Con: Hotel is a two-story high hotel without an elevator. Pros: Hotel was clean and looked recently remodeled (fresh paint and new flooring). Staff was friendly, breakfast was good with several options (waffle maker, sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal, bagels/toast, yogurt), small bar in lobby, fitness room, and large swimming pool. Location was safe and located near shopping and restaurants/food.

The room was nice, breakfast was good. But the pool was definitely NOT heated, very cold. The pool was how we planned on spending our Saturday. Then the system had our room as not occupied on the second night, someone came to our door trying to get in because they gave her our room for the night. Finally got that situated. For a relaxing weekend getaway, there was more frustration than I have ever experienced at a hotel.

Front desk person couldn't understand English. !st room TV wouldn't work . 2nd room the key stopped working. The pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. No towels were available at pool. Disappointed with my stay there.

The property needs a massive upgrade but for a budget hotel, it is fine. The parking lot is pothole city but there are plenty of spots. Plenty of shopping and dining option steps away. There is a Kroger and plenty of quick service and fast food restaurants.

Check in went very smoothly. Then, down hill from there. The hallways very dirty. Like little piles of dirt everywhere. Especially on the stairs. One of the entrance is taped so anyone can walk in WITHOUT a key. Our hotel room had no conditioner and had someone else hair ties still hanging in the bathroom. States 24 hour coffee in the lobby but at 6 pm no coffee. They said it will be ready in 10 minutes. We returned in 20 minutes there was only 1 coffee cup we asked check in staff where there’s more coffee cups he said find the bar waitress. Or just go behind the bar! There were only 2 people on staff .no cups behind the bar we wondered to the kitchen. The pool is huge! States it heated but it’s not. The pool room is extremely hot but the pool is freezing. Kids still enjoyed the pool. We went to check in and told them there no towels in pool area he told us they are on the rack. There were about 8-10 other families swimming. The pool again is huge so it didn’t feel crowded. There were no towels. Breakfast was fantastic! Waffles, eggs, biscuits, yogurt and different cereals. Just remember you get what you pay for. We wanted somewhere with nice pool and hot breakfast ! Those 2 things were the only best part of our stay.

Check in process very impersonal. Condition of comm areas run down. Room had been recently upgraded but pain drips all over the new floor. The room otherwise was comfortable. Key system worked poorly. Needed cards reset 3 times in 7 days. Not the worst stay ever but left a lot of room for improvement.

The room was filthy. There was dried blood on the sheets and the floor was covered in crumbs. That paled in comparison to the next day, though, when water poured out of the bathroom ceiling from the florescent light. The hotel staff refunded me one night, but refused to cover my first night. I would strongly recommend against staying in this hotel.

The employees were very friendly. However, the bedding had sticky stuff on them. The towels had hair on them. The shower tub had hair in it. The shower also had terrible water pressure and the shower head kept falling down. There was also a lamp that the lamp shade kept falling off.

Bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. Told the front desk staff about clogged drain and issue was resolved when we return to room. Overall property was kind of dirty, and unfortunately, upon departure found a bedbug.

The room was dusty and gross. Bedding was fresh and clean. Kids ran up and down the hallways to 3 AM even after phone calls to the front desk after a little sleep, we chose to go down for the breakfast which consisted of hard bagels burnt scrambled eggs and a waffle maker that look like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1922. That explains why it was empty down there. I am willing to give this hotel another shot but not for while. Changes need to me made.Used to Be my favorite hotel but they are obviously under new ownership

Animal poop on the floor, no clean bedding for pull out beds and the staff gave us the cleaning stuff instead of cleaning rhe animal poop off the floor themselves and no we didn't have animals with us, bathroom trash cans were full and the water in the tub wouldnt drain and the only wanted to give us $50 back for both dirty rooms

Rooms are very obviously not being cleaned at all. We arrived to a filthy room. We then moved rooms since there was no housekeeping staff on site, and the second room was just as bad. Dirty, sticky surfaces and the floors were covered in crumbs, hair, and more stickiness. My husband finally asked if we could just have cleaning supplies and we’d clean the room ourselves. My husband scrubbed the room for an hour himself. We’re pretty easygoing but I was SHOCKED at how disgusting and very obviously untouched the rooms were. Additionally, the mini fridge was broken, the toilet was broken, the sink was clogged. I know the hotel is under renovations right now, so hopefully some of that will be fixed. I’m not sure how renovations are supposed to fix the appalling cleaning standards.

Breakfast and pool are decent. Poor lighting in pool area. Housekeeping duties are neglected at a major level when it comes to the hotel rooms. 2 days w/ no housekeeping services even after i requested it and reminded the front desk b4 i left the property. The bedding is the exact same b/c i recognize the stains i made while eating in bed. Not too mention my ear started bleeding and got on a pillow case. That same pillow case is on the bed right now. They remade the bed with the stains and blood on the sheets etc. Nasty. Front desk said they would have Housekeeping come tomorrow morning but i check out at 11a. Right now it's 4p...check in time. Manager just left even though i asked to speak with her b4 leaving. I have pictures of the unclean room. Unswept floor. Stained sheets, bloody pillow case. Gross!! I wont be back. Check Google review for pics.

Nice room, but absolutely no sound-proofing. We could hear absolutely everything in the room next door almost like it was in our room - I lost several hours of sleep. Pergo floors look nice but are impossible to keep clean for a hotel - my feet were filthy, and with shoes on it was like it was sticky. The floors probably contribute to the loud sound also. Hallway carpets were very dirty throughout the hotel. Only two bath towels in the room, and we weren't allowed to get an additional towel on request. Breakfast was ok, but understaffed and the juice machine was broken. Very nice bathroom fixtures and an abundance of outlets. Front desk associate was great.

Overall pretty good. The tv remote didn't work so we couldn't use the tv. Took the remote to the registration counter. The person in front of me had the exact same problem. We were told someone would come to get everything working. Nobody came the whole night. Had to remind them at checkout that they had the rooms tv remote in case they charged us for a missing remote.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was good too. The only reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star review is the rooms with double beds are a little small for couples but we knew this when booking. Overall a good location and stay!

Disappointing service as I had booked 2 king rooms & only received 1 as ours had 2 double beds & they tried to tell me that was what I booked, but could prove otherwise. Also had a broken shower which they did not attempt to fix. The other room was fine.

I requested maintenance because the shower head would not stay put no one came. I was told by the front desk that they would be there Friday morning, I was there Thursday evening, no one came. Saturday no one came. I told them about it again at the front desk and all I was told, was I don't know why they did not come. It was pretty inconvenient to hold a pretty massively heavy shower head designed for the handicap, remind you I was not handicapped, to try and shower. Other than that, the breakfast was great, and the bar was extremely affordable and the tender was very polite. I'll go again.

While this is an economy hotel with modest rooms, we were delighted with ALL of the staff, including the friendly fellow at check-in, another one at check-out, and another one at breakfast. The location is very handy to I-75 North or South, and there are many restaurants and big box stores within a 5-minute drive, and several are walkable.

The front desk man was very nice and quick enough. I got to the room to discover the floor was soaked. You could tell it was coming from the A/C unit. I put my stuff down and went back to front desk and told him my floor was flooded. He said" I will leave a note for it." I said so you want me to wipe it up with towels and you will send someone? He said yeah. Noone came and it continued to leak all night and rolling out of the bed this morning my socks got soaked. When i checked out the guy was counting a drawer and barely looked up. I said I am checking out,and no one ever came to fix the flooded floor. He said okay and didnt even make eye contact with me. Will NEVER go back to this property

The staff was wonderful. Sandy at the front desk was very helpful when we decided to stay a second nite. The room was very comfortable. Had a loveseat and chair. Needed a bigger fridge!! I’d stay there again.

👍 Easy location from freeway. Clean room. Good breakfast although the food staff on Sat morning seemed a little overwhelmed and was running behind keeping up with breakfast food demand. Sunday morning breakfast service much better as food was well stocked and server was very friendly.

This is a slightly older property that is starting to look a little long in the tooth. Access to the motel is through frontage roads and alley-ways, not easy to find. All of that said, my room was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable, not great. If you just need a no-frills place to sleep, this was fine.

Great price for a quick trip! We had a room with a king size bed and it wasn't overly large but we were really in it only to sleep so it's just fine. The breakfast is a highlight! There were eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Waffles, bread choices, cereal, fruit and coffee. The property is quiet and in a very convenient location to highways and restaurants and shopping

Great price for the money, very clean, very quiet . We have stayed here before and the breakfast buffet no longer had meat, maybe cause it was a weekday but they had eggs and sausage gravy and sandwiches. Will return add bacon please

Room was clean enough, but shower had poor water pressure. Mirror hanging on wall had come down and was poorly re-hung causing a potential injury. Pool was not warm at all. Breakfast bar was quite inadequate serving re-heated patties of egg and no breakfast meat. Coffee was terrible. Would think twice before staying here again.

It was just what we needed. Short sleep. Breakfast time was too short, 9:00 a.m. to stop breakfast is too soon, even on a week day. Most people staying are vacationing.
