Room & entire hotel were very clean and well maintained. The staff was great, offering help before being asked. We would stay here again.

Excellent hotel, and at a great price. The pool is spotless and warm, and open until 11. Fitness center well-setup and available. Bbreakfast was among the best we have had at a motel recently. The English of some of the staff gave me a little trouble understanding, but no real problems. I don’t get to Grand Rapids a lot, but will be glad to stay here when i do.

Fire alarms went off twice in the middle of the night. Staff seemed overworked, distracted, and generally seemed not to care. Room was dusty, television did not work, cracked tiles in bathroom, missing grout. I want to say something good, but I am still so angry about the fire alarms and messed up television that I fear my objectivity is being clouded. I guess the hallways were clean and didn’t smell bad like a lot of hotels, except for the recreational smoke. I am beginning to question the integrity and accuracy of the Hotels.com rating system. It has been a trend lately that I feel I have been mislead. I have been using Hotels.com for a long as I can remember booking hotels, but that may be about to change.

The hotel was hard to find because it's not directly on the arterial street and not clearly visible, especially if arriving at night. In other respects, however, it's in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. The room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a coffee maker and small refrigerator. Staff was very courteous and the breakfast room attendant kept the serving area tidy and well stocked.
