Well heck.. i paid extra to pick this hotel through hotel.com and I picked it for a personal get away hot tub and swimming. The website never said not working nor did the price reflect that. I got there and a sign said pool and spa not working and i can go down the street to the other pool. WHAT!! Can i change my hotel since your sister facilities NO they said. So I have to stay and go to the pool/hot tub down the road get dressed get in car and drive back down to my room to sleep. I have my 3yr old gbaby who wanted to swim but it was cold at night. Someone could of told me. I could've swam more if i didnt have to drive everywhere to get clothes drive to pool, change with a baby then drive again. I was hoping someone would vacuum NOPE. 3 nights nothing. I got one whole coffee to make for 3 days. The lotion was empty. Unreal. Next time ill just go to the cheaper hotel.

Great place for our family to be comfortable during our trip to Michigan. With the basketball court, the pool, the wonderful breakfast, and the room situation, we had all we needed and more. We will stay here again.

Everything was very nice, except the pool and jacuzzi was down for upgrades almost our whole stay. They did provide access to a pool and jacuzzi at their sister hotel, but that wasnt very convenient for two wheelchair children and a mentally handicapped adult. Everything else was great.

We booked this specific hotel to enjoy relaxing evenings in the hot tub. We weren't in there very long and our eyes started burning. The hot tub was so highly chlorinated to the point my swimsuit turned from green to yellow our eyes were burning, throats burned and coughs developed. We talked to the front desk who said they would tell the manager and have it tested. We heard nothing back from the manager the next morning we were told "everything is as it should be". The room was nice and clean but the customer service was terrible.

The room size and amenities in the room were good. We had a short overnight stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and property had a lot of wear and tear. The bathroom doorknob was broken and loosely hanging on the door, there was a missing door stop piece and it had made a large dent in the frame, the door deadbolt did not fit correctly and we were unsure if it worked at all, the maintenance closet in the bedroom was locked but the door fit was off so it just opened when pulling on the door knob, the sheets seemed clean but we found a gum wrapper in the duvet, the stairwell was in poor shape with many areas looking to be under renovation, the parking lot was not plowed properly and it was hard to find a spot at times. There were some dirty areas on the walls also. Overall, it wasn't the most well kept as far as improvements, but we stay in a lot of hotels and they are all about the same these days. It was fairly clean and didn't smell bad. My kids touched just about everything and didn't get sick so I'll call it a win. We also loved having a full kicthen! I had a discount, but would not have been satisfied paying around $300 per night for this particular room or for several nights at the rate we paid. They also had a later start to breakfast on Saturday and we unfortunately did not get to use that perk, which was dissappointing. We would stay here again, but would ask for a different room (if this was the condition) if staying longer than a quick overnight trip.

Our room was overall clean and we enjoyed the suite setup very well! Our neighbors in the hallways and in surrounding rooms could be heard very clearly, which resulted in my partner and I being quiet and careful about our discussions lol. Our bathroom lacked a clean appearance and there were mystery splatters and stains throughout the walls and tub. Kinda sketchy to be honest. The breakfast was VERY underwhelming compared to many of the other hotels we have stayed at. The front desk employees were friendly, however the staff running the breakfast were cold and distant, minimally interactive/reactive. For the price, this place got the job done, however I expected a cleaner, better maintained facility due to the proximity of this hotel to the many businesses and event centers located nearby. One final note: both nights we were left to park in a space next to a Ford Fusion that was stuffed to the gills with trash and objects. The lot itself was not huge. This car did not move the entire stay. No one was located in the car, and the windows were lyrically down through rain showers, as well as the tires appearing to be in disrepair (as though it has been sitting for a while). Perhaps a tow company should be called?

Staybridge is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly, the entire place is clean and well maintained, the room was perfect and the breakfast was wonderful. This is one of the nicest hotels my family has stayed in for the price. Would recommend and will stay again!

Toilet is plugged whenever toilet paper is flushed, had to get a plunger from the front desk multiple times. Some of the GFCI outlets are reset so that some outlets down the line didn’t work. Breakfast is terrible: food is stale and tasteless; cut fruit must have been cut for days, tasting fermented and bacteria-laden; the orange juice from the machine tastes diluted. Room was not cleaned at all one day. The place overall is dated and room layout is weird.

This hotel is okay at best. It's not very clean and don't stay on the first floor as we could always hear walking above us, Soundproofing is not good. The hotel provides dinner a few nights per week and then the first floor smells badly. We had a water main break cause no water in the hotel. We couldn't shower or flush the toilet and we checked out with 2 days to go in our reservation. The hotel insisted on charging us for the two days until Expedia intervened on our behalf. Won't stay here again.

It was a nice place, lots of people and kids there when we went. The breakfast was pretty much gone by 8:30 when we got down there. Everything was clean staff was super nice my only complaint is the bed. Omg it was rock hard!! We were tossing and turning all night. So upgrade your beds, especially for the price and it would be 5 stars. A few of the outlets weren’t working in the kitchen, not a big deal I moved the coffee pot and there’s tons of outlets.

I never sleep well in hotel beds but this place was the best. For two nights in a row I slept the best I ever had in a hotel bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy, almost just like home.

The night/check-In staff was very confrontational/ stand-offish. The morning staff were friendly I guess. The windows should be able to open with a hotel that allows you to cook. Things get smoky and go have to sit in smoke while eating or relaxing is uncomfortable

Check in process was slow. Had to find the attendant. Waited 5-10 minutes. Then she had trouble checking us in even though we were already paid. It took a long time. Changed room number a couple of times. Said we were right next to each other which was not accurate. We were not made aware that house keeping only comes every 7 days and you have to take out your own garbage and get your own clean towels and make your bed. Garbage outside everyone’s rooms. Our wet dirty towels piled up in room. The duvet covers completely coming off of insert due to not being straightened daily. Back door to parking was broke. Someone’s card broke off inside. My husband said our room door lock needed work. Screws coming loose. I couldn’t even lock it myself. Not what is used to be. I’ll look around for alternatives next time.
Check in process was slow. Had to find the attendant. Waited 5-10 minutes. Then she had trouble checking us in even though we were already paid. It took a long time. Changed room number a couple of times. Said we were right next to each other which was not accurate. We were not made aware that house keeping only comes every 7 days and you have to take out your own garbage and get your own clean towels and make your bed. Garbage outside everyone’s rooms. Our wet dirty towels piled up in room. The duvet covers completely coming off of insert due to not being straightened daily. Back door to parking was broke. Someone’s card broke off inside. My husband said our room door lock needed work. Screws coming loose. I couldn’t even lock it myself. Not what is used to be. I’ll look around for alternatives next time.

Room 327, dripping faucet and slow tub drain and was cool despite thermostat settings. 3rd day set Heat to 74, and was 54 degs upon return blowing Cold air. Was offered more blankets since no other rooms. Desk clerk witnessed the problem and then found another room 310. Called GM expecting a comp night, or IHG points, etc. for my trouble. She said the thermostat was now working, and I should have told them earlier, like it was my fault and she did nothing, nor was even apologetic. Customer service is lacking, and the property a bit "tired". I will never stay there again, nor will my biz colleagues.

Toilet has been leaking since we checked in maintenance has been to the room three times to “fix” it. Leaks so much it cover the bathroom floor with water blocking the shower and room: must wear shoes. I was told I could not move to another room. Sucks because room is actually beautiful! Also was told to communicate with Expedia for the refund because they can’t do anything about it.

The second night was much better, and we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good with enough options for all 6 of us. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, the dog barking across the hall was loud, the people above me and next door were crying and stomping most of the night, the iron spit out mold pieces onto my clothing when using the steam, the breakfast buffet was filled with dairy options only except that cut fruit so there were no options for me to eat. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I regularly come to MI for business.

Be prepared for $150 incidental hold on your card which wasnt disclosed on hotels.com website. Was told the funds release in 5 to 7 days. Hotel currently under remodel which wasnt disclosed ahead either. Room was small. Bathroom smelled of mold. Heater ran all night and we had set to 71 but woke up to the heat at 76 and itbwas so noisy. Parking situation was terrible. No close parking on the side of our room. Other side had minimal parking but side entry doors closed due to remodel so you had to walk farther to front doors. It snowed 3+ inches overnight and at 930am the parking lot was not plowed at all. People parked in aisles as not enough parking. Breakfast was a nice spread of hot foods but only 1 omelet maker that was constantly in use was frustrating. Overall for the price I wouldnt stay here again.

It was a nice place, lots of people and kids there when we went. The breakfast was pretty much gone by 8:30 when we got down there. Everything was clean staff was super nice my only complaint is the bed. Omg it was rock hard!! We were tossing and turning all night. So upgrade your beds, especially for the price and it would be 5 stars. A few of the outlets weren’t working in the kitchen, not a big deal I moved the coffee pot and there’s tons of outlets.

Breakfast could be a little better for price of place but was not terrible. Lady working the buffet was a little rude. Instead of asking to get by you to get into a cabinet or to swap out food she would just say move or I need In there and was very short. All other staff was really nice. Very clean room except above the microwave where vented but all in all really nice. Hot tub was not hot. Just luke warm/ room temperature.
