Other than no elevator to the second floor and the hot tub out of service, everything was great!!

The ice machine was out of order. The hot tub was out of order.

The staff was great. The rooms are a bit dated. The business center was not functional, so I had to have my daughter print out my boarding pass and parking coupon for Seattle since the front desk couldn't figure out how I could email them and print my documents there. The pool was closed 2 of the 3 days I was there and the hot tub was closed the entire time. The card reader for the outside door by my room didn't work so I had to commute the entire distance of the hotel to get to my car.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby and room was very clean. Property was in need of updates and repairs. Sink drained very slowly. Bathroom door would not latch closed. Paint and tiles in the pool area were chipped. Hot tub smelled a little musty.

The staff was super friendly and professional, the check in process was easy. The pool was decent sized and the jacuzzi was hot and functioning. However, the hotel is a little outdated, could use some modernization for sure. My room, and after talking to another guest, apparently their room as well, always had a cigarette smell. That never went away during our stay.

not good at all upon arrival the room wasn't ready and I arrived at 7 pm ????? since when does check inn happen at 7 then i was told give them 10 min and it would be done After checking in and using our tub that we have in our room the hot tub it was disgusting had a huge black ring around it all the facing on our tables is off when I went into the pool of room I got into the hot tub smelled like straight up mold there was shavings of paint on the bottom of the hot tub that you could feel in dirt the pants peeling off the pool there's no ventilation it smelled like straight up mold in there we used to come here all the time this never looked like it does now the breakfast used to be amazing used to have biscuits and gravy eggs bacon it used to have strawberries for your waffles now you're lucky to get syrup with your waffles and you get cereal definitely not to stay I was expecting when I used to stay here all the time when asked if icould use the computer business center the desk lady didnt knw the password whomever this new owner is only cares about money and aint putting it in to hotel To make matters worse 10:00 o'clock at night they were still doing housekeeping with children running around with them doing the housekeeping their children were with them while they were cleaning at 10:00 o'clock at night where do they do that at

Polite staff, basic clean rooms, hot tub was out of order but other than that great place to stay for a night

Property is nice. Breakfast is nice. There is no elevator and the staff did not accommodate for the elderly, still put us in the 2nd floor. Hot tub is not functional. Pool is not clean. Pool shower is broken.

The Hotel is what you expect for a “pet Friendly” hotel. The hotel was not as dirty as some reviews made it out to be. It is a pet friendly motel, so there are things that are noticeable compared to a hotel that doesn’t allow pets. I rented two rooms. There was 5 of us with one dog. One room seemed cleaner than the other ( one smelled like a pet deodorizer was used in it), both rooms had clean sheets and clean bedding. My room did have a dirty hand towel in it, but that was all. The hot tub was down for maintenance, and the pool was particularly cloudy. I am not sure if that was because of the fact that the water was warm or if it was because the filter was not operating properly. Either way, I did not go in because I was unsure if it was safe, because of the hot tub, not working. Unfortunately, that was one of the reasons why I booked that hotel, was because there was a pool and a hot tub. We did not find out that the hot tub was not working until after we checked in, because I might have decided not to stay there. I don’t get many days off, and I would like to spend it doing the things I would like to do and unfortunately, I was not able to do that at this hotel. Overall, for the price, the hotel was OK.

Run down location, looked scary and I didn’t check in because I would not take my 2 small kids there. Looked in and the pool was green and caution tape all around.

The room was musty, mildew and every thing was damp, shower curtain was too small for the shower and cleanliness could have been much better, cobwebs around curtains which I cleaned off. We had a dog and there were ants all over his food and in my suitcase when I arrived at my home. I would not recommend this place.

We will not return. Floors were very dirty (see attached pic). There were clothes in the closet from a previous guest. There was no hot water the evening when we arrived. There was a large yellow stain on our bedding. We were very unhappy

The carpet was torn, the toilet seat was broken, both sides of the shower curtain rail were coming out of the wall, there was standing water in the bathroom, the spa tub leaked to the carpet, the sheets were stained and there were hairs on them. There were two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths and you could see where the last person spilled something on the side table and it wasn't cleaned up. When I called for assistance I was told maintenance had left for the day. I asked for a screwdriver and I'd fix it myself, he came up with towels and tightened the toilet seat. We will not be back or recommend.

I had to chase down the towel cart to get new towels and take out my dirties. I had to pull my own trash and put in some grocery bags I had as new bags since they didn't come in to pull that either. The toilets stopped up in both my room and my kids room and they brought down a plunger and dropped it off. We had to plunge our own toilets in both. The office chair I had in my room had a broken back on it so it laid way back so I couldn't use it. I asked in the morning at the front desk and she told me she would look into it and did nothing. Finally at noon I drug the chair all they way down there to get show them and get a new one. She then tried to give me a hard back chair like you have a dining room tables. I explained I needed an office chair as I could adjust it and was working from there for the week. I then had to tell her lets grab the one from my old room I got moved from because the ceiling was leaking. Otherwise, she had no idea what to do. It felt more like I was a maintenance person than a guest. To make things better the only drink vending machine and the hot tub both broke while I was there. This place clearly does not believe in Maintenace as you can see damage on all the walls as well. I will not be going back for my next time in MI.

Couldn’t see bottom of pool, pool door didn’t even work. Room had dust on table and chairs, toilet paper dispenser was ripped off the wall . I went to explain it to the front person and they said no one could do anything to help.

The parking was good. We stayed here a few years ago and were pleased then but it has gone downhill. Breakfast had no fruit, no yogurt, no eggs. Just had waffles, bagels and cereal. Room had cobwebs by ceiling and red stains on the carpet (pizza sauce or blood?). Pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

Room had horrible smell and also not very clean. Halls had intense smell of air freshener. Definitely way over priced for what condition the hotel is in. Staff however was very friendly but it doesn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness, poor breakfast, and run down hotel.

To start with, I had a hard time finding the place. The sign to turn at was barely visible. Exterior didn’t look like the picture online. Looked unkept. I was rudely spoken to at front desk. NO ELEVATOR. Had to pull luggage up stairs. I used the do not disturb sign, removed it when I left for the day yet no one ever entered the room to clean in 4 days. I am glad I brought Clorox wipes as my toilet seat was soiled. Had to clean it. I won’t be staying there again or recommending it

Very peaceful. The clerk put us in a room next to the door to make it convenient for us.

You get what you pay for; expect a 2 star hotel. Came here for a good night's sleep before a sports tournament and we did not get that. There was a family running through the halls yelling after quiet hours and even shook our door at one point. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable either. Overall, i can't be upset considering the cost.

The location is great for the activities we had planned. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The property does show dating and repairs are needed (no toilet paper holder in our bathroom).

Excellent staff service. They were friendly, quick and very helpful. Pet friendly. Convenient location near highway but not too close for noise. Needs improvement: the room had a musky odor and needed a new carpet. Also the room did not have translucent curtains. It only had drapes making privacy difficult during the day, when we wanted natural light.

Upon arrival, the air conditioning in part of the suite we booked wasn’t working. They did give a smaller room but the light over sink wasn’t working. We told this to desk staff, which he insisted we go with him to put new bulb in. This did not fix the problem. The continental breakfast was poorly stocked. Waffles was pretty much the only option daily. This was not mixed well-super lumpy and runny. The coffee creamer was out. There’s a large grocery store just down the road but they failed to have initiative to go and get some Instead. They put a sign out of order. We were surprised at how sound proof the room was- thumbs up for that. Bathroom faucet was very loose. When we checked out, desk staff couldn’t provide receipt to show we got a discount for the smaller room. hence we had to leave without finding out for sure how much they charged us until we returned home. Would not recommend this hotel. Sorry

The bed was not comfortable, I Believe it is time to replace, You can fill the pockets as I laid in it and tossed through the night, although room was clean and room service did very good job.

Clean windows. Update cabinets, falling apart inside. Lacked pride of appearance of room. Tub looked worn out. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel was clean and organized. The 1st night there I enjoyed my stay but on my second day there when I walked to the receptionist she was rude an arrogant as if she didn’t want to speak to us. Made us all feel uncomfortable and we ended up leaving half way through our stay.

The staff was great our first room had a leak in the bathroom and they gave us a new room but that room also had a problem with the bathroom so he moved us again, third room was the charm no problems, and we had a very nice weekend.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I booked in advance a few hours before and had paid with my debit card and when I got there they didn't have the 2 bed Queen room I originally had paid for all they had was a King hot tub suite. Before I could even say or ask anything the gentleman at the front desk apologized for the inconvenience and gave me the upgraded more expensive room for the same price. That was honestly hands down the absolute best experience I've ever had at any hotel or motel. And in the morning the staff was very generous and understanding when my daughter and I overslept and were more than an hour late checking out. Definitely giving a 5 star rating!! This particular AmericInn by Wyndham will be the only place I stay from now on for sure!! Absolute rock stars they are!!

I liked it being out of conjested city proximity

Older, revamped hotel. Away from city. But close to shopping and attractions. Clean Quiet, well run.

Location convenient to get to.

Its a quiet place right off the interstate, a little dated, but not bad at all. I was thrown off by the luggage carts. We had a lot of bags for the family for 3 nights, but after we loaded the carts as the counter folks watched, right after checking in...and told that our rooms were on the 2nd floor, I had to ask where the elevator was, only to find that there isn't one. Not a big deal, but if you see people loading up and you know they are upstairs, you might want to tell them. Our room was clean, it was a suite with a king bed. The jacoozie tub was clean. I walked around without shoes and wasnt worried. I only had mild discomfort for the temperature because the air doesnt circulate too well in that particular room. Solved it by buying a box fan that I needed anyway. The bed was a bit stiff for me, but I'm spoiled with a pillow top at home lol. Breakfast is what youd expect. Filled a hole, and got you moving. Our stay was good enough. It served its purpose and I feel it was fairly priced.

Warm welcome by friendly staff. Excellent location near shopping in area. Had maps in lobby of the area.

Easy access from expressway

We absolutely love staying here. The staff treats you like family and always have a smile on their face. The area the hotel is in is quiet and easy on and off the express way bonus you can't hear the traffic on the express way. They have many ice machines and vending machines if you're craving a snack. They are located near many wonderful restaurants as well.

It was a good location. Decent price.

Perfectly acceptable, mid grade chain hotel, with staff that clearly care to make it a clean and overall pleasant experience. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean, and the price was right. Totally unassuming unpretentious area without very much immediately nearby, but it was totally fine. Only negative critique was that the breakfast spread was probably the worst I’ve ever seen at any hotel. There was practically nothing to eat, and certainly nothing from my health perspective, other than an orange.

Not a FULL CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!!! I wasnt exactly expecting a 5 star breakfast. What was offered Waffles, limited cereal. Plain bagel and cereal bars ... ABSOLUTELY NO CREAM FOR COFFEE !! And I had to keep going to checkin for my card to be activated. Fresh linen was also limited. My son was transitioning to a college in this area . Coming from Florida it was a different experience in hospitality.

Broken hot tub. Poor breakfasy and seating.

The rooms were very clean but did need a paint refresh. Ive stayed here before and liked it so returned. However, this time I found a musty oder and after 2 days stay the room still wasnt cleaned. We returned too late to ask Monday night, as we were leaving in the morning. We booked a Friday to Tuesday and had to ask for towels on the Monday night. Not sure I would stay a 3rd time. Staff are very friendly and accommodating if asked. The pool was lovely and clean. Breakfast was alright would suggest having water for an optional drink, and hard boiled eggs. The waffle machine is always a big hit.

Breakfast bar was a joke. Only had toast and peanut butter. Cereal all the same kind. No muffins or danish. Only had waffles. No eggs or other food to offer. Bsthroom tiny. shower curtain did not go into tub. Had water all over floor. Room look dingy

Overall a pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. The young lady that checked me in was very polite and welcoming. Water pressure was not great for some reason and I was unhappy. I could not lower the temperature for the air conditioning. Other than that though I had no complaints. I'd stay again if in the area.
