The bar staff was excellent. Other than that this place was a complete joke. Out of their control there was no hot water (on Valentines weekend) they lied about why or when it would be back on. We paid over $1600 for two nights and I was literally brutalized the last night by the young uneducated front desk girl and told I could leave I’ve never stayed at this hotel before and normally stay downtown or uptown in an equally high end hotel. I’m filing complaints with this service as well as their management company. Pathetic and if I could get my money back I would. NEVER AGAIN

It was such a beautiful hotel. The gym was amazing! The room was beautiful. The pool however, was small and there were very few chairs (8-10). For that size of a hotel, they need a larger pool and more chairs in the pool area.

As other guests have noted, this hotel has significantly deteriorated in quality of experience, comfort, and service. I would strongly urge those looking for a 5-star hotel to seek elsewhere. My stay was unpleasant. In particular: -The duvet cover had stains -The towels and robes needed to be replaced (probably years ago) - they were super rough and not soft -The sheets were the most scratchy and least soft of any 5-star hotel I've stayed at -The service was a 2/10. They had a trainee check me in, which took approximately 7 minutes. -They assigned me a room initially that smelled like stale cigarette smoke Positives -The location is pretty good -The room vibe is fairly nice

The pool was not accessible as advertised. The room noise was very loud which made it hard to sleep. The bed was hard. The electricity was out for hours. Definitely not worth the high price. Staff were very courteous.

Everyone was nice there. It’s an old hotel remodeled so a couple of things. Our entire wall was out of electricity to charge phones or turn on lights. We called the front desk to send up extra linens they never sent them. The Tesla charger doesn’t work with newer models and you have to ride with the valet down there and hook it up.

My wife had an event at 6:30pm Our room was not ready until 6:30pm they made my wife get ready at the spa downstairs , if you are going to charge what you you charge per room the least you can do is have room ready at check in time , pretty basic stuff

Check-in time is stated to be 4:00, I arrived at 4:10 and was told they had no rooms 'Ready' for occupancy and that they 'could not tell me' when they would have one ready, but they would buzz me. After checking with the front desk every 15-20 minutes, at 5:40 I finally went to the Concierge and asked for the Manager. Magically a room became 'Ready' for me. Room service...10:15 pm after 3 attempts over 30 minutes someone finally answered the phone...but only after I contacted the front desk. There are several premier hotel alternatives nearby.

Rafael at the front was excellent in providing us a wonder birthday experience. The hotel was in a fun vibe area that was walkable with lots of great restaurants and bars. They even had a surprise cheesecake piece for my birthday in the room waiting. Thanks Rafael - your the best.

The check-in was easy and location was great. There’s a coffee shop right across which serves breakfast I would highly recommend the slow drip coffee, and if you have drinks at the hotel bar, definitely get the one with the cotton candy on top. It’s delicious!

Our stay was wonderful! The room was very comfortable and clean. Good sleeping in a well made bed with cozy bedding. Luscious towels! Room service was delicious and above and beyond service. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and very professional. The Spa was excellent and relaxing. Great staff there as well.

The Crescent is one if the prettiest properties in Dallas. It is elegant and chic! The nearby shopping and dining is first class. We enjoyed the workout room and breakfast in bed. All lovely!

Overall, this hotel was underwhelming especially for the price. Basic rooms. Beautiful lobby decor for the holidays. Holiday tea was also underwhelming.. one type of tea in the busy lobby corner. Food was overall dry and nothing special. Overnight valet was too pricey also. I would not return to this hotel

It is always such a pleasure to stay at the Crescent Hotel in Dallas . The hotel of course was Designed by Philip Johnson , and has been beautifully kept and updated over the years , but still retains its elegance and stature as a Dallas Icon. In some ways the hotel has actually become better because the immediate nieghborhood has densified beautifully and you are now a quick walk to Clive Warren Park , Starbucks, Mi Cocina , Whole foods and so many things to do , many in walking distance . The rooms were very clean the shower was nicely updated with great water pressure , the House Keeping staff was adept at tiding up when I was out ( never saw anyone !) The pool is also a classic experience with a gorgeous set of newer buildings surrounding the pool deck and those lovely Texas Skies I also enjoyed watching people in the grand lobby at the bar . Another great stay for me and my family - Thanks Crescent , we'll be back !
