The single person(s) at the desk was polite, kind and helpful. The hallway smelled. The toilet clogged. Most importantly the side door to the motel had a broken lock so anyone could walk into the motel. The staff was aware of it- but apparently this lock cannot be fixed.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. They were hairs in the tub when we got there. Hairs on the toilet dirt everywhere. No amenities in the room not even plastic cups.We stayed two nights. The room was not made up in the morning. No fresh towels, no made up beds. It’s shocking how expensive this hotel was for the lack of cleanliness and service. Also no elevator.

No elevator. Some guests appear to be long term renters and heavy smokers. We checked in the hotel around 11 pm and killed at least half dozen German roaches before 7 am the next morning. We would like to attach the photos and videos of the German roaches.

Room at first glance looked clean but upon further inspection it had not been cleaned fully. The coffee machine still had a pod in it from the last person. The drawers held the tray with cups and upon removing them from the drawer, there was a film showing that the drawer had not been cleaned. The refrigerator freezer had not been defrosted. Parking was adequate but there was a pothole marked by an orange cone in the middle of the lot. Bathroom needed a deep clean as did the entire room. I was told the room would be clean since we were staying 2 nights, but the room was not.

You get what you pay for…. sometimes. It’s the cheapest place to stay for a reason. You are greeted with the aroma of tons of weed. I don’t mean dandelions. Couldn’t figure out the tv with the 2 remotes so I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn’t work, not even a dial tone. It was just for decoration. Needed ice but was told the machine was broken, no ice. Shower doesn’t have any slip resistant in tub so good luck with that as it fills up with soapy water because it doesn’t drain as quick as it fills. So maybe you don’t always get what you pay for. Seriously, stay somewhere else for a few bucks more.

Hotel was worth the price. Room was clean. The public bathroom on 1st floor wasn't clean when I arrived. Side door doesn't lock all the time. Employee who checked me in was nice and remembered me from a few months ago when I checked in.

While I understand this is an economy hotel I would NOT recommend staying here. Rates are way too high for what you get. First off they do not answer the phone at all. I tried to call in advance 3 different times and no one at the front desk answers the phone. Our room was dirty, the floors were sticky and there were two gross (I think old blood stains on the bed sheets), the shower had someone else’s hair in the top corner, clearly they don’t clean the rooms properly and need to get a new laundry company. For $100 a night it’s ridiculous. Look at other options in the area.

Room was ok, night stand was dirty had obviously not been wiped down between guests. Many nicks and scratches on furniture Musty smell in room Bathroom counter not wiped down either. Shower curtain rod had been torn down and replaced very poorly. Long hair on the bath towels

The bedroom was clean and so were the sheets. The lobby and reception area and whatever Storage facilities one can look into put me off (tissues on floor right in entrance, cleaning stuff standing around both days). had to find coffeemaker in closet. No outlet near a surface to put coffeemaker on. Anyway, there was only one cup. In the bathroom. All in all very minimal. And not at all cheap for all of this. Beds were good.

I would never recommend this place. Room was not clean, hair all over floors, weird stains on furniture walls etc, leaves inside the ac unit in the room, cigarette burns on the comforter. No soap give o and the body wash container empty. Spoke to property about issues and did not help. Motel is also right next to a road and traffic very loud.

As soon as I walked in the lobby, we could smell marijuana being smoked. The floor in the room was dirty and had not been swept well. The bathroom was so dark I could barely see in there. Please put in brighter bulbs. The whole room was dark, even with the lamps on. There was no light when you walked into the room. you had to walk in the dark all the way to the window to a lamp.

Great location, but subpar room. I understand it is super 8 and a cheaper hotel, but the absolute worst part was the bed. I booked a room that was advertised to have a queen bed, however the one I got was barely a double. It was quite uncomfortable and the pillows were actually half the size of standard pillows. Breakfast was provided, although limited options but no complaints there since it is a cheaper stay and I did not have high expectations. The staff were friendly but did not seem quite familiar with what they were doing. Services and amenities also very limited and of poor quality but that's also understandable. Overall the bummer was the falsely advertised bed size and the pillows, everything else could have been overlooked otherwise.

I like it because its near a food shopping center and you can even walk from the hotel and its just a 100 meters away. What I don’t like is, it is located on a very busy area. You can hear trucks and cars from your room. But over all the place is good.

Thin walls and noisy neighbors. Things a little ragged around the room--torn shower curtain, messy bathtub caulking job, rusty bottle opener missing a screw, and other minor things that add up to a feeling of disrepair. Staff were wonderful at the front desk though

Poor check-in | Uninformed staff | Dirty room. A way-too-long check in process, had to wait about 5 minutes for someone who worked there to actually show up, then they wanted more information from us than any other hotel booking did. Once finally checked in, we went to our room, flipped a light switch that didn’t work just to use our phone flashlight to see it was still dirty. No sheets on the bed, other people’s trash in the trash can. That was enough for us, so we left and asked for a full refund.

When I arrive to check in, the front desk clerk rudely told me I was interrupting his brunch. I politely left came back an hour later. Later that evening, I realize that I did not need the reservation. I immediately contacted the hotel and asked to cancel. They told me there would be one night charge which I agreed to and they confirmed that they would refund the other three nights. Despite follow up phone calls from me and from Expedia tthey have not done as promised and will not refund my money although the cancellation policy says I will only be charged for one night. I would avoid the super eight at all cost!

Actually the Hotels reservation was never in their system! They claimed I never made a reservation sorely disappointed with Hotels.com and the Super 8 Motel. You should investigate why this happened.

Front desk personnel (lady was friendly and helpful) the young man there overnight and a female ahad a huge shouting match after midnight. Our room was handicap accessible and right next to the front desk. Had my phone ready in case it turned into a physical altercation. Awful language. I realize new york is a recreational use state for Marijuana but i even smelled it through the lobby.

No one was even at the desk when we tried to check in around 3. The man was “at lunch” and eventually came back with another guy in an SUV. There were homeless (assuming) people sitting in the grass near the busy road with a pitbull dog. Doors were propped to the hotel and these people were in and out of the hallways all afternoon. Our room looked clean but it smelled like weed. Upon closer inspection of the mattress cover I was completely grossed out. A circuit tripped in the AM leaving us only with a bathroom light and the light from the window. We stayed one night and I’ll never return. Plus side: It was walkable to wegmans and a couple of nice breweries.

Super cheap and incredibly convenient! right next to Wegmans for any food or beverage needs you have. Within minutes walking distance to the Ithaca Commons. Easy Parking, Easy Check-in, Easy Everything!!

Breakfast selection was terrible. One morning, the only cereal was fruit loops. The OJ tasted like Tang. The only bread one day was wheat.....no muffins, no danish. And, the window in the room which is on the first floor does not lock. Also....my card had to be reset everyday....which you don't find out until you get all the way down the hall and can't get in the room. Will take a pass the next time. And, no soap in the shower dispenser. Bad mgmt.
