This was franchised, independently owned and you could tell. Breakfast items were always very low stock or just empty. Area not kept clean, nor was it monitored as everything was messy everywhere, missing utensils to grab items, etc. Wanted to visit the pool but changed my mind when I saw the water was green. Tiny tv in room.. just overall yucky. I stayed at the Belleville location the day before and it was MUCH nicer.

This was my son and I’d first weekend get away for Motorcity con. We didn’t have service at the con and called hotel to help us find our way. They were amazing! Check in was fast. My son is 8 and he was super happy because he’d never stayed in a hotel before. He loved every minute. He even got the pool to himself

Room was clean .. went to the pool the water had a green tint to it.. and the chlorine was overwhelming definitely tell it hasn’t been drained and cleaned properly and water tasted of urine and had mold on baseboard areas

We recently stayed at this establishment for six days while attending a convention held at the hotel across the street. Our room, number 104, was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. However, one area that could benefit from attention is the carpet, which could use a thorough cleaning. After spending a full day walking around the room barefoot, the soles of my feet became noticeably dirty, almost appearing black with grime. The bathroom floor was mopped by housekeeping, at least during the times she cleaned while we were present. I am uncertain if it was mopped during our absences. Furthermore, the carpet did not seem to be vacuumed at all during our stay, as a couple of white lint particles remained throughout our visit. Perhaps more frequent vacuuming of the carpet would help to address the unseen dirt that caused my feet to become so soiled. Breakfast here was great, with lots of choices, both hot and cold options were available, and well stocked.

I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. Not bad. Not the best! I checked in around 4 and they had to see if a room was cleaned/available. The rooms need a deep cleaning. My bathtub was dirty. There’s grime around/under the rim of the bathroom sink (which is a horrible type for constant cleaning). Breakfast was good. I wish they served eggs with no cheese and had Almond milk.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful, but the room was not very clean. There was a bad smell when we arrived, but it cleared after we left the window open for about two hours. We had considered leaving when we entered the room, but after it was aired out, we did not notice the smell again during our two-night stay. The carpeting in the room was very dirty. Our kids’ white socks were black on the bottom. We couldn’t walk barefoot in the room. The beds and bathroom were clean enough. The free breakfast was nice and offered enough options for the family. It was nothing fancy, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc., but perfect for us.

I was in room 209 and there were bed bugs. The first night I had two bites, the second night 2 more. Then I realized the issue. I had to deal with this issue in my home as well because I brought them back from the hotel.

Room appeared clean. No big issues until we woke up the following morning and found a roach in the bathroom. I'm unable to add a picture but he was on our sink and made his way on top of our ice container by the time I had gotten my phone to take a picture. Guy at the front desk couldnt have been any nicer. Still - I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

The property was near many restaurants and easy access to the interstate. Our room on the second floor was clean but the noise coming from the 3rd floor was very disruptive and we had a very bad night trying to sleep. We shared our concerns with management and it stopped for a short time and then carried on through to the early morning. It just seemed like very poor sound barrier between floors.

It’s very close to express highway. There is a convenient gas station(100 ft) right next to hotel for your essential needs. Clean room. Only one bad thing is when you move on the bed it’s make noise.it’s annoyed my sleep in the beginning. Nice staff. Breakfast is just average.

Unfortunately my partner and I did not have the best check in experience. I have always used Expedia, paid through them and ahead of time and have never had any problems. Upon checking in June 8th, the woman working at the desk came over from the waiting area and took my id then proceeded to charge us for a room ($150). It wasn’t until after the payment processed that she realized we already paid for the room. It took an awhile for her to speak with someone and to ultimately reverse the payment. It was extremely inconvenient pulling that much AGAIN after already paying for the room. Then, she proceeded to still take the incidental without taking the card and letting us know.

Had an issue with the air conditioning not working in the room I was originally in and the front desk lady immediately put me in another room. Rooms are really nice and clean. Breakfast was exceptional! I’ve stayed at this location many times and it does not disappoint

Never will I book a business colleague here! Checked in and received a handicap accessible room. Did not require that so asked for a regular room with a tub. Hotel refuses to move rooms citing they were sold out the following day not the day we checked in. Told me if you book on 3rd party sites you get the cheapest leftover room. Left message for the manager and no call back. Very embarrassing to host my out of town colleague at this hotel.

When I got there at 3pm for check in the room wasn’t ready. When I asked how long he told me he would “find out” and then proceeded to walk away from the desk. He acted like he was going to look for someone and then walked back to the desk, finished my check in and asked for my email and phone number (I was assuming to alert me when my room is ready). He then handed me my keys and told me my room number. As he was doing so another worker kept yelling to him that there was a “stay over” for that room number but he handed me the keys anyways and sent me on my way with no info. I waited in my car with 4 impatient children waiting for a call/email as to when my room would be ready. After 30 minutes I ran to check the room and the cleaning staff was still actively working in my room. I then went back to my car for another 15-20 minutes and came back to check again and I was getting impatient myself and the room was finally ready. Nobody called or emailed to let me know so if I wouldn’t have checked myself who knows how long it would have took.

Passing through town on way home. this was my third time staying at this site. Its my go to place to stay when I'm passing through. Nice spot that has easy access, and is close to a nice restaurant. Gas station nearby makes it convenient.

Breakfast was amazing. Hot and cold foods. Replenished all the time. Didn't run out of food any time of breakfast hours. Mark at front desk was wonderful and helpful. One drawback was we were on the expressway side. A bit noisy. Also, there was some noise entering through the door from the hall. Thse two problems shouldn't stop you from staying. The bed was the right firmness and the sheets were soft along with the pillows. Very clean! Pool is a bit small, but nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Are returning in October for a concert in Detroit. Also, it is close to downtown, but far enough to feel safe and close to many attractions.

The breakfast was below average. We did have our breakfast near the later end of the breakfast time, but the food options were not well stocked. The omelette were gone and there were just a few pieces of extremely crisp bacon left. We talked to someone and they did eventually did bring out a few more omelette after about 10 minutes or so. A bit disappointed in that, but otherwise everything was fine.

Room was very clean and staff were very kind. Everything was great except the breakfast, food was very disappointing. Pancakes were rubbery and the yogurts had the expiration dates scratched off of them! Didn’t trust to eat much besides a bagel. Hopefully they can get better breakfast because it was a great stay other than that.
