For the weekend of Fourth of July, the rooms were nice. The desk service was nice but the room definitely needed an upgrade utensils were very rusty couch with stained couldn’t use the pool was way overcrowded and nobody was watching it so people did what they wanted. Couldn’t use the grills because people hugged them. There were young kids drinking and smoking all around the premises. You have to pay for parking.

Second stay at this property. Went for 2 nights for business last week, and it was so nice I went back for 3 more nights this week. The property is modest but lovely. It’s appointed nicely, and the grounds are spectacular. Gated pool open 10am-8pm, lovely patios and covered area with a grill for the guests, and a basketball court (all outdoors). Restaurant and bar on-site open 5pm-10pm. Cute 24hr snack area, including a selection of wines and beers. Staff is exceptional. Professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, always ready to say “good morning” or “good night”. First visit was a Queen Suite, this time a King suite. Older appliances but nice sized fridge/freezer, 2-burner electric stovetop, dishwasher, dishes, a few pots and pans, silverware and a thing or two of cookware, including corkscrew. King Suite is two separate rooms, very large living room area, nice sized bedroom, vanity with sink, then bathroom. Shower is narrow but efficient. Bed was super comfy, linens crisp and problem-free. I didn’t need maid service because I only slept maybe 6 hours a night and worked the rest of the time, but housekeeping was always present, including slipping a note under my door mid-stay encouraging me to invite them in whenever necessary. They have conference space (may be limited), directly next to great Indian food, Jersey Mike’s, Dunkin. Check in and out quick and easy. Will 100% stay again.

Not super thrilled with this hotel. Here are the pros and cons. Breakfast is gross. The hallways on the floor I was on smelled like urine the first couple of days. The bed and pillows are not great at all. Pros are the front desk staff at check in was very good and the hotel was very close to where I needed to go. The rooms have the living space so I could easily workout in that space. That’s it.

We checked in at 10pm after a long day of flying just to get a few hours of sleep before driving home. There was trash in the hallways and it smelled but once we got to our room there were dead bugs on the kitchen and bathroom tile. There were probably bugs on the carpet as well that we couldn’t see. There was no soap in the bathroom and the front desk made me come get it even though there were two people working and someone on housekeeping. They clearly could care less about the guest experience. We could overlook the party going on in the lobby and the people hanging out in the dark parking lot but the condition of the room was absolutely disgusting.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The bathroom was absolutely filthy it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in quite some time. The lights in the living room area didn’t work, leaving the room dark and uncomfortable. On top of that, there was only one chair in the entire suite, so we couldn’t even sit down together to eat. To make matters worse, there was a strange, unpleasant smell coming from the carpet and cabinets that made the whole room feel unclean. For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. I expected a basic level of cleanliness and functionality, and this hotel failed on every front. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

If you have other options, go there. This property needs some renovating to bring it back to life, and management could to lead their team to higher standards of cleanliness. Upon walking up to the entrance there were a lot of cigarette butts on the ground. The floors in the elevator were dirty as well as the third floor when we got off the elevator. Our room was dark and just felt run down. There were dark red stains on the carpet, the bathroom door would not close, and then when we walk out of our room the next morning, there are trash cans under a leak in the roof. I have little kids and am very disappointed in the condition of this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone unless it’s the only choice.

Unfortunately, this hotel is quite a bit older. One thing to know is that all the Hyatt houses in Hyatt in the area are now charging for parking. I booked this before they started charging for parking. So just a heads up if you don’t know it when you get there you will have to pay for parking. The hotel itself could use some updating. The plugs in the lamps are not strong enough to support a USB cord to charge anything. It could just use a little bit of updating and new technology. The couch in our room was so old that when you sat on it, you sunk really deep in to an empty base. The coffee maker look like it went through the war so I didn’t use it. The whole room could’ve used a giant deep clean.

I stayed at the Hyatt House as tye host hotel for the event I went to was sold out. That was the best thing to happen. For starters HH has breakfast! I stay at HH when I can and this was great. The selection wasnt vast; it was very tasty though. My room was amazing queen bed wity sofa bed and kitchen area, and a desk. I had sufficient space for myself. I even made it to the gym. Should I return for tye same event .... I will book at HH and take tye min drive to the host hotel.

Loved the layout of the room and lighting (softer lamps vs the more modern harsh ones). Room was clean and very spacious with large windows. The only thing that threw me off at first was the paid parking of $15/night. The rates for the room were cheaper than I would have expected for that area and on the holiday, so I think it probably came out as usual $$ total. I just never had to pay for parking at a hotel where it is expected you would definitely be staying the night. The lot also wasn’t small or tight at all. Plenty of openings. But other than that, would consider stating again as long as the room rate itself isn’t already higher.

the mattress was very uncomfortable, almost too hard. The same with pillow discomfort. The staff was amazing, the decor was modern. I was situated right outside the pool area which was a bit noisy for my taste. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would return if necessary.

Room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the shower. The only negative about my stay was the person staying in the room next to me opening and closing their door continuously throughout the night. The door slammed and woke me up about 5 times throughout the night causing me to get a very poor night of sleep.

We waited over 20 minutes for the bartender to find a staff person to check us in at the front desk. No one seemed concerned that there were people at the front desk waiting for room keys . Would not recommend this facility to anyone.

The maid service is terrible. I had to put the garage in the hallway every night never changed the sheets or towels. Never replaced anything when it was getting low. I had to get the soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. on my own. Never came in and sweeped the floors. I had to get the towels replaced on my own.

I had to travel a long distance and planned to leave at 3am. Of course, I woke up early and decided to leave even earlier. The front desk staff were concerned I was displeased with my room and wanted to make sure I wasn’t leaving because of an issue with the facility. I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had at Hyatt House Parsippany East. I booked and fully paid for my stay through Expedia, but when I arrived, the front desk staff refused to let me check in unless I canceled my non-refundable Expedia booking and rebooked directly with them. It was clear they were trying to scam me out of more money. Because of this, I was left waiting for hours and ended up late to a wedding. The staff showed zero professionalism or empathy — just excuses and attitude. On top of that, the property itself is in terrible condition: the electricity kept going on and off, the bathrooms barely had any water pressure, and the place looked poorly maintained overall. I strongly advise against staying here. This hotel is dishonest, poorly managed, and completely untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else — this place gives the Hyatt brand a bad name.

The property had amble space in the deluxe room and convenient parking. Close to major rail transit transportation for going into NYC. Not much space for a friendly walk but definitely possible to walk next door to some local plaza. Would recommend for those wanting to visit NYC for a day and staying a reasonable distance away from the city.

Everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. Everything worked as it should. The pool was just the right size, clean, and comfortable. My only recommendation would be having a turkey or beef meat option for breakfast as not everyone eats pork.

The staff was friendly, approaching and helpful when asking about shopping near by and public transportation. Property was clean, all appliances worked properly and the full breakfast provided for free had a variety of cold and hot food options and was very tasty. The chef was personable and came out of the kitchen daily and mingled with all of the guest. My 4 day start was beyond pleasurable and if ever visiting NJ again, that will be my place to stay!!!!!
