overall aesthetic and comfort of the rooms. While my experience wasn't what I had hoped for, I believe there’s potential for this hotel to improve. There are likely other accommodations in the area that offer better value for a similar price. I wish the management all the best in their efforts to enhance the guest experience.

Whenever I visit Indianapolis, I always stay at this location. Friendly Staff, always willing to make your stay comfortable. Clean rooms and great breakfast!

Had dirty towel in room and room was dusty and smelled.

Our first room had a terrible odor in the bathroom. The door looked like an animal had dinner on it, rust around the bath tub, mold on the ceiling and when you sat down the toilet moved it wasn’t anchored down. A day into our stay my husband fell in the shower because it was so slippery with soap scum. His body went outside the shower and hit the toilet resulting in the toilet completely moving off the pipe. I went down to the front desk to inform them of the situation at 9am. We left for the day and returned at 7pm. Our room hadn’t been cleaned nor had the toilet been fixed. The 2nd shift front desk person had no idea of the situation. We move to another room. A little cleaner, the hallways didn’t smell like pot at least. Our last night of a 4 day stay and the people across from us have an argument at 1:30am. Screaming and banging on the door. This went on for over 30 minutes. Nothing was done. Todays age I’m not getting involved and risking my family’s safety and going to intervene myself. Now come 5:20am the fire alarm goes off, no apparent reason and scared the crap out of all of us. I went down to the front desk to make sure we were safe. I got a snotty we know I just talked to the fire department, we had no warning of it either and do not know why it happened. Followed by a snotty sorry. Went back our room and the argument was still going, at least inside the room but you could still hear them in the hallway. Overall terrible.

The hotel smells and looks dirty and the room was filthy

I had no issues at all with the staff or the service provided, but the rooms just weren't clean. I don't expect perfection, but I also don't expect to see stains or dirt on the walls, shower floors and doors. Even my kids noticed the shower wasn't clean.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. There have been some remodels to the rooms since the first time I stayed, which was nice. However, the rest of the hotel could use some serious improvements. One of the elevators was out of order, leaving only one working elevator. The ice machine on my floor was removed, so in order to get ice I had to go to the first floor, which meant waiting for the only operating elevator. When I was checking in, they told me they had second and third floor rooms available and asked which I preferred. I asked for the third floor so I wouldn't have to worry about anyone being above me, stomping around on the floor... I was put on the second floor, with very loud neighbors above me. The bed was hard, the pillows were even worse, and I haven't seen a television so small in a hotel room in a long time. I just feel like the overall quality does not justify the price of the rooms and I will definitely choose a different hotel next time I visit my mother-in-law in Indy.

The room smelled of smoke, the curtain fell off and there was a hole in the wall in the closet that was not fully sealed. Pillows were very small the size of couch coushins. I did like that the dog friendly rooms had no carpet and at another side of the hotel. Staff helped me check in, and were very friendly. The hallway smelled clean, however my main issue was with the room no the entire facility.

The mattress and pillows were awful. The A/C had leaked all over the floor and wasn't completely cleaned up. The toilet wasn't secured to the floor. The blinking light above the bed kept my husband awake. The refrigerator froze everything we put in it. The arm chair had a tear in the upholstery. Room was clean. Lights and TV worked. Doors locked. Coffee maker worked. Liked the shower - it and the shower head were huge! Check out was very friendly.

The room was huge. Short drive to downtown.

I secured the room, checked in and checked out online, so staff interaction was necessary. Bed was very comfortable and clean, the building has been updated, but the age shows through the interior halls, bath tiles, elevators. It was fine for the price.

The door to the room we were in was not hung properly. There was an inch gap at the top of the door one side. The bathroom door was a barn style door that did not stay close or latch in any way. The shower had glass doors. One was on backwards causing it slide open at random. The hotel is under construction so hopefully they will fix everything. The staff was very friendly and the room very clean.

Walls thin could hear everything going on

Stayed for 3 nights during busy all rooms sold out weekend (regional volleyball tournament at Indianapolis convention center). Room was very clean and updated. Everything was functioning well. Bit noisy at times but overall was good. Breakfast was good as well. I would visit again.

Very very loud thin walls and can hear every foot step above you

Very nice updated bathroom HOWEVER, the glass shower door would not stay closed. We had to put a paper plate between the doors to keep it closed. We told the lady at the front desk, but who knows if they will fix it

Had to walk over a broken liquor bottle to get to the front door. There was trash all over the front of the property. Only one person working the desk. Took 10 minutes just to check in. Would not recommend

I was mostly impressed with rhe staff from beginning to end gwen helped me get setlled inthen dodie was awesome for check out they went above and beyond and i wanted to be sure and let it be known that the customer service was more than delightful then the mngr and doddie

This my third year staying at this Wyndham and I am never sorry I came! The staff is by far the best, the housekeeping staff is very accommodating and the rooms are always clean and ready for check in. I've been in the hotel business for over 40 years and wish all of my rooms looked as good as those at Wingate by Wyndham. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Excellent customer service! King size bed very comfortable! Breakfast was very good! Highly recommend! Staff even helped with shuttle service to airport, they went out of their way to make it easy!

Employee at check in wasn’t very friendly

We got there early after an Amtrak trip where they forgot to turn the heat on the train. We ended up getting to the hotel, cold and hungry. Allie at the front desk arranged, with the general manager to let us check in early. She also arranged a ride for us to go to a restaurant she goes to regularly and, She, picked us up and brought us back. Do beyond the call of duty! The breakfast was amazing and the property is being renovated. Our room was spotless, comfortable and roomy! Thank you to all!

There is not ample parking for all the rooms of the hotel. We had to have make shift spots. Also there was only one person running requests to the rooms as well as checking guests in and answering the phone. Although the lady behind the desk was working really hard trying to do everything. Not much in the area and airport was a little loud but rooms and facility were clean. Breakfast was ok about average for hotels

I travel monthly to check on my mom and have had to stay in hotel nearby and since I travel alone, I want to be in area convenient and safe. This meets both.

Easy to access from interstate.

Nice people & rooms super clean… management responsive & very competent. Pool & hot tub rails wobbly & unsafe… Breakfast excellent… Area across street & adjoining property a little sketchy but nothing to be too concerned about.

Convenient to highway.

I stay here often because i travel out of town to visit my mom each month. This time their lot was full after MN. It's typically a challenge with parking with several surrounding hotels clustered together. I parked on street adjacent to Sam's club ( not the parking lot) with absolutely No signage regarding towing and was towed along with several other guests. My problem with hotel is they dont have any specific signage just 'dont park in Sam's parking lot' inside and no information at desk for contacting tow company. The staff was kind and allowed me to store my belongings until I returned after taking Lyft an hour plus later. Wingate do better for your guests!

Easy to find and close to our destination.

We stayed here on a Friday night after going to see someone perform at 8 seconds saloon, super close to that place and the airport, nice hotel would recommend

Good breakfast

The room was really spacious & clean. Service friendly. We couldnt sleep because it was a windy night, & there was a tree outside that was too close to the hotel/our room. It kept scraping the window screen & siding! Also breakfast was GROSS! COLD! The biscuits were cold. The gravy was cold. The eggs were cold!!! GROSS! Ended up toasting a bagel & put peanutbutter on. I would stay there again, just hope id get some sleep, & eat breakfast out.
