I had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. I love that this hotel had a restaurant, bar and store/cafe. The amenities were awesome! The pool was relaxing and fun. There were no long waits for elevators. The staff were friendly and hospitable. It was a great stay!

It was a great location in downtown Minneapolis as we were attending a Vikings game. Lobby looked stellar, staff was on point and the restaurant offered excellent ambience, service and value. Parking was simple at $30/day come and go. My son even found a basketball court on the 6th floor and you could use the court 24 hours a day. The room was nice, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend and stay there again in the future.

Older, run down hotel that was not as advertised. Mattresses are old, noisy, and uncomfortable, making a good night's sleep almost impossible. Fridge didn't work properly and was dripping water. No fan in the bathroom made for steamy conditions when getting ready. We stayed for two nights and our room was not made up after the first night. When we asked for new towels and our bottles of water (not even for the room to be cleaned), we came back to find two bath towels and three bottles of water had literally been tossed into the room, landing either on the floor or in my open suitcase. We did not receive any hand towels or washcloths, despite needing them. I'm generally a pretty easy going traveller all things considered, and in isolation, any one of these issues on its own likely wouldn't have been a big deal. Put them all together and it makes for a less than ideal experience.

The area, was to be expected, the property itself was nice and the staff at the front desk was polite, professional and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing for a Hyatt property. There was hair on the floor in the room that didn’t not match us (looked like someone shaved there galea’s and no one vacuumed). There was also hair in the bathroom and yellow stains on the bed sheets.

First of all, I've been to this hotel four times, and each time it gets worse. I'll start by saying that my reservation was made through Expedia. It was a huge problem at check-in because the receptionist isn't very knowledgeable, and when I spoke to her boss, it got worse because she wanted to double-charge me the money they take for any inconvenience. Plus, parking gets more expensive every day because they charge you for every entry and exit, which is terrible since it's under construction and it was quite overwhelming to park my truck. We always stay at this hotel because my children and their friends, who came with us this time, love to play basketball, and having a court available is great. But this court is getting more neglected, dirty, and hotter every day (we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, and the manager said no, because it could affect other guests. Which guests? That area is the loneliest and most dangerous in the entire hotel). When we got to the room and wanted to take a shower, it turned out the tub started to flood, and we had to wait almost 40 minutes before the others could shower. The tub was full of mold and rusty things. It was obvious they haven't given it the necessary maintenance. In the end, they fixed it. Breakfast is not included, and going to the buffet was the most unpleasant and expensive thing I've ever paid for, since it was a simple continental breakfast, which is included in any hotel. I will never book at this hotel again.

The walls a very thin. The room next to us had loud music playing until after 4am. I contacted the desk twice and security stopped by their room but they just continued the music after security left. The front desk barely mumbled a “sorry about that…” as I was leaving. Parking is astronomical. Absolutely insane to pay $30/ night for a hotel you are staying at. The restaurant inside is pricey. There are few alternatives in the area and it doesn’t feel safe to walk around, especially after dark. Inside the hotel is like a maze. Many rooms are quite far from the elevators. The guest elevators take a LONG time to come. When leaving, we probably waited 10 minutes before we made it downstairs. The first 2 elevators were too full to get on. Despite having 5 elevators in the bank, they are very slow. The only reason I stayed here is because the Sheraton across the street isn’t open yet. I hope to never have to return to this hotel.

The sink in our room was clogged and the water pooled un able to go down rendering the sink unusable. A maintenance person came and fixed it . This is the first time we ever had this happen at any hotel.

We sat in an empty restaurant for 8 minutes, servers seeing us, standing around, changing tv channels, and didn’t get served. The hotel provided coupons for the poor service, but we dined elsewhere during our stay.

I got double charged for incidentals. I got double charged for valet - they did refund the second day. Check in at 3 pm - room wasn’t ready until 530 I ordered the vip suite. Pictures in Expedia are misleading. This isn’t one giant room. It’s two completely separate rooms that takes two different keys. Only reason I may think about coming back is the full court basketball court. Super bummer.

I unfortunately will not be staying here again. As a guest of the hotel I should have not had to pay full price for valet parking because the hotel can’t accommodate guest with adequate parking when there is an event at the hotel. Poor customer service was also a big issue. I think the person was very new and didn’t have enough training to be on her own.

Upon checking in for a recent stay, we were given a room with one king bed even though we had reserved (nearly three month earlier) a room with 2 queen beds (for 3 of us). We immediately returned to the front desk to tell them we had the wrong room and the desk clerk responded: "I know." She then disappeared into the back room for about 5 minutes and then a manager appeared to tell us there were no 2-bed rooms available because "their inventory was sold out." He didn't try to explain why our reservation had not been honored. Instead, he offered to bring a rollaway bed into the room which, given the size of the room, would have had us stepping over each other to get into/out of bed. When we refused that, he looked stammered for a bit before disappearing again (to check his system) and eventually found a second room, that he could let us have at a discount. Tired of debating it with him, we accepted, even though it meant paying almost $200 more than we already had. The really annoying part was that nobody ever offered an apology for messing up our reservation. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this hotel.

The Hyatt Regency is 2 blocks from Orchestra Hall and 4 to the heart of downtown. Located in a green space, it is a 15 minute walk to Loring Park, the Walker Art Center and Sculpture Garden and a 25 minute walk to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Perfect for my interests. There are different kinds of restaurants within blocks and there is a Target store that sells groceries within 5 blocks. As the city is very walkable, with minimal traffic, it was ideal for solo sightseeing. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I will, definitely, return to this hotel on my next trip to Minneapolis.

This is a quality, beautiful, and quiet hotel. The employees are professional and kind. We were in town for concert at U.S Bank and walked from the hotel. I felt safe. The parking ramp is very convenient. We would stay here again.

We were heading to Minneapolis for a Vikings game. But added Twins tickets also. This is a very quick, few minute walk to Target field and about 20 minute walk to US Bank stadium. Easy, very safe feeling walks. A few restaurants nearby and a Target not too far away. Everything we needed within walking distance without feeling unsafe. There is a restaurant in the hotel. It was nice and the staff was pleasant. It was clearly short staffed and so waits were a little long, but the staff remained pleasant despite working hard. Can’t blame the staff who show up. All around good stay.

Nice, modern hotel. Affordable and fairly comfortable. I don't think the AC in my room wasn't working very well. I turned the fan on high and turned it as low as it would go but I felt like my room was hot and I kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling hot. I did not reach out to the staff because I didn't spend much time in my room during the day. The parking was fine but the walk was rather long from the elevators. I tried to access the parking garage on other floors but it seemed like you could only access it on floor 1. The sign said you could access it on 2 or 3 (do not remember which) and when I tried I got lost and gave up. The breakfast was not good in my opinion. I got a free ticket when I checked in but it was not good so I didn't buy breakfast on any other day. The breakfast was fancy-looking but the eggs were a little chewy, and the french toast was kind of hard and stale. The decor was modern and enjoyable. The TV was huge and had the option to google cast from your phone to the tv.

Overall an excellent stay - due to occupancy we were unable to get the buffet and then the food option I chose was limited due to running out of food and then when it came out it was still missing the mushrooms - a little bummed there but the rest was really good. Quiet and beautiful hotel. Would recommend overall!

The room was dusty, the air conditioning was ruined and the temperature was between 73 and 74, the mattress was completely sunken on one side, it was very old, I had back surgery almost a year ago, a lot of discomfort, the worst thing was the next day, my husband's birthday, we went to breakfast, we chose the buffet, there was no bread, the fruit plates were empty, the coffee was very bad and cold, very little variety, we could hardly eat, we paid almost $70.00, I had to run to the room with diarrhea to the point of dehydration, terrible hotel español ingles
