They closed the pool area for a private event. So the guest could not use the pool. Ridiculous mangement. And the zaza is niw rindiwn. Needs to pne remodeled. Batrooms are old stule not changed in years.

Stayed there for the pool but the pool area is so small that there were no seats left. And they had seats reserved that no one was sitting in. They should tell you to reserve seats when you book. Everything was reserved for a party outside the pool too. It sucked! Then the next day it rained and the pool did not open- understandable.

I stayed here for a business conference. It was relatively quiet at night. The room was large, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The gym was decently equipped, but the sole leg machine was out of order. Overall, a great hotel option with good amenities at a reasonable price.

Extremely friendly staff and clean hotel. Rooms were large and well maintained. Bed was comfy! Quiet and very relaxing atmosphere. I loved their daily coffee/tea service in the morning and afternoon refreshments. Only downside to the visit was the pool was closed for the winter when we visited in October.

The hotel staff, primarily the bar and valet staff, were extremely nice and enthusiastic and welcoming. They were always helpful and attentive. My room was not very clean upon check-in: bathroom wall had a stain and tv remote was dirty. My room, the next day, was not cleaned even upon my return at 430pm so I just asked for turn down service. I had no Do Not Disturb sign in my room when I had checked in either. I called to ask for one and did receive one right away. Then I received a brand new menu for room service, and then a housekeeper came to clean but I refused and asked for turn down later again. Turn down was great and I received a Moon Pie and water. The next day, I returned after out all day, my room was cleaned. However, my unopened Moon Pie was taken, and my tv remote was gone. My vanity table not cleaned, bathroom wall still stained (yes, was removable). Finally found remote under the comforter! And, still dirty and crusty. It looked like the room just had a once over clean. The hotel overall needs to be updated. I really thought I was coming to a newer hotel.

This hotel could use a little re-fresh! Interiors, while clean, just seemed a little worn and out of fashion, which is to be expected from a 20-something year old hotel. The pool situation was a little cheesy with the mirrors giving the appearance of a larger pool. Nothing bad to say about the gym but a TV would be great or connect machines to a cable? The food was fine, but the cocktails were sadly not good. What was outstanding was the hotel driver on Friday and Saturday evening. He was incredibly friendly and eager to take you to wherever you needed to go uptown/downtown which was appreciated in the Texas heat!

Have stayed at Zaza Houston numerous times and service is always exemplary. Zaza Dallas once held the same high standards, but not anymore. Upon check-in, I requested an upgrade and the was told by the lady at the front desk that the hotel was booked out. The room we were given smelled of mold/mildew, the mini fridge had open half empty bottles of wine inside and we had a lovely view of a large white tent. Out of curiosity, I checked the hotel website and multiple rooms were available the night of our stay and we were later informed by a hotel staff member that the hotel was only half full. I messaged the hotel to inform them of issues with room and was told I would be contacted shortly about room change. Never heard back from anyone. A hotel that once prided themselves on superior customer service needs to keep a closer eye on front desk employees at Dallas location.

This hotel was amazing start to finish! Every single worker is so nice and accommodating! Valet workers are amazing, rooms were clean, spacious, and beautiful, gym was nice, perfect location for situated in the middle of everything! I had Ana amazing experience and cannot WAIT to go back!

Very clean, room lovely and spacious we stayed in the king parlor. Valet staff outside were really friendly and helpful made use of their free shuttle transport. What I didn’t like was no coffee/ tea making facilities in the room. Also the coffee in corridor a hassle if you didn’t want to have to get dressed to just get a coffee first thing . Housekeeping was so late in afternoon always seemed to be just as we got back from the day and wanted to just rest up before getting ready for the evening. Nice touch the cold drinks and cookie in afternoon by lifts .

Another fun trip at ZaZa! Thank you to the friendly ladies at the front counter on Friday at 1 pm who helped me to get into my rooms a little early so I could put a cake and some decorations in there for my mom's 75th birthday. You all made the occasion so special! I really appreciate your flexibility. The valet is awesome as well. They brought my car around super fast each time, and they even drove us to dinner Saturday night. It's small things like that that make ZaZa my preferred hotel in Dallas. Dinner at the restaurant was also very tasty. We will be back!

We come here for the excellent staff and the location. Hotel is aging but eccentric and fun. Service here best out of all three Texas ZaZa locations even though the other locations offer newer amenities that justify the cost. Fun bar area.

This property is first class. From the friendliness of the Valet to the easy check in to the free cookies and flavored water near the elevator. We attended a Concert near the Zaza and they took us and picked us up afterwards. We were hungry afterwards and their restaurant was open late. The food was excellent as was the service. I will most definitely stay there again

After being recommended by Gemini as a similar experience as Cherry Creek in Denver, we were not impressed by the walk ability of the area nor by the service of the hotel. Their deviled egg offerings in the restaurant was pathetic. The eggs resembled eggs that I would leave in the refrigerator for three days before I ate them not what I would expect from an acclaimed restaurant. My only conclusion is don’t trust Gemini for hotel recommendations the AI isn’t that smart yet….. or at least Zaza hotel isn’t what AI thinks it is

We recently stayed at this hotel expecting the upscale experience reflected in its rating. There were certainly positives—the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, the pool experience was incredibly disappointing and completely changed our impression of the hotel. What struck us immediately was the contrast between the nearly empty hotel and restaurant versus an extremely crowded pool area. We later learned from several people we spoke with that many of them were there on day passes rather than staying at the hotel. There’s nothing inherently wrong with offering day passes, but the hotel appears to be selling so many that it significantly impacts paying guests. There were virtually no available lounge chairs, the single pool bartender and attendant couldn’t keep up with demand, service was extremely slow, and it was difficult to simply relax and enjoy the amenities we were paying for as hotel guests. The atmosphere also felt very different from what you’d expect at a higher-end property. The pool crowd was loud, more like a public day club than a luxury hotel. At one point, a group of men wearing dirty Speedos repeatedly approached us to chat . If the hotel is going to market itself as a luxury destination, it needs to prioritize the experience of overnight guests over maximizing pool pass sales. As it stands today, it feels like the pool has become a public attraction first and a hotel amenity second.
