Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Everything was extremely clean. The designated pet area in the back was abundant and perfect for our pets needs. The pool overall was clean. It did had some debri in it but we also had some wind. I would recommend this place and i would stay here again. Oh and the staff were all friendly, professional and great.

Requested a ground floor room and got it....no noise from above or outside. Yes the bathroom was small but the room was spacious, clean and a comfortable bed...with a HUGE TV. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection and the outdoor pool was an added bonus.

We picked this hotel because it had a pool. Unknown to us, it was closed. They didn’t even mention it at check in. We heard from another guest. Someone set the alarm clock before tgey left. We could hear it going off for hours every morning. If you just need a place to sleep this choice is fine.

Breakfast was okay pretty standard stuff. The staff was super nice the bed was comfortable. The shower head those wish you could change the settings. The pool was nice last day there was no towels though for the pool before check out.

First room had a huge gap around the door in the door jamb. Didn’t feel safe. Second room was on the 2nd floor. Smaller gap but at least the locking mechanism went all the way into the jamb. No elevators so be sure you can carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The floors in our room were SO DIRTY. We couldn’t walk barefoot anywhere in the room our feet would be black. No exhaust fan in the bathroom which allows the toilet to sweat and mold to grow in the tub area. Very near a large intersection and several lanes of traffic so it’s loud inside the room (especially with a gap around the door). Breakfast was okay. Never saw any fresh fruit. Not sore if I will stay here again, if I do I will clean my floor upon arriving.

I always stay at this property when I visit Bend, which is every three months. I pick this hotel for two reasons it is reasonable in price and although it is a little dated the rooms have always been super clean. This trip was disappointing. When I got ready to get into bed I pulled the blankets back and there was blood on the blankets. The maid had clearly not changed the blankets and just remade the bed. Simply disgusting!

Unfortunately, not as good of a stay as previous. Pros: Staff are friendly and kind. Breakfast is great. Cheaper. Dog friendly. Cons: The bed was horrendously noisy. Squeaked with just the slightest movement and the metal frame made a giant clunking sound any time you sat down. The floor was filthy. Turned our son's feet nearly black after just a few minutes of walking on it. We asked specifically for it to be mopped. Instead they gave us fresh towels and emptied the trash but never cleaned the floor.

Stayed here for like the 4th time and it has become my go to stay for Bend. Easy, convenient location to my appointment downtown. Nicely updated rooms that are always clean upon check-in. Hot breakfast is a super nice perk. Every staff member has always been very friendly and helpful also! Definitely recommend!

Very clean. Very dated. Outside door, noisy walkway. Maintenance poor. One electrical socket between beds, and it didn’t work. AC unit does not have “always on” setting for fan, so it cycles loudly.

Our room was very clean and had a nice big tv. The downfall is that the air conditioner was very loud, the fridge made a weird noise off and on and they put us directly across from the ice machine. People love to get ice after mid-night!

When I arrived at the hotel to check-in I was greeted by the woman at the check in counter. She was very nice and welcoming.. I didn't get her name, but she helped me through the different contracts to sign and made a very easy to check-in. The room was in great order. Clean and tidy. It was also well stocked with the amenities and lots of towels. I enjoyed the breakfast on my way out of town. There was a lot of variety, and everything tasted great. Upon checkout, I was helped by the man at the counter. He explained that my deposit money would be redeposited within a few days if the room was in good order. I was overall impressed with the hotel and I will return if I'm in the area again? Thanks.

housekeeping was not a daily service. you had to ask for it at the front counter. we stayed 3 nights and asked for housekeeping-clean towels etc. it did not get done. check in clerk was kinda rude and not friendly but the price was cheaper the most in town and breakfast was stanard

It was the perfect lower cost hotel for a weekend away with my two kids. Breakfast was a good array of choices. In whole, I definitely was surprised at how great it was for the price. I'm glad to have stayed there and can now visit Bend more often having found this budget friendly gem.

A very poor staff at the front desk. Rather than welcoming guests after a long drive to get there, they acted as if they were going out of their way to help you get checked in. No smiles, no welcome, just give me your ID and I will get you a room. Also, they charge $40 for incidentals even if you don't plan to use it. They said you would get it back in 5-7 days if not used. Instead of a honored and trusted guest at this property one is treated as a suspect that may try to get away with not paying for incidentals. Not good.

Room nice. Kinda noisy and could hear people talking all night. Clean and comfy. Staff: I have to divide into two. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice as was the young woman who brought me additional towels. Very pleasant. In fact, I left a gift for the young woman (a scarf) because she was so lovely and kind. The second set of staff were the hotel housekeeper who came to clean my room. She was quite abrupt and made me uncomfortable so I left the room quicker than I would have. The breakfast lady was very uncouth. She was complaining about admin and guests in the middle of the breakfast area to another staff person (who did not look like she wanted to be there). She claimed that hotel did not provide her with enough and that guests were "stealing food for their lunches." As one of those guests who take a yogurt and coffee back with me, it's because I have to take meds with it. I was very offended. In addition the breakfast area was not very clean (being kind). The food was generally cold. Overall, the stay was nice enough. I just think some staff need some hospitality training

Lovely stay and the staff however I asked for. Late checkout. They offered one pm. All my groceries toiletries and not sure what else was thrown away by house keeping. And upon my return, nothing could’ve prepared me to o see my motel room taken over by another couple and any belongs o had left in the room gone.

Located centrally didnt have to drive more than 5mins to goto any restaurant. There was a minor leakage (fee drops on 1 hr probably) from the bathroom in the top floor. The management changed to a dufferent room asap. Promot service. Pretty basic breakfast though. If they add basic fruit will be better. Overall will stay again.Basic non-luxury hotel which is good enough.

It’s ok for a night. Very noisy though with the highways on both sides. We thought we were booking a different Red Lion that’s next to the Black Bear Diner, but that location is no longer a Red Lion. Like I said it’s fine for a night if you’re wanting to be near the Hayden Homes Amphitheater for a concert or sone other event. Pool looks fun but we didn’t have time to use it.

I travel with dogs and this property has enough grass around to give the dogs some space to explore. If you cross the busy intersection you can walk to a section of the Deschutes River trail.

It's an okay place BUT, it's right off of hwy 97 so it's noisy, TV didn't work and continental breakfast was fake eggs, mediocre biscuits/gravy and lousy sausage patty. It's basically HALF of a continental breakfast with the cheapest food possible. So if you're a breakfast person, this ain't the place.

If you're looking for somewhat healthy breakfast, don't stay here. Nothing fresh, no fresh fruit. No yogurt. No hard boiled eggs. Food isn't replenished quickly. Arrived 8:20 am, bagels and toast were empty. Wasn't refilled until 8:45. Almond milk was just a lump of ice in the container. Gravy for biscuits had no flavor. No pancakes/waffles. Attendant mostly just wiped off counters. Room was clean and good except for outlet nightlight which shines outward toward the bed and cannot be changed.

Breakfast on the weekend of Sep 20/21 was just terribly taken care of by staff. Things were running out without any effort to fill them back up. The worst happened Sunday morning when there was no bread or bagels at all anymore and the front desk person blaming a delivery being late. There's a supermarket pretty close by......send some staff member over and buy some bread and bagels. That's possible and shows you care about your (paying) customers. Really bad. I'll never go there ever again.

Our room was nice, the bed comfortable. The 2nd morning of our 2 night stay, the bathroom sink light did not work, nor did 2 lights in the room. I forgot to report this when leaving. The breakfast was better on the Saturday morning than on Friday, which was very mediocre with super watery orange juice. However, I would probably stay here again.

Easy on and off the highway. The room was very clean. There was a noticeable smell of bleach but that was ok, it was well cleaned. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good. We took advantage of the included breakfast and it was good. Waffles, eggs, bacon and all the normal things. We would stay again.
