It is not posted until you arrive that the hotel is under construction and undergoing renovations. If you are planning on sleeping in - bring headphones and earplugs. Plan to have to circle the parking lot for parking if you are arriving after 7pm. Front Desk staff is limited and phones in the rooms do not ring to the front desk. The hotel insists that we are notified of the loud noises when booking the room. I did not see that when booking the room within hotels.com and they’re not sorry it wasn’t communicated until arrival and after the cancellation period has passed. The trip was the weekend of ST Pats Metairie Road Parade so all of the nearby hotels were booked. You will be awakened by concrete being jackhammered at 7:30/8:00 am and it’s ok for them because they posted a pardon our dust - just not our Jack hammer first thing in the morning

Liked spacious lobby/lounge/bistro table area. Lots of access to TV. Easy for large groups to ""hang out" "Bistro" menu limited and order at bar, then sit at tables for food brought out. QUIET and easygoing when we were there.

Property undergoing extensive renovations, and so no restaurant, gym, fitness center, pool, or lobby. This was not indicated clearly at time of booking. Despite having no restaurant, even the make shift coffee station requires prepayment (you’d think this would be complimentary given the state of the property). I was told my room would be cleaned daily at check in, and it has not been cleaned, despite two subsequent calls asking for service and housekeeping confirming it would be cleaned.

I wish I’d have known it was under construction so I could’ve chosen a different hotel. I’m sure it’s quite nice when not being worked on but the construction noise, dust, rerouting of the front lobby and relocation of the restaurant for a makeshift breakfast area was disappointing. They did their best to make it work but I’d rather not stay at a hotel while it is under construction and remodeling.

We recently spent 3 nights at Courtyard Mariott New Orleans Metairie. We were allowed early check-in, which was appreciated since we had 5:30 am flight from South Dakota. The room was clean, sofa bed comfortable for sitting, and a very comfy king size bed. The amenities were excellent. We especially appreciated hot water almost instantly. The Bistro served us breakfasts of eggs, French toast, yogurt and fruit...all served with expertise and smiles. The pool was delightful on a warm Louisiana morning, and we also enjoyed the courtyard. A fabulous weekend getaway..highly recommended.

I chose this property for its amenities like pool and gym; yet both are out of service. Then to make matters worse, the ice machine on our floor does not work as the shower has no hot water. Definitely won’t be staying here again. Looks like construction zone vs a relaxing vacation. Save your money and go elsewhere

I went there to see New Orleans and relax, however when we got there the room floor was dirty and sticky, at night when we tried to sleep kids were running, screaming and slamming doors. When we checked out we forgot some clothes in the drawer, we called soon after, they called us back after 2 or 3 hours saying there were no clothes!!!! Fishy !!!Since the room was not rented yet, we asked them to check with the cleaning lady, they said she was off and there was nothing in the lost and found conveniently. Never again if I can’t trust the hotel staff.

Hotel was very clean and staff was pleasant. My biggest complaint would probably be that the shower had absolutely no water pressure. Our room felt very humid, almost damp feeling. They do have a coffee shop but it isn’t open very long, just a few hours in the morning time.

This is another property that initially assigns you to the worst room in the hotel, off the lobby, next to the exercise room, sliding doors that open into a public courtyard—with lobby music. We were moved to a regular room on the 6th floor. The front desk acted surprised that were unhappy with Room 130.

My king bed sagged in the middle and thus I slept terribly. I asked the next day to get a new room and even though the new mattress was much better there was a cup of beer and cigarettes in the cup with a towel that they never picked up. There was not much around and definitely nothing in walking distance.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. The lighting in the room is dim, even with all the lamps on, but not a deal breaker. The problem was we had no hot water for our stay from Friday afternoon until we left Saturday around noon. Friday night they said it was fixed but it wasn’t. Instead of not charging us, they gave us 10,0000 points which equates to less than $50-not enough.

Internet services and computer systems were down when we checked in and the staff really hustled to get us into our rooms. My final bill had an incorrect bar charge and it took two calls to get it removed. Thankful it was. Staff was always responsive and helpful.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN……NOT EVEN TO SAVE MY LIFE! THE HOTEL WAS EXTREMELY NASTY, THERE WAS A STAIN ON THE SHEETS, AND THE FRONT DESK STAFF THAT I ENCOUNTERED WAS EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT WITH NO UNDERSTANDING! THEN THESE DUCKS CHARGED MY CARD AN EXTRA 250 DOLLARS FOR A SMOKING FEE WHEN NO ONE SMOKED IN THE ROOM! I DIDN’T FIND OUT THEY CHARGED ME THE SMOKING FEE UNTIL I WAS ALMOST BACK TO MY HOMETOWN(A WHOLE DIFFERENT STATE), AND WHEN I CALLED BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT I WAS CONSTANTLY TOLD THAT THEY WERE UNAVAILABLE. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR SINCE IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY THEM WHO DETERMINED THAT WE HAD SMOKED IN THE ROOM, AND WAS TOLD SHE WAS BUSY! THEN THE FRONT DESK IDIOT TOLD ME THAT THEY ALL WENT BACK UP TO THE ROOM, INCLUDING THE “ENGINEERING TEAM” AND THEY ALL DETERMINED THAT THE ROOM HAD MOST DEFINITELY BEEN SMOKED IN…….THE ROOM HAD NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN!!!! CLEARLY THE “ENGINEERING TEAM” IS JUST AS INCOMPETENT AS THE FRONT DESK STAFF AS WELL AS THE HOUSEKEEPING! IF WE SMOKED IN THE ROOM THEN WHY WOULD I BE TRIPPING OFF THE CHARGE KNOWING THAT I VIOLATED THE POLICY OF A NON-SMOKING ROOM???? ITS REALLY A GOOD THING THOUGH THAT I DIDN’T FIND OUT ABOUT THE CHARGE UNTIL I WAS TOO FAR AWAY TO TURN AROUND, BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM A REASON TO CHARGE ME A SMOKING FEE AND THEY WERE GOING TO NEED MORE THAN THEIR “ENGINEERING TEAM”! Staff was excellent. We had an issue with a toilet leaking. We were easily able to change rooms. Our room was very nice, probably fairly recently modernized. Very spacious which is a novelty and a treat.

Everything was good. We even took the opportunity to eat at the little grill and the food was pretty good. I was a little disheartened they were not open all day and had no option for lunch. Also, there was only one person there. She did amazing though while servicing 7 plus people alone. I had requested extra pillows on the reaervation and did not get those. When we got to the room we requested an extra blanket too but it took 3 times requesting and finally going to the desk to get it. The place was very clean and comfortable tho

We were there for 2 nights and housekeeping didn't come at all to clean the room. We didn't have clean towels or coffee restocked for the second morning. Also we weren't told where to get breakfast that we paid extra for so we weren't able to use that benefit. When we checked I. We were told about the coffee shop, but you had to pay for the coffee and the food. The room was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was great. Other than housekeeping and breakfast it wasn't bad.

the staff are wonderful but there were very few amenities, no shower cap, lotion. . the only small place for breakfast is overpriced for the location. it was understaffed, the wait long, yet the staff are very accommodating, i’ve had oatmeal at the Ritz Carlton for less. noticed the windows were filthy . overall an uncomfortable stay except for the pleasant and friendly staff.
