The room I reserved and paid for wasn’t available (and the hotel was definitely NOT busy). The room was filthy and in desperate need of repair. Woke up to ants crawling on the entertainment center. Take a look at the photos - not at all what was represented by Hotels.com.

My experience at Travelodge was unacceptable from both a cleanliness and safety standpoint. Upon arrival, there was confusion locating my reservation. The room was unsanitary, with hair in the bathtub. They moved me to a different room with a strong smoke odor. Then cigarette smoke started coming through the bathroom vent, they did nothing for me. In the common areas, there was an active ceiling leak with no warning signage, along with unmarked, unsecured scaffolding accessible to guests—both clear safety hazards. The pool and hot tub were also locked during posted operating hours. The lobby was unheated and very cold. The staff was not welcoming at all. During my stay, I was confronted by the owner’s dog, which aggressively cornered me and barked, creating an unsafe environment. I was scared the dog was going to bite me. They did not apologize or say anything, she just got the dog behind the front desk. When I requested to check out early due to these issues, I was told it was up to Expedia. This was inaccurate, as the decision ultimately rested with the hotel. The owner refused to allow me to check out early without being charged for both nights. After a miserable night’s sleep, I left the next morning, paying for a second night I did not stay, and had to book and pay for another hotel an elsewhere. Overall, this property is not being maintained to a safe or acceptable standard for guests. It should not be open or allowed to house the public.

Building and room were extremely cold took all night to warm up the room

Very outdated and room was unsafe! I had my 4 year old daughter with downsyndrome and the second door in our room led to the pool and there was no chaim lock so she could just open the door and take off! I had to put a chair in front of it! Also no heat in the hallways and no breakfast
