I normally do not leave comments but after staying here, I have to. My family and I were in town for the State Fair. Compared to other hotels in the area, this price was much more reasonable. The ambiance of this hotel was relaxing. My kids enjoyed walking around the property and playing with the ducks! They also had outdoor soccer goals, tennis courts, pickleball courts and an amazing gym! My family and I will for sure be staying here again when we come back to Dallas.

The fitness center, the highlight of the property, does not open until 11:00 am on Sunday. Checkout is noon. And I was charged a resort fee on top of it all for something was looking forward to but could not use

Very quiet and beautiful property. Particularly good place to stay if you really like to exercise! Guests can use the Cooper Fitness Center which is one of the best fitness centers I have ever seen! They have an outdoor one mile track that meanders through the very large property. The rooms are very nice and there is plenty of space to park your car near your room. Only downside is the restaurant is inside the fitness center and is closed Saturday from 3 pm until Monday morning. So we had to travel several blocks for our meals. Also, the televisions just use cable and were not able to stream content from mobile devices.

This was our 5th stay and our least enjoyed, very disappointing. Our room was extremely loud, as we approached our room we could hear the people in the room next to us. Upon entering the room I could hear people talking through the vent in our bathroom. The A/C was so loud that even with ear plugs it woke us up every time it turned on. The tub was very slippery when showering and should have a rough bottom as we were both concerned we would slip. The shower was less than invigorating as the pressure wasn't very strong. Usually the bed is very comfortable but this one wasn't. It almost felt like it was on a slope. There obviously needs to be a major update as the room was tired and very old/worn with a lot of spots/stains on the carpet.

The rooms are nice and big. Otherwise we were not positively surprised by this stay: Both receptionists we met were not very attentive nor friendly. Restaurant was closed. The pool was the most disappointing part. It seemed quite old and not very clean.

Nice grounds and the fitness facility is really nice. Guest room is large, but the door lacks any protection to keep hallway noise from pouring into the room. The bathroom of our room needed attention as the panel above the shower for the access to the second floor was stained and had rusted screws. The showerhead needs replacing. Mini refrigerator is a nice amenity, but it is loud.

Great place to stay, workout and rest. The rooms are a dated, but clean, large, dark and quiet. Very happy with the sheets and towels - good quality. We love the workout facilities and try to use them each time. The walk trail is perfect and peaceful too.

The cleanliness and beds were amazing…. It’s a traditional/classic decor. I really appreciated the spacious room and ability to have a sitting area to relax rather than having to sit on the bed. The bathrooms could use some updating. Specifically, the toilet pressure was low and the hot water handle on the bathroom sink leaked. Also, we really like to sleep cold and the thermostat only allowed to go to 68…. Felt much warmer… maybe was the humidity? Overall, facilities are wonderful. The location was perfect for us as well. Had a great rate with Expedia. I would book a stay here again… just would bring my fan next time.

We enjoyed our stay and we're grateful for the free upgrade. The room was massive and comfortable. Only complaint was the tiny shower and the shower head wasn't adjustable at all.

check-in experience was quite good. tambly(?) was very helpful and thorough. the room was clean, beds were very comfortable, and our stay was very quiet. however, the condition of the sidewalk was very uneven in between the pool and building #2. my wife, who uses a walker, had somewhat of a tough time navigating the slabs of concrete, which are being pushed up by the roots of the large tree next to it. also, the checkout procedure was fast but had flaws. i had asked for a receipt printout and the young man scoffed and said that whomever checked us in should've informed us that the system was down, instead of taking some initiative to follow up with a forwarded receipt via email. although he said it with a smile, it seemed like he didn't want to help at all and it wasn't his problem.

The front desk person who is a tall slim black male with glasses was by far the rudest hotel staff i have ever encountered. i have never seen such diabolical and deliberately rude behaviour from anyone besides someone at a hotel front desk! for this reason I wont stay there again until hes trained extensively, or fired!

We arrived on Friday afternoon to celebrate my beautiful wife graduating college. When we got there, we simply asked if the room had a balcony. When I asked this, the manager popped his head around the corner and said, “You can’t smoke on our balconies”, automatically assuming that is why I asked. MY WIFE AND I DONT SMOKE. When we got to the room, the A/C was set to almost 80 F. We dropped it to 72 F thinking this would be comfortable when we got back from dinner. IT WASNT! Friday night, we called the front desk and told them that the A/C wasn’t working properly and they told us that they would fix it while we were out on Saturday at my wife’s graduation. They NEVER came and fixed anything. It stayed almost 80 F the entire time and it was MISERABLE! We attempted to get someone to fix it multiple times and kept getting the run around about how it was the weekend and nobody can look at it until Monday. We also go back to our room on Saturday morning and we’re told that if we do not stop smoking marijuana and cigarettes on our balcony, then we would have the cops called on us. We do not smoke, marijuana, or cigarettes, and I was extremely pissed off that they would assume that it was us because we are a young couple I’m guessing. horrible hotel, because of the horrible service and rude staff. I will never stay there again.

I’m allergic to onions and requested no onions but got them anyway, so I didn’t eat all my lunch except what I could pick out of the bowl. The TV remote did not work so I wasn’t able to watch TV. We even changed the batteries in the remote but that didn’t fix it. The man at desk said it wasn’t his job, but maintenance handles the TV. The iron was tethered to the ironing board and I burned my arm when it pulled back to the iron holder.

Our go to place to stay when coming to Dallas. So quiet and the rooms are fabulous. Nice to be able to workout in the Cooper facility or walk on the track. 10 minutes to downtown via toll road or 5 minutes to Galleria.

Every time I'm in Dallas for work, I look for availability here first. It has beautiful grounds, very clean and large rooms. It's also conveniently located off of Preston Road which has all of the restaurants and convenient stores. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing hotel! Restaurant was not open during our stay, so will need to try that next time. We did find an excellent Mexican restaurant within a very short walking distance.

There was nothing really available on Saturday evening or Sunday - no food or restaurant on site, no laundry, and even the fitness center had limited hours. No coffee other than instant in the rooms and tea. It was an expensive Uber to get there from the airport and back. There was not much available if you don’t have a car either. The suite was spacious and comfortable to sleep but few of the other hospitality items usually available at a hotel and or spa. The sound also carried so any knocking or talking next door was clearly audible in the room.

Very quiet and beautiful property. Particularly good place to stay if you really like to exercise! Guests can use the Cooper Fitness Center which is one of the best fitness centers I have ever seen! They have an outdoor one mile track that meanders through the very large property. The rooms are very nice and there is plenty of space to park your car near your room. Only downside is the restaurant is inside the fitness center and is closed Saturday from 3 pm until Monday morning. So we had to travel several blocks for our meals. Also, the televisions just use cable and were not able to stream content from mobile devices.

I stayed here for business and was upgraded to a suite. That space was amazing. Bed comfortable, though a bit too high to easily climb upon. Great little kitchenette which proved to be necessary since the on-ground food option was never open when I could get there. (Opened after we started class and was closed sooner than advertised). Not having food onsite forced the need to shop for groceries. The grounds were lovely and walking a pleasure. Without a car, I was able to take a 10 minute walk on way to several restaurants and grocery store. But then needed to walk back with all the groceries. Wish I had been more accurately informed of food availability and that the times of the grill were accurately posted. But I didn't chose the venue for our class. But I would stay again coming prepared with a car or bring own food and book the rooms with a kitchenette

Elevator wasn't working and our room was on the second floor. Given, we have stayed here at least 6 times now, I would have expected to have had an accommodation that was more accessible. Also, your showers are pretty slippery, a grab bar in the shower would be a great safety feature.

I was impressed with the suite amenities the quality thick carpet, the separate shower and tub fixtures, a water filtration system (in the bathroom) and stainless steel appliances ! This will be one of my new fav spots to stay during my DFW visits!
