After a week in a non air conditioned cabin we stopped here on the way home. We swam in the pool, had a few drinks in the bar, ate dinner and relaxed in the highly air conditioned room for the evening. It was exactly what we wanted.

We stayed while going on a campus tour of Northern Michigan University. It was convenient to the college and we at at the hotel restaurant on site which was good. The pool and workout facilities were great!

I like everything about this hotel except the elevators. I have stayed here twice and it always seems that you have to wait forever for the elevators during the day as the maid staff is constantly using them to move carts up and down between floors. I understand that the laundry is probably in one central location, but i would think that each floor should have its own supply closet for the cleaning carts. It is a minor annoyance but something i felt i should mention. Everything else about this property is good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was fairly quiet during our stay. The front desk staff here has always been exceptionally freindly and profesional.

Room wasn't cleaned and when I called front desk clerk she said housekeeping was gone and nothing she could do about it. Had to carry our trash and used towels outside in the rain to the front desk and pick up clean towels. Also very noisy with slamming doors and kids in hallway. Thin walls. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent modern atmosphere and accommodations, friendly helpful staff and service. The only thing I would recommend is to put a fan in the hotel room bathrooms to help with the steam after taking showers. Otherwise I rate our stay 9.99 out of 10.

Our room smelled like auto exhaust. I notified the front desk and we left for dinner so they could fix it. When I came back to the room after dinner I smelled the same odor. Nothing had changed. It was making my family nauseous and we could not stay there. I asked the front desk to provide us a different room but they said they were full. I asked for a refund since we could not stay in that room. Since I got the room (and paid for it) through Expedia, I was told I had to go thru Expedia for a refund. This problem is on the hotel. This problem left my family scrambling to find a different place to stay late at night. I am furious at this outcome and do not plan to stay at another Holiday Inn.

I was doing a staycation with my granddaughters. Delaney at the front desk went above and beyond to help us checkin. Mike at dinner was amazing and very kid friendly. The pool and hot tub area was huge and so was the pool and hot tub. We had so much fun we stayed an extra night!

We have stayed twice at this hotel. Both times was fantastic. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the on site restaurant. The table had a fantastic view of the back garden and grounds. The pool was very refreshing and large. Our room on the fifth floor was excellent. The room was Comfortable, updated and super clean.

Awesome pool/hot tub area for large group of 15-20 to hang out after a long day riding the snowmobile trails. Loved having the bar/restaurant available, and also close to downtown area for other options. Thanks for the great stay!

The hotel is nice, we did NOT however appreciate being charged for breakfast, that we learned was actually a free continental breakfast when we were standing in front of it. That is if you want to call a table full of sugar filled pre packaged cereal, Danish, and yogurt Breakfast. The fresh fruit was the only thing we could eat. Very disappointed. !! If we had known that was all they were offering we would not have paid extra for it, and would have brought our own breakfast. It was a joke!!

Room was good. Breakfast terrible. $17 each-surprise! I had $30 breakfast credit that they would not split between two rooms. Another guest gave up there breakfast credit and they would not allow us to use it. This weekend seemed like they didn’t care, just wanted to squeeze everything they could from the public on one of the most special days of our lives, our daughters college graduation. Thanks for nothing, will not stay again.

This was one of the best hotels our family has ever stayed at together. The breakfast was amazing, the staff were awesome and friendly, the pool was fantastic and the kids eat free coupons were so helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
