The staff was very nice and it was a fine place to stay; kind of a generic hotel but that is fine. Parking was confusing; the lot is actually across the street and you have to get a hangtag and then bring it back again to the car which is a bit of an inconvenience.

Property was OK. Nothing spectacular. Checking in and parking the car was a real pain. We had to park on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Unloaded all our luggage to a luggage cart, then my wife had to guard the luggage while I drove around the block to get to the parking garage. The tissue box in our room was half empty and we ran out and had to go down to the lobby to ask for a replacement. Great pool and hot tub! Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Hot water (in all the taps) was dangerously hot.

Rather strange set up. Reception is in the lobby of an office building. Lifts/corridors are shared with other commerce/offices...little feeling that you are in a hotel. The week we stayed the rates were VERY high, may be better value off peak. nice gym,, small indoor pool

The staff was friendly and helpful. The beverages in the lobby for guests was very nice, especially the cold water during the very hot summer days! The free parking was great, but I had to circle the block a few times before I realized that I had to park in the municipal garage. so the explanation for the parking online could be better. The security was good (i.e., no using elevator without a room key and no access to building after hours without a room key), and it was needed because the area had a lot of activity and not all of it made me feel comfortable. My room was spacious and relatively clean, but there were some food particles on the rug and some sticky areas (on floor in the entrance and on one of the bedside tables). The bed was super comfy and the air conditioning worked well. The location is very convenient for doing things in Ithaca. You can walk to many stores and restaurants.

Were told our preferences were not communicated by the third party booking site, but that a king was not available (so how did they know we wanted a king?). However, I was most disappointed that they gave us an accessible room. I have a parent that requires an accessible room and it is extremely frustrating when hotels are NOT full and give them away. The room had a strange smell and the windows are locked. There should have been a beautiful view of the lake, but the curtain's draw string was broken. No view. I wish I had taken more pictures, but the area by the beds had clearly not been cleaned in some time. There was dried rice, candy and other trash under the bed. There was all kinds of hair in the tub. I am sure it could always be worse, but I was extremely disappointed in this $560 room. Very expensive for what we got. Would not stay here again.

The hotel overall was very nice. Down town and close to lots of restaurants and stores. White fuzz was on the floor when i arived and was still under a chair when I left 3 days later. Also, the shower track was disgusting with mold. Cleaning seemed to be surface only. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Every little thing went great. This is the most quiet hotel I've stayed at in years. The staff was very helpful and accurate when a question was answered. And there are viewing chairs set out to look over the lake.

Overall a great experience for our one night stay. Staff was super friendly and very helpful both on the phone and in person. Room had ample space, seperate sleeping, kitchenette, living room, two tvs and two bathrooms. The decor was modern and the blue/silver glass wall is a stunning touch. Furniture/bed was comfortable and well maintained/clean. Location is perfect for walking to any of the local venues/attractions and there is a nice restaurant off the lobby. Highly recommend Hilton Garden!!

Great location within short walking distance to Ithaca Commons restaurants, free parking (with hotel validation) in the parking garage around the corner, room was clean, lots of desk space to do computer work, microwave to heat food, good water pressure in shower. Water pressure in sink however was low. Lighting was a bit harsh and limited (bright white light in floor & desk lamp, no dimmers, non-adjustable neck on desk lamp). Overall served our purpose for visiting the area well.

Staff were great, our room had been recently redone, everything was in good repair. Bed was comfortable, towels were soft (yay!) and pillows were in good shape, although I am a side sleeper and I really appreciate at least one side sleeping pillow in the room. One minor complaint: the lighting in the bathroom was on a single switch, and when on it was blindingly bright. This is great for impromptu surgery, and fine for daytime, but awful for the middle of the night. Nighttime lighting, especially in the bathroom, is so useful in a hotel room, and missed when absent. At the very least, maybe include a night light?

We booked 1 King bed online but at check-in, the lady said there were none available and gave us 2 queen beds. She was very unhelpful rectifying the situation. Would not come back here again.

Front desk person wore a mask -- very off-putting given it makes understanding what they say difficult and also because research is quite clear that masks are of no benefit in the prevention of virus transmission. Public-facing personnel should NOT be wearing masks. Next, the two mornings we were at the hotel the coffee urn in the lobby was EMPTY both times between 6:30AM-7:30AM. I don't know whose responsibility it is to be sure there is always coffee available, but that person failed their responsibilities completely. Further, it took more than 15 minutes to get the urn refilled. VERY poor service. Next, the room desk light a glaring and not physically adjustable in any useful way. Next, we had two queen beds. If there are 2 people in a queen bed, there is no night stand or outlets next to the outside side of each bed. How are they to store things like mobile phones, room key, wallets, etc. close at hand?

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. The Ithaca Commons are right across the street from the main entrance, with loads of shopping and dining options in a great pedestrian-only area. There were multiple bike-share bikes available just across the street from the hotel. There is a major TCAT bus station just across the street if you want to get around without your car and if you do need your car the parking garage for the hotel is right across the street. My three young daughters all loved walking around Ithaca and they loved the playground in the middle of the Commons. The hotel is comfortable and clean with a great staff and the location is fantastic.

Stayed 2 night when looking at colleges. Easy to get to both Cornell and Ithaca college. Clean, quiet and easy to walk to many restaurants. Staff was friendly. We have no complaints.

Great hotel for our son's swim meet. Great location near shops and food. The only downer was no food before 7 am and the coffee shop there although said it was open was not. So, we had to buy breakfast for the next day if we wanted something before 7.

The staff was welcoming. The hot tub was great. Breakfast was a little bit of a disaster, my first omelette was burnt, my friends eggs came out cooked sunny side up instead of over easy and with the wrong side, she ordered bacon and they brought out sausage. It took them a long time to fix both meals so we ended up being there for long time. Maybe have breakfast somewhere else!

Room was quiet and clean. Bed comfortable. Room lighting was poor with harsh/exposed bulbs. Would have liked better thermostat. Staff kind and very helpful. Breakfast not great, would recommend Paris Baguette cafe nearby instead. Parking was at Seneca Garage next door, easy in/out, validate ticket at front desk each time.
