The Bar Harbor Manor exceeded our expectations in every category!!! This beautifully manicured property in a quiet location with spacious parking and bike storage within walking distance to the waterfront action, restaurants and shopping was perfect for our needs. Our room in the hotel was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable pillows/bedding, lovely outdoor deck, and great AC! I slept like a baby!! The owners and staff (Constance, Christopher, and Penny) show they really care about the guest experience through all of their tailored concierge recommendations and the little extras they provide like all day coffee/tea/lemonade service; high quality grab and go breakfast and snack items; and my favorite a sanitary water bottle refill station! We look forward to staying with you again when visiting Bar Harbor!!!

Nice stay for a long weekend at the end of October. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, plenty of parking. Walking distance to the town center was pretty easy, less than half a mile to the middle of downtown. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a spacious outdoor seating area, but to be clear, that was not promised or promoted. Note when planning, some businesses close up in early October so plan accordingly. All in all, a nice hotel in a great Maine seaside town!

Love the staff- helpful, friendly and so efficient The room was clean and spacious and quiet but you do hear footsteps from the top floor walking around. I think I would have preferred to be in the main building vs the annex building across. Very narrow stair case going up. But, overall it's nice.

I like the assigned parking next to each room and that this hotel isn’t too close to the shopping streets. Conveniently just a 10 minute walk to Main St, this place gives the ultimate quiet comfort after a long day of hiking/sightseeing. Book early because they sell out fast!!

Plenty of parking available. Room was very nice/elegant. I will definitely stay here again when I return. We enjoyed the balcony each afternoon - the weather was perfect. Also, we could walk to the restaurants, shops, and Acadia National Park is only a short drive away.

I had an excellent stay at Bar Harbor Manor. Room, hallways, and common areas were all spotless. Staff member at check-in/out was friendly and very welcoming to myself and other guests. (I wish I’d gotten his name!) I checked out quite early and was offered snacks for the drive home. Genuinely just a very nice man. Overall, a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend Bar Harbor Manor and would not hesitate to stay with them again!

Being the off season, it was initially confusing on where to go to check in. There is no office or lobby. Once I found a door with a sign on it to call a number to check in, Brandon was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The room was very spacious and had a door to a balcony. Loved that for fresh air. It would probably be really nice on the summer. The entrance way to our building was spotless. The room was mostly clean. It didn't look like the vacuuming was very thorough as there was white lint scattered throughout the entire room. The bathroom was clean except a few spots of mildew in the grout of the shower. Otherwise, the tub and everything else was very clean. The room was stocked well with personal care items, coffee, microwave and a good sized refrigerator. The bed was quite firm.

Our room smelled like sewer off and on and there were no rooms to move us to. All they could do was give us a deodorizer to spray which helped somewhat. They didn’t offer any discount either.

Perfect place for our overnight in Bar Harbor! This was maybe 5-10 min walk to downtown which was wonderful way to unwind after dinner, etc. Room was clean, spacious & the bed was super comfortable.

Great staff, very nice area and very pretty hotel. Room was clean with blackout curtains and bed was comfy. The only part that was a little weird was the set up of the bathroom. There was a big step from sink area to toilet/shower area and the shower was extremely small. Other than that, everything was great!

Hotel is a nice place to stay! Walking distance to just about everything in Bar Harbor! Two things….the sheets on the bed were rough and the shower was the smallest shower I have ever used! The owner and his employees were amazing

Service was excellent. Had chicken noodle soup in lobby around 5:00 pm, along with cookies and coffee. Very nice touch. Made excellent dinner recommendations that weee spot on. Even mailed a post card for us. Good location for walking the entire downtown.

Our stay was amazing! Christopher and Constance especially were very kind, helpful, and had wonderful recommendations. One time, Chris even called up the restaurant we were going to and made us a reservation on the spot. Outstanding customer service. Very clean rooms and facilities. Excellent location just a short walk away from the main shopping street. Would 100% recommend and come back.

The staff!! I hope the owners know what they have by having Christopher there! The cleaning staff stopped and said hi and asked if the room needed anything. Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!

Christopher and Constance at Bar Harbor Manor made an amazing stay even better! Not only were the room and facilities clean and beautiful, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Christopher gave us dinner recommendations every single night based on what we were in the mood for and Constance gave us an amazing hiking route tailored to our interests and hiking ability every morning! Will absolutely be returning to this hotel every time I come to Acadia

I chose Bar Harbor Manor based on reviews and my husband and I were very happy with my choice. Constance checked us in this past Tuesday and was so very friendly and helpful. She helped me plan the things I had asked about Acadia and Bar Harbor and gave us maps with it all marked out. Then we met Chris shortly after and he went and got us yogurt and granola bars when I told him we would be leaving our room at 4:30am for sunrise the next morning. We were so grateful to him the next morning while we were up on the summit eating those treats. Our mattress was the most comfortable out of the 3 hotels we stayed at this past week. Slept like babies. Our room and bathroom were very roomie and had everything we needed. Grab and go breakfast in lobby with muffins, fruit, yogurt,etc., coffee all day (including flavored syrups/creamers etc) and chocolate chip cookies! The hotel is a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. We ate at two restaurants that Chris and Constance recommended and they were both very good. We felt very much at home at the manor and would definitely stay here again. They were so, so nice. We Can’t wait to return!

Grab and go breakfast in lobby with muffins, fruit, yogurt,etc., coffee all day (including flavored syrups/creamers etc) and chocolate chip cookies! The hotel is a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. We ate at two restaurants that Chris and Constance recommended and they were both very good. We felt very much at home at the manor and would definitely stay here again. They were so, so nice. We Can’t wait to return!

This is rare—it seldom happens. This was perfect lodging in terms of everything that you are looking for in mid-price hotels. Also, Chris, the management staff member, was very welcoming and helpful. He also kindly upgraded us from Queen to King accommodation. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends and fellow travellers. Great location - on a quiet street and gets you away from the business of the main strip - but so close to everything. Easy access to Acadia National Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially hiking suggestions. Highly recommend this place.

This property was perfect! Plenty of parking and easy to walk into Bar Harbor for shopping and eating. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff were so kind! They gave us great recommendations for meals. The lobby also had coffee, quick breakfast items, and cookies in the evening.

Had an amazing two-night stay. Everything was exceptional including the front desk staff. Short walk into town, fresh baked muffins in the morning, and they even helped us print our pass for Acadia. Definitely will be coming back!

The Bar Harbor Manor exceeded our expectations in every category!!! This beautifully manicured property in a quiet location with spacious parking and bike storage within walking distance to the waterfront action, restaurants and shopping was perfect for our needs. Our room in the hotel was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable pillows/bedding, lovely outdoor deck, and great AC! I slept like a baby!! Our suite was clean. It was somewhat dated. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Bed was comfy. We did have a flight of steps to get to our suite. No elevator. I did notice staff helping with bags up stairs. Parking was limited one evening when we arrived back late. We were there Saturday night and Sunday night. Location is very good for downtown area.
