Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Unsanitary Room Conditions – Marriott Worcester (Grove Street) To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my stay at the Marriott Worcester on Grove Street. My daughter and I checked in around 10:00 PM after a long day of travel. We were in Worcester because my daughter is participating in a college showcase at Clark University, an important event that could impact her future. Instead of being able to rest and prepare for the next day, we were met with unacceptable room conditions. As a Marriott Bonvoy Business member for the past 13 years, I have always trusted Marriott to provide clean, comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below the standards I have come to expect. The room’s air conditioning unit was filled with an excessive amount of dust and debris. The attached photos show what came out of the unit when I cleaned it myself, as well as how filthy the towels became. The amount of dirt circulating through the room was alarming. I have asthma, and because of the poor air quality, I had to use my inhaler more than three times after checking into the room. Rather than sleeping, I found myself cleaning the room at 12:30 AM in an effort to reduce the dust and protect my health. To make matters worse, when I pulled out the sofa bed so my daughter could have the main bed before her showcase, there were no sheets provided. At that point, after midnight, it was incredibl
