Hampton Inn Parsippany

Booked a room with a king size bed but none was available at checkin, even though the hotel was nearly empty. i was also required to surrender a credit card where a large charge was made to cover possible charges for services or amenities. My balance was to be refunded. This is the FIRST TIME I have been subjected to such a procedure and was not warned that this would be part of my reservation. These 2 matters resulted in my overall moderate rating for this stay.

They now charge 15 a night to park. You have to pay via an app.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very nice. A very nice stay.

I think it is a good spot for a quick stop and go place great prices, no hot tub, pool isn’t in the same building, breakfast could have been better very basic. Toilets are extremely low if u have seniors or knee problems be mindful. But ok for the price

It’s ok. I’ve never stayed at a Hampton inn. But as soon as I walked in the room, I banged into the bathroom door, it didn’t stay closed so every time you’d enter, you’d hit it unless it was closed completely. The shower had a curved rod. Unfortunately the curtain didn’t extend and just laid in the middle which left me with 2” of water covering the entire floor. The ceiling light had no fixture. Just a pot light as if they were repairing something. It’s not a huge issue. But I’d like to Not have these issues while spending the money I did for 2 nights. And soon they’ll be an extra cost for parking. So beware. Also the construction right across the road starting before 7 am. Other than that. It met its purpose.
