The hotel was beautiful and well—equipped. The staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the pool is FREEZING. They have an indoor pool and it felt like there was no heat in the pool room and the temperature of the water had to have been in the 60s. My son lives to swim at hotel pools. Honestly, 100% of the reason we booked this one was the really nice looking pool. I wish they invested a little more in it to make it a better place to be. Even the water in the pool shower was cold, so there was no way to warm up short of taking a shower back in my room.

Stayed at this hotel for a convention and it was awful. There were only two elevators and one had been down for months. Within an hour the other one went out and we were told to use the service elevator. The halls were hot and humid the entire time. We went to the hotels bar/restaurant for dinner and a drink, and quickly realized that was a mistake. Good luck getting any service there. Just getting a drink at the bar took about 15 minutes if not more. We are never staying at this hotel again, if you have to stay in the area avoid this one.

Very small bathroom. One parking lot closed for the three days we were there, very long walk to room. Room could have been a bit cleaner, popcorn on floor behind round work table...plug in on table not working Bed was comfortable.

The staff at the front desk is always rude and unwelcoming. This is my second time staying here and I came because it’s a nice hotel but I was reminded of how rude the staff always is when you come to the front desk. Also, the elevator being down when there is only one other elevator was difficult to deal with due to the long wait times.

They didn’t clean the room daily. Only thing they did were that made the bed. Calling for customer service was very bad. Before I booked the room, I had a question about the breakfast. First Lady picked up my call with baby taking and dishwashing sounds. She couldn’t answer my question and hung up the phone. I called back and it was the same person that I talked with earlier. When I repeat my question again, she just hung up the phone. Please think about this type of working at home’s quality.

The worst part of this property, and the reason I will never go back, is the horrible, inept service at the lobby bar/restaurant. The two individuals running it were a complete disaster and either need extensive training or replacement, They purposely avoid eye contact so they don't have to do the work, and if they walked any slower they would be moving backward. The bar was a complete mess, with glasses, dishes, check recipts all over the place. I even observed the bartender pour a wine order into a dirty wine glass that had been sitting on the bar for 45 minutes. I interjected at that point and informed him those dishes were dirty. For $350/night, I will NEVER come back to this horrible place.

The hotel itself is nice. We had the terrible luck of staying there at the same time as a convention and some other large groups. The noise from those next to us kept us awake until 3 am. We had to call the front desk twice before someone came up to alert the room next door about the noise complaint.

We went to Novi, MI for a cheerleading competition, arrived at hotel early were told to come back in half hour all in all check in was 4pm we finally got in a room at 6 pm and mind you people on wait list came and got in rooms before us. Gentlemen at front desk was very nice offered us buffet tickets for breakfast that would cover all 4 of us, hotel room and hotel room were very nice except sandwich left in fridge, 3 of us went down for buffet, my granddaughter only get melon and 1-sausage and we make a plate for my other daughter waitress came to our ur table she was not overly friendly I told there was 4 plates not 3 and I had buffet cards meal came to 80.00 I put on tip she told me to put cards inside we check out and drive away I notice I was charged 50.00 deposit as well as 64.00 for breakfast which they said was mistake cards were missing then why did you take some off and they were put back on card immediately that was yesterday morning they have not refunded me the 50.00 deposit nor my other money minus tip! I feel we were treated unfairly we come from town in the UP don't gave a lot of extra money to be taken advantage of, I will never recommend this hotel or stay there ever again!

This hotel really exceeded expectations. The room was clean, great amenities offered. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room needed some additional items and the front desk staff were so helpful in a very timely manner. The hotel is near plenty of food and shopping, even though walkable. Will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Great! This hotel is a hidden gem. It’s away from downtown Detroit but if you’re ok with the drive and wanna save some money without having to sacrifice on comfort & niceness of a hotel this is a must stay. I’m reluctant to post because I want this hotel to stay the course they are on but the definitely deserve the highlight

We were there for a conference with meals, and we gave the banquet/dining staff a standing ovation on the last day. The banquet service was outstanding, the food was well made and very good, and the staff was more than gracious in making sure everything went well
