I did not stay here. The room wasn't ready and we weren't able to utilize the pool. That was the main reason for us not staying there.

Place looks like it never changed sheets smells really bad pool was green said free breakfast but it didn't an your more than likely to get sick if you eat there

This place is a dump. We left the property as soon as we saw a roach in the lobby. The swimming pool was a black cess pool. We did not stay there. We stayed at the Hampton next door. I will be filing for a refund with Expedia since they misrepresented this property.

When booking this room we had driven 1200 miles on motorcycles. We wanted a pool! The pictures shown for the rooms are not the rooms there. They smelled horrible, the floor in our rooms were dirty, it felt damp in the room. We had to go buy spray and cleaner just to get some rest. The pool wasn’t open, the cover was still on it. We wanted a refund because of the horrible conditions and was told Expedia would have to do that. We left at 6am, continental breakfast was a joke! Total false advertisement! Haven’t booked with Expedia in a long time , don’t know if I will again. We will see how this is handled!

The room had an ice bucket, but there was no functioning ice machine or safety bag in the bucket. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, but no dresser drawers for clothing. Don’t stay there, breakfast was terrible, no ice machine, no soda machines, tv didn’t work, shower caulk area was so dirty it looked like mold and a/c unit would not keep desired temperature.

Hotel was filthy. Room appeared to not have been cleaned in years. Made reservation based on pool and pet friendly. Pool was closed. Garden next to pool looks like people live on property full time. Parking lot was filthy. Trash and stray cats all over. Horrible smell in room. Just completely unsatisfactory for Wyndam.

I called ahead and asked about a pool and the lady said yes we have a pool so I assumed it was open. After check in I asked about the pool and was told it wasn’t up and running til the next week. I told the guy I was told differently and he said they have a no refund policy. Then we get everything in our room and my friend can’t get the tv going. So the guy comes and he can’t get it going either. Tried 2 different times for about a half an hour. Then he said I have to move you. We had a lot of stuff to move and asked for a refund again. He said he can’t do that. So we went to the new room. And the tv broke momentarily but started again. The bed smelled and the room was not clean. Don’t stay here!!

Where do I start.. pool is closed, stain on shower curtain which resembles blood. Bathroom door would not stay closed.

There is flies in the pastry stand no ice on the premises. He wanted to check my room before I get my hundred dollar deposit back will not be staying there again.

The room was filthy, very outdated. We did not feel safe, door didn’t shut all the way and they were a lot of people just roaming the parking lot. We left and found a room down the road!

The worse hotel stay ever. I’m sorry to say it! I’m not a complainer! Room had a very strong bleach smell and irritated our eyes, but floors were dirty and looked like piles of debris were swept aside but not picked up. Every piece of metal was badly corroded. The security latch for the exit door was pulled out of the wood trim and was just hanging on the bolt. Leather hassock was worn and torn. Water out of the tap was rusty color, so we dare not make coffee and did not trust the breakfast because of it, meager as it was. Web said the rooms were sound proofed. It was very noisy most of the night. The bed was comfortable and it looked clean. This just was not the way a vacationing couple wants to spend a refreshing night on the road.

The light by window was hanging by the wire. The towels had hair on them :/. The coffee maker, air unit, and several other items were covered in dust and filth. We were here after Morgan Wallen concert and didn’t check in until 12:30am. If we didn’t have over a 3 hour ride home, we would have left. The check-in lady was very friendly. We let the check-out person (male) know about the damage, he acted as if aware, and waited for us to say more (like we wanted our money back)… we just wanted to not be charged for the damage, and cut our losses.

The washclothes we dark stained as if used to clean with. There were stains on the floor in the bathroom. The toilet was loose.

Recently updated. Floor was so dirty that when I dripped water loading the refrigerator I wiped it up and the towel was filthy. We went in the room and the lights and clock didn’t work. They changed the light bulbs and got them working but didn’t have a replacement clock. Hairdryer didn’t work. Black hairs in the shower and on the soap dispensers. Bed was comfortable but sheets and spread were stained.

Room was over all just dirty and needed a good cleaning. Beds were comfy though.

This place was an absolute dump. Some of the rooms had busted out windows. There was mold in the bathroom. It clearly had not been swept in god knows how long and there were dead bugs all over the place. There was a rotting loose leaf tomato in one of the drawers . There was some sort of orange/yellow residue all over the wall near the bed that looked like vomit. It took almost 45 minutes for the water to get lukewarm. The bedding was stained and had cigarette burns in it. The towels were not clean at all. The staff was great and very kind but the hotel itself is absolutely terrible.

I know you won’t share my review, and thats fine. Just typing this for the owner to read and know. The check in was easy, desk manager was friendly and helpful. But I gave all one star because we couldn’t even stay here. Floors were dirty, toilet seat was greasy, couldn’t even wash our hands because there was hairs on the soap dispenser. Hair and dust and gunk under the beds. The room was hot, air conditioner wasnt even on. Theres a gap at the bottom of the door. This is just what we saw the total of 15 minutes we were there! My kids were afraid to sit on the beds. Im just being honest and its not brutal. This hotel is in a great location, easy to get to and find. But if you want more business you gotta improve. This place was gross. Maybe some people are ok with that but im sorry me and my family were not! We didnt make a scene or a fuss, we aren’t that type of people but i thought you all should know. Thank you

ROACHES Exremly Limited Breakfast Options. Cable TV is good. Roaches ruined my stay (they are everywhere in the room) (didn't see them anywhere else, only in my room). No, they did not come with me. I'm allergic to roaches, so my home is roach free. That's a fact.

The lamps were rusted and it smelled of mildew. The bed was hard.

Beds were too high for a short person with bad legs.

the bed was to high so when you get into it it stratched against the floor and made a terrible noise everytime you moved. Not the hotels fault but the electricity went off for about 2 hours that was not fun. Probably would not stay again.

I like that it was quiet and easy to get to right off the interstate. The only problem we had is the refrigerator kept making a ticking noise, but other than that, everything was good.

Can only describe this room as unacceptable. Beautiful floor if someone would wash it. Bed was a mattress on a metal spring which was set on a platform. Squeaked loudly when you got in or out of bed. Advertising cable TV. Six stations available. 3 of them are the same. I could go on but am just going to try to forget last night!

The price was good and the location was ideal as I was driving from Gulf Shores to St Louis. The actual hotel itself was underwhelming. Definitely a motel and not a hotel.

The room was started with remodeling but not finished ex rusty lamps unpainted doors trimboards,etc. Room had a musty smell along with the refrig. BUT the bathroom was clean along with the bedlinens. The neighbors next door was noisy but i had stopped because i was sick and it meet my needs for that might.

More of a motel. Towels at back door of dining area, not sure why. Very quiet until around 6 am when noise of hotel customers (who were obviously contractors from the many trucks) got up to go to work. Breakfast looked nice but i dont eat it. The area where they excelled was their staff. Both young men, night & morning managers, were extremely helpful and gracious.

I asked for a shower chair in the room and they never brought one to the room stated that Expedia the third party did not communicate that I needed it. Breakfast was a joke. Choices were limited for breakfast. No TV for my first day and half of the second day claimed it was something wrong with the computer network.

Upon checking in the room key I was given was to room 206. I put the key in the door and how about people are in the room looking at me like I was breaking in. I apologized and ran out of the room back downstairs to the front desk and told the guy he acted like he didn’t care but ended up giving me a new room 222 I got comfortable in that room until I pull the sheets back and there was blood on the sheets so I had to go back to the front desk and they didn’t have any rooms left but they did come change the sheets. Checking out this morning I was awakened by a constant knock at the door an entire half an hour before checking out come to find out it was two of the workers little kids being told to knock on the door and they didn’t stop and we checked out well before checkout time. What pissed me off the most was the little girl telling her mom that we were mad because they were knocking at the door. That little girl should most definitely not be at work playing at peoples doors. This place was disgusting I took pictures to prove it. The lamp was so rusty, curtains were broken. The tv is old as hell

very nice young woman got us checked in quickly after a delay with previous customer. Room was clean but TV was hard to figure out Lana from front desk came and set it all up for us, She was very friendly and helpful again!!

The gal checking us in, stayed on a personal Al phone call with her mother the whole time. In my opinion… Rude & unprofessional. We arrived just before 10pm and the first room we were assigned was freezing as the temp outside was only 40 degrees and the heat was shut off. After an hour of trying to warm the room up with a heating unit cranked to 90 and the air compressor for the A/C continuously kicking on and blowing cold air… I finally called down to the front desk. The gentleman that was now on shift, was very accommodating and immediately moved us to a different room with working heat. We didn’t bother seeing what the breakfast included in the morning, so gave Jo opinion on that.

This hotel was an awful choice. They had the parking lot completely full of orange cones, as they had redone it sometime in the last 2 weeks. It was not freshly done. The African American woman at the desk was rude. They charged us for our service dog, refusing to budge in discussing it. At night, the back parking lot was full, lots of people walking around, going on & out of rooms. There was definite drug activity going on. I did not feel safe at all. There was junk, trash, & random cleaning implements everywhere in the walkways with no attempt to improve the look of the place. They were "remodeling." *Unable to upload pics, believe me- it's utterly trashy.

Immediately when I walked in the office staff was not friendly or welcoming but immediately let me know that even though I had booked through Expedia there was an additional $50 deposit that needed to be paid. When we finally made it to the room it was dusty and there were stains covering almost everything I could see. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking and all of the appliances were covered with rust! It was appalling! I didn’t want to touch anything. This motel should be shut down going on the state of the room I was in! I would not recommend anyone stay at this location!

My 18 year old daughter and I were traveling home from Nashville and booked a room at the Baymont Inn and suites, Grenada, MS. We arrived around 8:30 pm. The motel (definitely NOT an “inn and suites”) was up a hill and tucked behind a strip mall with vape and tatoo business and next to a Walmart. The parking lot was extremely dark and sketchy. In addition, there were several people milling around including a large man with tattooes smoking with an undershirt on. The rooms were all outside entry. Traveling as two women alone, we felt extremely unsafe. I was worried about leaving my daughter in the car to go talk to the front desk and my daughter was too frightened to get out of the car and come with me. We elected to keep driving and booked another stay in Madison, MS through Hotels.com. This resulted in us having to spend money on another hotel. I messaged Hotels.com as soon as we were safely checked into the safe hotel. The manager at the Baymont motel has refused to refund our payment and questioned how I could have felt unsafe in the parking lot of the motel. I would not recommend Baymont or this motel to my worst enemy. He said he didn’t care if I left a review, so here it is. Do not book this motel!

The staff was nice and friendly, I liked the room however the sheets looked could have looked better. The breakfast was terrible and the lights were turned off when I went for breakfast. I ended up skipping breakfast

The tv didn’t work but we were told before we checked in. The towels were stained and very rough. Breakfast was ok if you like Tang. They served round eggs, biscuits and sausage. Only milk and coffee and Tang. Hot water took forever to get hot in the shower. The floors were nice and the tall bed comfortable.

The front desk attendant was awesome. Our room was subpar. Desperately needed to be swept and mopped. Smelled like stale smoke. Breakfast was basically non existent. It was just a quick overnight stay.

I would recommend this property for those looking to visit Grenada on a budget. The location is close to shopping, entertainment, food, and sightseeing. For this prime location, the price to stay here is a steal. The staff is very responsive to issues that one may have, and the complimentary buffer breakfast isn't too bad. Again, this is a not-frills-stick-to-the-basics hotel offering and it will work just find for those that want a nice stay without the financial pinch.

No breakfast even though it is advertised. Found a nose ring behind the sink faucet and bought our own towels as the ones in the room were stained or dirty, unable to tell. Flooring was starting to pop up and was duct taped down. Rate was good, the grounds around we're clean, bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Our room was overpowered by bleach. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast, but there wasn't. There was no juice and grey sausage patties.

Check in was easy and the check in person was very cordial and personable. The condition of the room, not so much. The shelf above hanger rack was covered in construction dust. The bathroom looked like it was left partially refurbished. Every piece of metal in the room, from the metal lamp bases to any metal shelving covered in rust. The breakfast only consisted of cereal, some bread for toast or a biscuit with a sausage available. Pretty pitiful, even for a motel breakfast. My wife and I are not really fussy and the price was good but....
