The hotel had a kitchen come standard, a fantastic microwave, and was perfectly serviceable. We stayed for the Lake Superior performance rally and weren’t disappointed. I wish the hotel had a gym and pool, but a free pass for lifetime / anytime fitness nearby was included.

Clean, nice rooms, full kitchens, great pet friendly hotel. On the negative side, there is no breakfast, no pool or hot tub, and no onsite fitness room. They do have a great arrangement with Anytime Fitness and you can get a 24 hr fob from the front desk. Anytime is just a quarter mile or so up the road.

Basic, clean hotel room. If planning a prolonged stay there is a full kitchen. Nice restaurant within walking distance-but they are closed on Sundays. You can get a day pass for Anytime fitness, but no onsite gym.

Everything was great! Wish the entire parking lot was well lit but other than that no complaints. The girl at the front desk was as welcoming as humanly possible and went the extra mile to give us suggestions to make the most of our time in the area. I wish I had gotten her name to drop in the review but she was an art student in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

This is always a great option for us! No pool or complimentary breakfast but there’s a kitchenette and full size fridge in each room so you can make your own! There are restaurant options nearby and for the first time, we took a nice long walk behind the hotel and it’s an absolutely beautiful area!

This is a newer hotel, so it is nice & it was clean. There is no breakfast & no pool, but it does have a kitchen right in your room. Large fridge, microwave, stove. No pots pans, utensils though.

The thermostat didn’t seem to work right. 65 felt like 85. We had to use the AC at 58 in Oct/Nov to have the room comfortable. We found cereal on the floor from previous guests.

We arrived to the hotel close to 9:30pm. Check in was quick. Room was clean. However, at 10pm someone (either next door or in the hallway) started smoking marijuana. The smell was so overpowering that I started getting a headache, nausea, & sinus congestion. The next morning, in the shower, the dispenser for body wash and conditioner were empty. This was brought to the managers attention at check out.

This was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in. In addition, the staff at the front desk were very accommodating and friendly. It made our stay that much better!!

Very easy and friendly check in, rooms are consistent, clean, quiet. As a bonus, the coffee in the common area is good quality. They let us extend our stay so that we could enjoy the outdoors around Marquette and still have a place to have as home base.

The room was clean, spacious and pretty quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The only slight downside for me is that they don't serve breakfast, which I didn't realize at the time I booked, but they do have food items for purchase. I would stay here again though. time I booked

Staff was amazing. We stayed on the first floor but had to switch rooms the next night because bed was super squeeky and noise from outside. Second night, there was a dog on the 4th floor that was barking like crazy and asked to switch rooms. Once we switched rooms, we got possibly the best sleep of our entire trip. Staff was amazing and very accommodating, place was super clean.

Room was clean, bed super comfortable. My only question/complaint why provide a kitchen area with nothing in it. No dishes, silverware etc. They sell them to you in the lobby....defeats purpose of wanting hotel room with kitchen if i wanted to travel with my cookware etc. I would camp.

All new! Comfy bed, friendly staff. It was SO clean! I am a housekeeper myself and FUSSY about clean! Window trim, under the recliner, and even the furnace filter was spotless! Wonderful. Beautiful kitchen area, but nothing is supplied. Bring your own pots, spoons, plates, flatware, etc. There is a store to buy, but $21.00 for a frying pan. The property description should be more up front about that. Only stayed one night, so worked for me. Book with complete confidence.

I asked when check in was at 11:00am and the front desk lady wanted to charge me for another day to check in early. When I told her "No, I will come back at 3," she tried to get me to sign up for a rewards program to check in at 1. I will not return to this hotel because this woman was rude and pushy.

Julie checked us in and she was so kind. Nice, clean hotel with a decent price. Only issue was that the fire detector decided to go off at 330am , waking us up because the batteries were dying. Called the front desk and the man working came up with new batteries and we got them changed out.

We were given the wrong room keys and then when the correct keys were given, it was to a room that already had a guest in it. The staff wrote the wrong room number down. Not a big deal, it was a true mistake but the man we barged in on was not happy. The full kitchen is great if you travel with your own pots and pans and dishes. I would have liked an option to have them in the room or maybe to rent them.

The staff were quite friendly, and very welcoming! We appreciated the call we got when the weather turned bad. Hannah gave us a call to check that we’re were still en route and to make sure she knew an ETA for our arrival so the staff could be ready for us. She was very friendly and helpful when we got there and accommodated our dog very nicely. The place is a bit dated, and I wish we had a king Sized bed option, but for the price we were very happy. We will make this our go-to when travelling through Marquette in the future

Area was nice. Hotel was not as nice I would have expected for the "new" condition it looks like. The hallway was stinky when we got off the elevator on our floor. The hallway looked like an old hotel. The price was much higher than typical. A veteran at check in was told he would not receive the veterans discount that they offer because it was an "event" weekend. There was a mountain bike race, so the vet doesn't get the discount for the week he was staying there to explore. That didn't seem right to me. They already raised the prices for the weekend.

Everything was clean (inside and outside) and modern. There is a nice outdoor pavilion area with a couple tables and a gas grill. We were able to just side outside for a bit and relax with our beverages, chatted with some other guests. We did have a room on the back end of the place, the night was quiet, but guessing a room on the front may be a bit loud due to the Hwy. If we were ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

This place was pretty good over all. Next time I would stay closer to town to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. I didn't like how the bedding was done. They had a top sheet and then a fitted sheet and another sheet covering the comforter. The sheets just ended up being a tangled mess. As others have commented it was strange that they have a small kitchen but no plates, cups, pans, utensils to use. They want you to bring your own I guess or purchase them from the hotel. They said because it's a health code issue. We've stayed at multiple hotels that have supplied all of those things and only ask that you wash your own dishes before check out. It really doesn't make sense to offer the amenitys with out having the proper items needed to utilize them expecially for an extended stay hotel.

Only wish there was a continental breakfast included. There were quite a few tables and chairs in the lobby for it to happen, but not sure if it was discontinued or not. We ended up in a lovely coffee shop so it worked out for us, but for those that don’t really care for lattes etc , you missed your mark !

Check in staff was very friendly & helpful. Liked the comfortable recliner in the room. They did not have an ice machine for filling cooler. The full refrig/freezer in our room did make ice but even after several hours it only made enough for a small pan of ice. They do not include breakfast in rental but that was not an issue for us as we had plans to get breakfast at nearby Huron Mountain Bakery. However, ou can pay extra for breakfast at hotel.

Check-in was so nice. The woman (Julie, i think) was genuinely nice and helpful. The room was clean and the kitchenette was really helpful since they don't have a complimentary breakfast. There is nothing extraordinary about this hotel. Its just a good, solid place to stay.
