Hilton Garden Inn Tulsa South

Pretty and clean. When I did my search on Hotels.com to find a hotel, the two requirements I put in were a pool and a restaurant/bar. The outdoor pool doesn’t open until May. There should’ve been some kind of information indicating that there was no pool this time of year, the restaurant/bar Was shorthanded so it was not open. Disappointing.

Pool water was empty and not available

Some amenities were unavailable... such as the business center room was closed with sign on door. The breakfast bar was good but apparently they didn't prepare enough of hot food as hours were until 10 AM but they ran out of hot food shortly after 9 AM & did not fix more. The hotel was probably not even half full. There wasn't any paper (hard copy) hotel info for those of us who don't do online easily or at all. Also the online info was not updated with actual hours, details, etc.

Great property. Bed very comfortable and had a bar inside open until 10 that was a great. Will definitely be staying again.

The staff here are so incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was nicely made up when we arrived and housekeeping respects the "please do not disturb" door hanger. :) They're pet friendly and have a big area to walk my dog, and a poop bag dispenser and pail right there that was always stocked with baggies. The breakfast is delicious, the potatoes were my favorite.

The room was clean and the beds were nice. The pool was very fun but could use some tending as far as the unfinished broken hot tube and no towels out there. The staff were pleasant but could work on answering the phone as we called several times before just going down to ask for what we needed. The only real complaint is that the room wouldn’t get cool enough so we usually woke up hot throughout the night.

some of the staff was obviously stressed, but quiet. Breakfast attendant was a joy and super kind and funny! Hot tub was sadly in disrepare and taped off . stale dirty water with frogs living in it. avery disapointing. apool was fairly enjoyable but in need of maintenance and cleaning.

The air conditioner does not work in the front lobby. They charged $10 for a hot breakfast. That is OK I would’ve went out to eat for cheaper. The rooms are nice if you can get one at the TV works

Hotel was under staffed! From the lobby, elevators, and pool area. Nothing looked to be cleaned recently. Had to ask twice for turndown service and fresh towels. We stayed with my son and his wife and shared a suite as we were just using it for sleeping. No linens for the pull out couch, I booked as 4 adults in a room and there was only 2 towels. No hand towels, wraps, or floor towels, nothing! The suites are also not separated with a door to the king bed room. I’ve never stayed in a suite that didn’t separate the bedroom from living/office area. Both elevators were having mechanical issues! The lobby store had nothing in stock and there were no vending machines on site. I would say the breakfast was horrible as well. But we wouldn’t know because they had no cook for the PAID FOR IN ADVANCE BREAKFAST and we were told we could walk across the parking lot to the Holiday Inn to eat! After asking a second time for turndown service and clean linens. We were informed housekeeping must have missed the 3rd floor as others had complained as well. How does housekeeping skip an entire floor! Even after asking the second time and asking for 6 towels instead of 2 in our room we were only given 3! I also still had to request cleaning and extra pillows as we only had 4 between the 2 beds and pull out. And every knows how flat and small hotel pillows are. Very disappointed. I wish I had taken photos, but we were on a mini vacation as my son was leaving for basic training come Monday.

The air in the lobby was out. The hot tub was broken. There were 11 people in the pool and only 3 had swimming suits on (2/3 were us)! Then we watched two families walk from the pool, across the parking lot, and into the Holiday Inn Express. Not at all the quality you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn.

There was nobody manning the front desk around dinner time. We waited for 15 minutes. During that time we observed a homeless man who came in on his bike and attempted to steal snacks from the front area, but decided not to when he saw us there. Bathrooms had mold in the shower and stains on the walls. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean room and good amenities

Seems like a really safe area! Room was very clean and quiet throughout the night!

The two trash cans at the entrance were overflowing with trash, with some on the ground outside when we arrived on Thursday. The trash can in the lobby was also overflowing with trash upon arrival. They were never emptied and just got worse for our three night stay when we left on Sunday morning. Outside the room two doors down from ours, there was a large pile of used towels that stayed there for the final two days of our stay. The hot water ran out on two days of our stay. I overheard some other guests with the same issue. No room service was provided for our three night stay. I am not sure why pets are now allowed to be brought in here, but this is unsanitary. There were two groups of people staying with very large (40-50lb) dogs. One couple had three of them, the other had two. If this is your policy now, you should provide a separate private entrance to keep them out of the lobby/restaurant/bar area. I understand service animals, but that is not the case here. I have been staying at this location two times a year for about 6 years after moving from Embassy Suites during the remodel. Normally it is fine, but not this time.

We stayed here a couple months ago, it was great. Not sure what happened. We stayed this weekend. 1. The room stunk. 2. The shower hardly wouldn’t turn on. 3. The shower flooded the bathroom floor everytime we took a shower. 4. They never came and got our towels, we had to go ask twice. 5. The comforter had a huge hole with a brown stain. Staff was not helpful at all. Go down the road!

The property was great and nicely kept. However, there was a cockroach and a stink bug in the room upon checkin. The bathroom towel rack was also not properly fixed to the wall (it seemed like the screw anchors were not big enough for the hole that was drilled into the wall). The hotel was quiet and peaceful, the view of the pool was beautiful, and I liked the curtains and different functions for keeping the room dark while sleeping and bright while awake while still offering privacy. We didn’t take advantage of it during our stay, but they also offer free breakfast. I’m not factoring it into the review, but I don’t like that they do not actually reserve a room for you even if you have booked and paid in advance; and while we did get a room, we got the last one and the person behind us did not get a room even though he had also booked one. I know this is typical for hotels but I believe this is a terrible practice from a customer standpoint and may dissuade me from booking in the future.

I was only there for one night but the bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and spacious, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. Besides the check-in took 40mins. I had to get my room cards redone. Twice. And none of the cable shows worked.

Given a handicap room I did not ask for, fell on the very slick floor in the shower. At a minimum there should be non slip strips on the shower floor.

Great help from the front desk, great rooms. Delicious food, got excellent front desk help from Matt, likewise Lindsey who covered the bar and floor. Thanks Lindsey, Matt and Conrad! Also other front deskers whose name I didn't catch.

The room we checked into was dirty. They quickly gave us another room and even brought key to us. However at 6 am a girl began to band on door next to ya screaming profanities. It took an hour to get the staff to eventually call police. I called front desk several times. I informed clerk I should be refunded for room.

Great location, value, super clean and the staff were so friendly!

Very friendly staff made check-in and check-out very easy. Full kitchen and bar provides extra convenience. Room was clean and spacious with coffee maker and refrigerator. Easy to get anyplace in Tulsa from the location off the MIngo Valley Expressway.

This is our go-to hotel in Tulsa. Quiet, clean, classy with great grass for our service dogs and lots of nice restaurants nearby!

We decided to take a getaway trip over Easter weekend to Tulsa. We picked a hotel that well exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, friendly and great location to get around in Tulsa.

It was a short one night stay at the hotel but everything was good. Hotel was clean and close to all amenities.

Its convenience to TCC. Would have preferred a complimentary breakfast.

We love this hotel, it’s older but well taken care of, quiet, convenient, great service, great beds and lots of grass for our dogs, we’ll be back!

Checked in around 4:30 in the afternoon. Asked about the breakfast hours. I believe she said 6:00-10:00. Went down around 9:00. There was no food. They were out of everything except bagels, no cream cheese, and cereal and boiled eggs. This has never happened before at any hotel I’ve stayed at. There was a Walmart and Target close by. Why would you not look and say oh my I better make a grocery run. Absolutely unacceptable.

Had a bit of trouble with check in and completely disappointed with breakfast

The bar was very limited & very expensive. $14 a drink that was sub par. Would recommend grabbing something somewhere else.

The front desk person was very rude at check in and next morning as well! We paid for breakfast and they had no breakfast whatsoever! Requested a refund, said they we had to get it from Expedia. Advertised drinks and bar in the evening, no drinks or bar...only bartender was on vacation. Will not stay there again!

When it is advertised that breakfast is provided until 10:00 then the staff should cook more if there is no food. My husband went to breakfast at 7:30 and was told that no more food would be cooked. By the time I got down with four kids at 9:00 the only thing available was toast, cereal, and bagels. We don’t eat bread due to allergies. We were told that they were out of food. This was the only complaint.
