Maintenance was a bit behind. Window screens torn. Two windows in pool room were literally covered with plywood with missing glass. Window in hallway stair was wide open and had broken mechanism and would not close.

At check in the lady was just doing her job. Nothing more. Not really friendly or welcoming. The room itself was pretty nice. Recently redone. The hall though had a really bad odor. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work. The pool was ok until they drained it during our stay with no notice or explanation. There were a couple missing windows which anyone could just come into the building through.

The hot tub was too cold to use. Lighting in the room didn’t always work. Shower curtain was so short that water went all over the floor when showering Breakfast was mostly cold cereal and packaged pastry. Orange juice had a bad taste. Very over priced.

The place appeared clean at first sight. I ended up with 2 cockroaches on my nightstand, so I slept with the lights on. The sink produced hot water, but I could get nothing over 60 degrees out of the shower. I tried the handle in every position and kept it running for roughly 15 minutes. I ended using a wash cloth with the hot sink water to wash up after a very uncomfortable stay. 2 containers of identical off-brand Cheerios were offered along with Styrofoam muffins for breakfast.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. I stayed there 10/17 and noticed on 10/23 that I had all sorts of itchy red bug bites on my neck and arms. Bedbugs can take up to 2 weeks to show signs of the attack. I should’ve been wary earlier since my boyfriend found an earwig on the headboard. There was no working fan or hair dryer in the bathroom and we weren’t given enough towels either. Front reception was friendly at least. Breakfast was coffee and packaged muffins.

I have been in some motels in the third world countries, but this was by far the worst one!!!! Besides that everything is outdated, the main problem was that everything was filthy dirty, I went and bought the bedsheets and pillow covers, the floor was so sticky, so i used one of the towels to clean it, a white towel became brown in 2 min. Bathroom was dirty, and there was hair all over the tiles. Don’t stay there! This motel shouldn’t even be operating!

I only stayed for one night. I had a pleasant enough experience checking in & parking, though the exterior looked a bit rough - but when I got home the evening after checking out, I started to notice welts on my arms, legs, back & chest. By the next morning, I knew I was covered in Bed Bug bites. I threw away the clothing that was in the room with me, and I'm terrified now that despite that caution I've brought them home with me. I'll never stay there again, and I've notified EconoLodge corporate that all guests need to be contacted & that the entire place needs to be treated immediately.

The room had two queen beds, one bed had dog hair all over the bedspread. Room apparently was not cleaned from the previous guest. Two towels for 3 guests. No soap in the bathroom. Bathroom door would only close if we pushed hard then it was difficult to open, must have been warped. Light over the sink didn't work. Air conditioner made a loud squeeky sound that kept us up all night. Vending machines were empty. Carpet in the hallway and steps smelled. Just horrible.

Upon entering rm was hit by earthly smell (mold) air conditioning increased mold smell. Couldn't breath, equipment didn't work, no lights or H2O, and towel rack above toilet ready to fall on you while you use toilet. Toilet was only thing working & it was filthy....Worst, & most unhealthy place I was forced to stay. When you check in at 9 at night you have no choice ugh... Asthma attacks, blankets visablely stained. I took pictures of fixtures hanging from walls, dried urine all over...... Yes worst

It was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in years. The AC worked for an hour; the bed had no box spring and was about 1-1/2 feet off the floor. I had to clean mirror and faucets in a small sink mounted on wall w/no vanity space. Floor was filthy in bedroom. Shower head was like a home shower head with a clip and hose for removal, but it would only squirt towards wall; could not make it squirt towards center. It was a disgusting hotel and should not be on Hotels.com. I would be nervous to use your site again since this hotel was so BAD!!!

This property was okay. Slightly not cared for, meaning, fridge not plugged in and when plugged in, made horrible noises. No knobs on dresser which is an easy fix and laminate on dresser coming off. Soap empty. No elevator.

The faucet handle in the shower was reversed. the blue setting produced hot water and the red produced cold water. very difficult to get a hot water setting with the narrow range of hot water settings. The toilet seat was not secured on the toilet. It shifted from side to side when you sat on it. I had to finger tighten the nut on the bolt that secured the seat. Construction crew that roomed on the floor above us was very noisy. House keeping did not put fresh towels in the room after we specifically asked for them. Not very happy with my experience here. When I got there the TV did not work I had to call the front desk and they had to walk me through how to get it going. The next day when I woke up I took a shower and there was no hot water. I let the hot water run for like two minutes and it was still not hot. So I decided to take a cold shower and after I was done I called the front desk and they said the cold is the hot and the hot is the cold and you need to let it run for five minutes. I don't feel that it was worth $188 for one night sleep.

We rented two rooms the 2nd week of July. The air conditioner in both rooms did not work and it was HOT - sweat dripping down my back in bed hot. In one room there were two queen beds. As soon as you stepped in the room you could see the HUGE dip in the middle of the bed. The ceramic tiles around the toilet were cracking. In the middle of the night (with bare feet because it was so hot) you could feel ceramic cracking under your feet and I thought i would wake up to glass shards in my skin. We booked this location due to its proximity to Interlochen and that's about the only positive I can find here. It was a close Uber ride away from the concert venue.

Worst stay ever. If I'm paying $300 a night, I'd expect to have a room worth that price. The A/C did not work so the room was 85+ degrees. Opened the window to try to cool off and the screen was all bent up so we got to enjoy flying bugs all night while we dripped with sweat. Bathroom was below par. Stained towels. Dirty toilet. Exhaust fan sounded like a freight train. There was some kind of nasty goo on the wall by the trash can. The room safe didn't work because there were no batteries in the keypad.

We decided to cut our valentine's weekend short due to the weather and its continued deplorable conditions that were being forecast. Called to cancel our reservation as a courtesy knowing we wouldn't receive our money back. The woman was extremely rude and in instisted I couldn't cancel. I finally said, "Well we will not be there and hung up." I never asked for any money back she was immediately just defensive and ride saying, "u can't cancel."

As a former CHOICE hotel Manager for Comfort Suites South in Grand Rapids, Mi., I was so impressed by the new management of this hotel. Their friendly, hospitable service, coupled with clean comfortable rooms, pool and exterior care shows they care for both for the CHOICE brand and their property. I was impressed and enjoyed my visit!

Waited at check-in desk for 15 minutes pushing the call button that doesnt work. 1st person that came spoke no English 2nd person said 4 words to me while a 3rd person just wierdly stared at me. Also the refrigerator had an ice block that could of sunk the Titanic and someone left Bologna & cheese from god knows when in there.?

Also the refrigerator had an ice block that could of sunk the Titanic and someone left Bologna & cheese from god knows when in there.?

We have no complaints about the staff; they were always friendly and helpful. The building and our room need upgrading. The carpet on the stairs and in the hallways is a very ugly pattern, is dirty and has a smell. The room we were in lacked features normally found in motels. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It has really a garish, unpleasing pattern on the shower walls, and the apparent leaks on the shower floor were poorly patched. The lighting over the mirror was insufficient to do makeup or groom hair. The bed sheets are cheap and thin, and the elastic corners wouldn’t stay tucked in. There were white spots on the bedspread; who knows what that is. The complementary breakfast was lacking. All there was to eat was dry cereal, and pre-packaged sweet rolls, coffee and tea, no waffles, no fruit, no way to make toast. We had to eat breakfast out at a restaurant.

This place is directly out of the inter-city of Deli. We spent four nights here, and this is what we experienced: I had to yell at the manager to get our room cleaned. No clean towels, the fire alarm was pulled out of the ceiling, the front desk person refused to get the manager, window screens were falling out of the windows, parking was very tight, I had to call the front desk to get the instructions on operating the television. Unless you plan on checking in late evening and checking out early morning, I would highly recommend finding another place.

We needed an early check-in and the owners went out of their way to make it happen. Even going so far as to call my cell phone when the room was ready rather than us just hanging out in our car. Wonderful service!

Felt like a “seedy” motel, broken tile, dark narrow hallways, no locking, fan in bathroom didn’t work, light on mirror not working, caulking dirty, noise from small refrigerator kept us awake until unplugged, torn up parking lot, general feeling was questionably safe, property was in bad condition. Good location close to Interlochen, that was our destination.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. I stayed there 10/17 and noticed on 10/23 that I had all sorts of itchy red bug bites on my neck and arms. Bedbugs can take up to 2 weeks to show signs of the attack. I should’ve been wary earlier since my boyfriend found an earwig on the headboard. There was no working fan or hair dryer in the bathroom and we weren’t given enough towels either. Front reception was friendly at least. Breakfast was coffee and packaged muffins.

For the $200 a night, it was not very good. Squeaky beds, no light or fan unit above mirror in bathroom. Advertised continental breakfast - there wasn’t any. Very basic room. Outside area look old and not maintained. Both signs by road were either hanging crooked or sitting on the ground. Will not be returning to this econo lodge.

Would not recommend staying here. Our room had a weird smell to it that I couldn’t quite identify. The room was spacious but furnished poorly. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and made it hard to see. There was a very small continental breakfast included with our stay. But it was very limited and some of the machines were broken.

Property is not as described. There wasn’t a breakfast buffet. It was only muffins, cereal, sunny d and coffee. Please put ice water out at breakfast for people to cool their coffee off. We needed to out to eat. It was an extra expense we had not expected. The door to my bathroom was coming off the hinges and the window track had mold growing in it and above it. Over all the place is run down. For the price I expected more.

This was a one night stay to be close to a concert venue. The property outside has not been kept up, the entrance door is propped up and sitting next to the the entrance. the grass had not been cut, the outside has not been maintained. The carpets we not vacumed in the hallway. The room itself was clean. there was cups and coffee packs but no coffee maker, the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water for a shower. the breakfast was just cereal and oatmeal, juice and coffee and tea but only served on weekends. I would not stay here again, not worth the price.

The place appeared clean at first sight. I ended up with 2 cockroaches on my nightstand, so I slept with the lights on. The sink produced hot water, but I could get nothing over 60 degrees out of the shower. I tried the handle in every position and kept it running for roughly 15 minutes. I ended using a wash cloth with the hot sink water to wash up after a very uncomfortable stay. 2 containers of identical off-brand Cheerios were offered along with Styrofoam muffins for breakfast.

Chris was really friendly and approved an early check in for us. But once we checked into our room we found that there were dead roaches smashed on the back of the door and there were 3 HUGE spiders hanging out in our room. 2 were in the bathroom (crawling in the shower and ivwr the toilet) and the other was above the coat closet area. We informed the staff and packed up and went to another hotel.
