The staff was great. Our room was clean and looks like it was recently updated. We got a great rate and it included breakfast too. The gym was small but the equipment looked pretty new. We stayed off season and I’m sure it’s very busy in season since it is located within a stones throw from Great Escapes. There are plenty of things to do in town (go carts, mini golf, restaurantsand an ice cream shop right across the street). The outlets are right down the road too. I would definitely stay here again

I stood here because its easy access to the amusement park n Marthas ice cream palor. The kids love the location cause of the two swimming pools n all the shops n eateries in the area. The staff n breakfast was excellent. Will return next year. Love it. Thank you.

Wonderful check in staff, clean room. Parking is easy. Hot tub was amazing. Fire pit out front was a nice touch. Easy few min walk to the great escape and marthas. Breakfast was good, fresh coffee and tea available all day.

It was okay. I understand they are busy and a family hotel, which is why we booked it, but because it was so busy, the pool and hot tub was dirty and thus had to be closed. We never got to use it in the 3 days we stayed there due to "cleaning." We weren't upgraded for our VIP package of food credit every day and when we were at breakfast, we were rushed out at 10 min till 10am when the closed. The staff was visibly upset and vocal about people still there eating as they started to eat the leftovers themselves and break down. Just didn't feel very welcomed there as a mom and single parent traveling.

Loudness in the hallways of the 3rd floor between midnight and 230am. Outdoor pool was not functioning a couple days of our stay which was always disappointing. Overall not a bad experience for our first time staying in Lake George.

BED BUGS!! I'm seeing several reviews about them as well. Clearly their "treatment" efforts are not effective. Front desk was combative about it and not even remotely apologetic. Like she was mad I saw one. We left immediately after seeing the encounter and she was being equally rude about refunding it. I had to have Expedia call them to negotiate. She also kept loudly re-stating that it was only for one night. Okay?? I didn't ask if it was for one night, I asked you to acknowledge that you put my children and our belongings at risk. I'm appalled by not only finding VERMIN on my CHILD, but also their conduct in handling this. The room wasn't clean to begin with. I chalked it up to "maybe my kids somehow messed this up already". I'm now seeing that this place is just a sh*thole. Don't do it. We ended up fleeing to the nearby Hilton and are having a much better experience. It's a shame because I used to stay here years ago and it's gone severely downhill.

This hotel badly needs to be renovated. The rooms have a musty/mildewy smell. The first room we were given was unbearable and we had to move to a different room. The new room smelled slightly better but we had to purchase an air freshener to use for the duration of our stay to cover up the musty smell. The AC unit was noisy and not working properly; it was dripping which is most likely causing the mildew smell on the carpet. The hallways are dirty, the carpet throughout the hotel hallways was obviously not vacuumed the entire time we were there. The staff was friendly but there were not enough staff to keep the hotel clean and operating properly. They need to do soundproofing when they renovate as we heard a lot of noise from the room above. I had stayed here previously when in Lake George and this was a very disappointing return visit to this hotel.

While it was relatively clean, everything in the room had stains. Walls, ceiling, blankets, sheets, pillows, box spring cover, all of it. Paint chipping and peeling in various places on the walls. As for the staff, the desk worker Nikita was GREAT, but aside from that very good. Specifically the breakfast staff was fairly rude and not helpful.

The room was dirty and the sheets were dirty as well. You can tell whom ever cleaned the room did a rush job. The vowrs had hair and lent all over and the bathtoom walls had stains as well. But other than that we were just their for the night. We had to go to walmart to buy sheets and covers hust fidnt wamt to risk laying on the sheets in the room. But location was good. The was plemt of parking . We didnt wat the breakfast . I notifed alot of the guest were up early but not everyome takes hygiene or cleanliness the same as i saw guest and kids couphing over the food and touching items with the same hamds they coupehed on and i deciced to take my family out to golden carrol for breafast. That wasnt the hotels fault.

Very disappointing. Room reeked of mildew and mold. Determined it was coming from the a/c. Upon further investigation, there was visible black mold on the inside of the unit. The smell was so bad (and unhealthy), I just turned it off an had an uncomfortably warm room. There is no channel guide, and the navigation of the TV and channels was terrible. TV also had a blown speaker so the audio was all crackly. Just an overall well below average stay. I am honestly surprised by the high rating this place has. Just some context; I stay in 50-60 mid-level hotels a year (Hamptons, Countrys, HIE, Fairfield Inn, LaQuinta, etc., etc.) so I know what to expect and what not to expect. This place was very subpar by comparison. The question I ask myself; would I stay here again. The answer is no.

Breakfast was okay..they have those quick waffle makers, that's always nice! Beds were 'okay' but not super comfortable. Rooms were nice size, plenty of pillows and linens. AC was a tad loud. Plenty of TV channels.

The room was clean and very spacious with a separate TV sitting area. The kitchen was equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. The building is starting to show its age, but I'd gladly stay there again. The building was up and away from the road, which made it a little quieter. All the staff were very friendly!

Good access to Lake George & Wild Water rafting on the Hudson River. The room was nice enough, a little dated. The bathroom was small but clean. There are a lot of eating options nearby. Breakfast was not good (but the ladies working it were very friendly). One day the only meat available was corned beef hash - no thanks. We came down at 9am and no seats available. Breakfast was pretty awful but free so I guess you get what you pay for. We stayed 1 night for a reasonable price & returned on the weekend and the price per room went up 50% which was a shock.

The hotel seemed to be updated, the breakfast was nice and the firepit seemed lovely. This is right next to Great Escape so that's a plus if you're visiting the park. My one complaint, and it was a big inconvenience, is that the wifi was terrible. I had to work, and this made it much harder to get things done, I ended up having to use my hotspot.

We always love staying here. Great hotel with a great location. My only complaint is I wish the WIFI would work on my gaming console. That being said, this is one of favorite hotels in the area.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent except that the cleaning staff, although they took the tip we left for them on the morning of our second day, failed to clean the room in any way. The beds were unmade for our second night, the trash receptacles were full, etc. We were disappointed at best.

The staff gave a ex-bf a key to my room. He came in my room at 1:00am and threatened my life. This hotel should train their staff desk employees for the safety of my life. It is definitely not safe there! The check in took 35 minutes the front desk girl told me that Expedia and hotel.com means nothing to her, told me my paid room reservation was not there and I would have to re-book. After 25 minutes she miraculously found my reservation. Front desk staff is horrible

Location was perfect for our weekend away to enjoy Six Flags. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable, she gave us great suggestions for activities and places to eat. Breakfast stuff were friendly as well, restocking quickly during breakfast hours, especially when it was busy. We would absolutely stay there again.

Worst front desk experience I’ve ever had. Didn’t have our room that I booked with zero apology. Said if I didn’t like it, I could leave. When I took exception to this request, I was told I could leave. At no time did I use profanity or rough talk. I did raise my voice when I was told I could leave. I was then told to leave or the sheriff would be called. Obscene behavior.

We’re expecting great exprience by the review. But… was disappointed… The room wasn’t clean properly. Breakfast was below average. Omelette and eggs to eat. Sausage was strange to eat. The reception staff is outstanding. They are really nice workers.

Very nice property and convenient; didn’t receive any VIP upgrade, but I was only there for a few nights and only to sleep and eat breakfast, so no worries. Rooms were basic, bathroom was very spacious and modern. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. Coffee 24/7 was awesome, and although I didn’t get to enjoy, the firepit near the entrance was pretty and a nice option. Pool and hot tub looked inviting, but again, didn’t get to use as I was there for the rodeo. The only thing I noticed is that there were many renovations to the actual hotel, but the furniture in the lounge/lobby area was old and the leather was cracking on the ottomans. Not a big deal, but one would think with all of the upgrades completed, maybe get some nice furniture for the front. I sat and drank my coffee every morning there and just thought some new plushy furniture might be in order? Otherwise, great hotel for the price!
