Horrible place. Front desk person was rude. There was no hot water. The hallway smelled like marijuna. The outlets did not work. The sink would not shut off totally. I left after one day. When I called Expedia, the front desk lied and said I was told about no hot water and agreed. This was a total lie. I never would have checked in with no hot water. I left after 1 night. Then I was told by Expedia the front desk said I completed my stay. Yet another lie.I will never book again with a Clarion Hotel.

Me and my daughter came for a cheer competition. Checked in Friday June 13 at 430pm. First they told me at check in that they were completely booked and were not able to put us near our other cheer friends. But when I went online said there was still 8 rooms available. And then after I was completely checked in they said the pool wasn’t even open. Very disappointed that I received zero notification about this. Especially when online it says that it opened in may…… the rooms were also very dirty and the air in my room barely worked. I payed 130 for my room but when I was online the same day it was only 72 for the same room and same day. Hallways also smelt horrible of weed. Definitely won’t be back here and will not recommend to anyone else.

Looks great from the front, but the back is littered with trash! We have not had hot water for 3 of 5 days. The tv channel selection is horrible so stream on your phone or tablet. Sorry, you can’t because the Wi-Fi is horrible! At least the rooms are nice, but your neighbors that live there might keep you up all night as all room doors slam shut, loudly. But, they don’t charge a deposit and the pool is clean and nice until the residents get in. Oh, your room key might not always work, staff speaks Spanish and no ayuda. Also, tthe front desk never answers the phone, and the breakfast consists of coffee so weak it looks like herbal tea; the breakfast meat is steamed so it’s grey; hours are at the motel’s discretion; the “cook” can’t cook; and they run out of syrup, etc consistently. How did this place become a Choice hotel?! I can run it better and with no experience!

Room wasn’t ready when we got there. Got a new room but the AC wasn’t working. Couldn’t get another room due to being sold out. Card reader wasn’t working, so had to go to front desk to ask one of the staff to open the door every time!

Don't believe the pictures as they were taken many years ago. Everything was nasty! You can't smoke cigarettes in the room but by the smell of the hallway Marijuana is allowed. Had to turn keycards in twice because they wouldn't unlock the door and even when they worked for the room didn't work for the outside doors to get in. The top sheet on the bed was sideways and the bottom wasn't tucked. The sofa sleeper was a complete joke. One arm of the couch was broken off so when you pulled it out it was about as unlevel as it could be. The room rates were double what they normally are because there was so much going on in GR but I wish I would've spent the money to stay elsewhere.

They had an ok breakfast but in my room the outlet didn’t work right and we had to get our room keys redone every day. They offered laundry but not laundry soap. One of the doors to come in only worked have of the time. I will not be staying there again.

All the reviews are correct. People coming and going all night, dirty, electric outlets loose, smoking in the lobby. Got stuck here due to non refundable. Expedia should be ashamed to have this property on their site!

The smells were awful: our room AND the hallways. Cigarette and marijuana smells everywhere. The down stores door to the parking lot was propped open. The toilet seat had something sticky and dark on it and there was no hand soap in our bathroom. A man used terrible and inappropriate language with my son in the elevator. We had to book elsewhere and no one is offering a refund — Expedia and the hotel couldn’t help.

State of property does not do justice to the rating showing on Expedia. It should be rated less than 2, not an average of 6. It is a rundown property that smells, is dirty. Corridors smell of weed being smoked. We had to change 3 rooms after checking in just to ensure we had running water and a toilet that flushes properly. And still not one charging port in the wall worked. Had to charge our devices in car for 2 days. People hanging around outside property looked to be high.

Before even parking there were three guys sitting outside the front doors drinking a six pack of beers. When checking in the attitude of the lady at the front desk was unprofessional, seems like she hated her job honestly. we got a room towards the back of the building. it smelled weird the further we went back. Getting into our room, the main bed area was fine, the door that is shared between the other room on the other side was completely torn up on the bottom. The bathroom was dirty. The sink didn't work, the piping for the sink was completely broken, we were in the hotel room for about 2 hours if even that and then left and checked out. Payed for two night only to stay two hours. Never returning.

Literally only one light worked in my hotel room. Tv didn’t work. Floor was sticky. Bathroom was disgusting. Paper thin walls, could hear the room next to me. Doors were always propped open, people just loitering around the parking lot? Like how is that allowed. Room and hotel smelled like smoke. Terrible terrible experience.

This place was very dirty. When we arrive people were smoking Marijuana outside by the front door. No trash can in room,toilet didn't flush very well,no soap, no plug in for your charger AC didn't cool the room very well. I will never ever stay at this hotel or it's affiliated in the future.

The lady that checked us in was nice to the other people in front of us and had a attitude with us for some reason, not quite sure what that reason was. The other employees were nice. We were put in the room by the exit so it kept sounding like someone was trying to come in our room when people open and closed the door.

The stay was ok. The room was clean, water pressure was good however I did ask for a 1st floor room as I am disabled and it is hard for mw to climb stairs. Also our air conditioner did not blow out cold air like it should. The front desk lady came to check it and said she didnt know, we were not offered another room. It was hot and uncomfortable to sleep in a hot room where you sweat. We have been here before and never had a problem. Would probably try a stay again some time.

Bathroom lights flickered, had to hold the toilet handle to flush, only a few tv channels to choose from, no plugs near nightstand so couldn't plug in any phones. Two outlets in the room were loose.. had a hard time charging phones. Room door didn't shut - had to push it shut (as well as listen to everyone else's door that had to be pushed shut). Bathroom was dirty in that there was paint chips and drywall dust everywhere. Bathroom sink faucet was annoying. No tub - sliding glass door in the shower opened up on the shower head side - what? Had to step out next to the toilet and towels were hung on the opposite side if the room. Poor design. Fridge was barely cold, even when turned all the way up. Would NOT recommend this hotel at all. What was good? The beds were comfortable, A/C worked just fine, shower water pressure was good.. that's it.

As I checked in the front desk denied I had a reservation even though I spoke with the manager two days in advance who guaranteed me she will have a crib for my infant child, I informed them that I will check in late as well. The front desk agent was very rude as I asked her what am I supposed to do at 1 o’clock in the morning with my family and my infant baby because our flight was delayed. The clerk replied “I had been there in this situation and was homeless once with nowhere to go, I don’t have a room for you.” Apparently, they have my room to someone else. I had to call Expedia agent who gave me a different confirmation number that allowed the front desk agent to find my reservation. Then she gave me a room that was occupied, someone was already asleep inside that room. Then they had to move me to another room. The following day, too many strangers kept opening my room door with their scanned key claiming that room was giving to them by the front desk. It was a very disappointing experience as we kept finding people opening the door on us with our child. I will never step a foot in such an unsafe place with unprofessional staff.

The guy JACOB is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE AND CONDESCENDING. He talks very sassy and down to people who comes up to the desk to ask questions. He was going to kick me out of the hotel, a long with my 3 small children and disabled mom bc I was taking my breakfast from the dining area to my room. I did this for 7 days in front of all of the other staff and never was told once it was a problem. I explained to one worker I had lupus and a weak immune system so I couldn't be around a lot of ppl at once( especially this hotel bc it was dirty ) and they were fine with it. As soon as he saw me with my breakfast he told me if I walked up the stairs with the breakfast to get my stuff and leave. He did all of this in front of other customers. He claims he had to enforce the rules of the hotel but never said anything about the weed smell and lack of products at the hotel. There was rarely any coffee cups. They always ran out of cream and said they were out of face towels on multiple occasions. This hotel is TERRIBLE!! Do not stay here!!!

When we arrived there was no record of our reservation. It took me 45 minutes to check in because i had to chat with Expedia and they had to call the front desk manager to get it straightened out. It was a "glitch " in the hotels system. Not even a sorry. We had no garbage cans in our room because they had been broken. We had 2 towels for 4 guests. The phone was missing so if i needed anything from the front desk i had to walk there to get it and make sure they knew i didn't steal their phone. We had coffee packets but no coffee maker or cups.the toilet got plugged after 2 uses and the solution was to bring me a plunger to fix it myself. The TV kept pausing throughout anything we watched. The floor smelled of pot even though there were no smoking signs. The outside door by the pool area was broke so anyone could walk in. The garbage by the entry door was overflowing and 3 McDonalds bags sitting on the ground cigarette butts everywhere.there was a printer on the lawn in the parking lot area.flat tire on the cart to carry our bags.I asked for a refund on our second night so we could find other accommodations and they said they couldn't do it. We left anyways because it was that bad. There were people hanginging around the front desk and on the curbs.DO Not recommend to stay here ever. I booked it because we stayed at a Clarion in Portland OR and that was a beautiful stay. This one not at all. It looked updated but i think employee pride is not there.

The check in process took awhile. The keys had to be re-programmed everyday. One evening after a long day I had to get keys remade but there wasn't anyone at the front desk. We called out "hello" but there was no response. 2 people came to check in and another needing reprogrammed keys. We were just about to call the police when a woman came down the hall & went behind the front desk. It was something I've never encountered

One of the worst experiences ive had. Staff was extremely unhelpful, eats while talking to costumers, flirts with costumers, and the worst was not giving us OUR paid room but to another costumer instead. Don't ever book here, unless you absolutely need to. can't guarantee you'll actually get your service you paid for though.

Felt very unsafe. Many many people possibly illegals sleeping in campers, large trailers parked around building. Entrance door that I needed use was really confusing. Breakfast well, I went and needed a restaurant. Not trying to be judgmental just trying to be honest. When I arrived if I could to get my money back I would have never stayed in this location.

We've stayed here twice and although it suits our needs, it must be a crime risk area because both times they've asked for all our vehicle info - make, model, color, license plate #, etc. And they require the names of other guests in the room. Just not normal for most other hotels.

It's convenient right off the highway, staff was nice and friendly, room was clean and tidy and comfy and the mini fridge worked fine but there was no microwave in the room and every vending machine was out of order but they do provide a decent free breakfast with options like cereal/bagels/ diy waffle station (some folks seemed to have issue using but eh), oranges and toast. Also had a drink dispenser with oj/apple/cranberry juice and water or coffee. Would probably stay here again as it was affordable and they did have a seasonal outdoor pool.

It was one of lower price options for a one night stay. The area was a little shady, next to a vacant business property. Saw a couple of people janging out outside of the front entrance for afternoon and evening. Nothing wrong, but it made me uncomfortable going in and out of the entrance. The room was cleaned, but i could not help feeling the stickiness of the floor and the wall. The facility is probably quite old, i had difficulty finding power sockets to chargr phones. The power strip only had two outlets working and onecwas used forcthe desl lamp. There were only two sets of towels for a family of three, but this was alright for eco-friendliness. The bed was comfortable. But throughout the night, we kept hearing someone talking loud in the hallway and later, wailing of a woman (which lasted for quite a while). For the breakfast, i expected a barwly minimum, but i was pleasantly surprised with the hot food... omlet and gravy and bisquit. I liked thw omlet with gravy. Coffee was hot and not bad. Overall, this was ok for a one night stay fir a price.

If they are not going to fix all the little things that need fixing, then they should tear it down and erect a decent hotel. The window above the air conditioner was cracked and needed replacing. Tile in the bathroom was cracked and had grout missing between the tiles. the door to the shower was on the wrong side, so i had to manouver around the toilet to get into the shower. The water handle in the shower was loose and about to come off. The hallways were dirty. The "breakfast" was bland and tasteless. The juice machine only had oj.

Staff friendly as can be upon check in. And thats where the positives end. Make sure to bring your own BODY WASH AND HAND SOAP becausebthe room will not have any at least ours didnt. Breakfast is terrible cereal is stale and definitely off brand with name brand logos. Good luck gettijg to the waffle maker unless you are first to rise for am entire hotel to only have 1 waffle iron for 500 guest is just bizarre

By 8:00 am All the scrambled eggs were gone , All the Muffins were gone . There was nothing left but Cerial , juice and coffee. When asked about it one of the women thought it was funny as if I just told her a joke. I will never recommend anyone to stay there.

Found snots on fitted bed sheet when I pulled back the covers. Remote control didn't have cover to battery's on it. Free breakfast - food was semi cold. No syrup for waffles.
