A nasty mattress on the pull-out couch, rude night staff, handicapped lift for the pool did not have the battery charged and the staff were not able to charge it or know how to work the lift. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The manager did offer a refund for all the problems we had. very unhappy!!!!

The hotel is easy to get to with plenty of parking on site. There are several places to eat nearby, including a nice Mexican restaurant directly across the street. It’s clean and quiet, and reasonably priced. This is the third straight year I’ve stayed here coming home from a business trip:

The location is favorable because it is not sandwiched in with other motels and clusters of retail establishments. The breakfast bar was good, the exercise room useful and access to hospitality staff excellent. Unfortunately, there was a musty odor in the room probably because the carpets weren't clean. The pool appeared ready to use, but when the sunlight shined on the surface, we could see hair and other foreign particles. It was "off-season", but the pool wasn't totally ready for customer use.

Very simple but nice hotel. Pool was great, rooms were very nice and breakfast was excellent. We checked in around 6 and enjoyed a very nice meal at the mexican place across the street (road was not busy at all, had no trouble crossing the road) and then took the kids to the pool for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. Very clean, warm room. Had a great shower with plenty of pressure from the shower head, shampoo and conditioner is mounted in the shower, nice warm water. Slept great, very quiet. Sheets and pillows were very comfy. Enjoyed a big breakfast with plenty of options. No complaints at all!

Elevator broke on Saturday and we were on 3rd floor. I was traveling with my sister who was not able to go up steps. Once i got her up the stairs on Sunday morning she couldn't go back down until Monday when we checked out. Then Sunday our keys didnt work so i had to go up and down all these steps to get this straight. It was a terrible experience

Across the street from a Mexican restaurant. Very easy to get to everything. Great exercise room … I used the treadmill both evenings. Great breakfast and lemon water and coffee 24/7. Nice TV and shower was great. Enjoyed our stay …

Nice and friendly staff at check in, parking had room for all cars and the hotel was sold out/no vacancy posted. Breakfast was normal for this chain, coffee available all day long in the lobby and it was good. There was a strong odor of cleaning agents in the hall and the room, the bed headboard was dirty (head marks/hair oils) on the headboards, the restroom had as weird shaped counter and the toilet roll holder was tucked back behind the toilet - the toilet seat was tweaked likely from users trying to access the roll and twisting on the seat. Lastly the corners of the restroom were dirty, as if the mop water collects there and is not wiped clean. Mostly clean but these minor details stood out.

We found bed bugs in both the beds and they refused to give us another room… we found over 5 bed bugs and showed them to the front desk. They did nothing or switch rooms or refund us. Do NOT stay here!

The bed was comfortable and once we got the heater going it felt good in the room. The bathroom floor didnt seem clean as there were little bits of paper around the toilet. Also was popcorn on the sofa. The breakfast was good with good choices. We were unable to get anyone to answer the front desk phone on the morning so had to go in person to ask. It was an ok stay especially for the price.

There was black mold all over our room. You can tell they painted over it in the bathrooms. But they didn’t even bother to clean it off the windows. I left feeling shortness of breath and nauseous from it.

Kurt at the front desk was very nice. The bed was the worst I have ever tried to sleep in. The mattress sunk down in the middle and hit the box springs!!!!! We got no sleep because of the mattress and the room was facing a major intersection with road noise all night long. Front desk said they would compensate us for the problems, but that did not happen.

I asked for a quiet room and was given a super room on the 3rd floor away from everything. The room was clean, the bed was truly very comfortable, the shower water pressure and heat were outstanding, and the big bath towels were not scratchy. For a little over $100, this was one of the best hotel values I've experienced in awhile (and I travel thru NC, SC, and TN several times a year).

When arriving there was no one at the desk and we waiting 15 minutes plus for someone to check us in. There was multiple other people waiting after us and the person didn’t even bother to apologize about the wait. We also had to ask for bedding for the pull out couch and had another wait of 10 minutes. The room was as expected for a 1 night stay. Nothing special but nice enough to rest for the night.

I was so impressed!! The staff is friendly and went above and beyond for us. I messed up our return date by a day, and they switched it for me with zero hassle and zero annoyance in their tone. The property is nice and clean, and the lawn maintenance was impeccable. The only turn off was the condition of the pool area. It was quite dirty with lots of spiders and such in the corners, but I’ve found that most places are the exact same. Kids still had a blast swimming! I would go back here over and over! Fantastic experience!

We stayed here for 2 nights with family. We arrived at the hotel much earlier than check-in time but we were able to check in early due to help from the front desk staff. She was very friendly, professional and accommodating. She made sure our room was clean and ready. Breakfast was very good as well. I would recommend this to family and friends

Easy access off of US 52 Bypass. Major roads to downtown Mt Airy easily accessible. The building as a whole beginning to show its age. But it is apparent from cleanliness overall the the stall and management are doing a good job to make it useful and presentable.

Two items need to be mentioned. The place was neat and clean. The tub had grab bars. The worst part was that he breakfast area was far too small and most crowded both time we went for breakfast. Clean and comfortable. The 2 double beds though really are full sized and not queen. The breakfast was okay, but not great. More variety than many hotels, but the cooked food was not hot and the fresh fruit was not very fresh. Compared to other ‘convenient for travel’ hotels, it was above average.
