Super 8 by Wyndham Grants Pass

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was also really clean. Although no elevator and our room was on 3rd floor, we liked that parking lot at the end allowed you to enter on 3rd floor, so we only had to carry luggage up one floor. Guest laundry worked well. Would stay again

The keyless entry system need to upgraded badly. Our lamp shade was all busted up. The tv stand looked like it had been chewed on. The window was filthy had finger prints and dust all over the outside. Breakfast was pitiful. The pool was good and the beds were comfortable but over all for the price it was a crappy stay.

Everything was perfect with the exception of the card key outside door would not work for me. I’ll be back!

Loved our stay, the front of house girl Brandy was so friendly and helpful. only issue was no elevator, and we were on the 3rd floor, but I guess was good for exercise.

Loved the indoor pool and hot tub.

Breakfast was very slim but it's just to get your day started. The rooms appearance was great but the rooms carry a stinky smell and odor that stick to your clothes and belongings. The pool and hot tub were excellent and well maintained. Overall I will give it a 3 on a 1-10 scale do to it having a nice pool. The price is kinda high for the amenities but I would stay again if I had to.

Clean and enough room to park big vehicles

The room was newly refreshed, there were some areas that still needed work though. The desk chair was all chewed up on the bottom corners, there was paint splatters all over the remote and the alarm clock was not plugged back in. But for the most part it was great stay. We used the pool and it was mostly clean. Some clumps of what looked like hair came up from the bottom as my daughter was diving to the bottom and there were bandages or tape laying underneath the assist chair which was located by the hot tub.

carpets in room were awful - extremely bad and limited lighting in the room - annoying LED's that were irritating to the eyes.... the breakfast food options were also very, very limited. No one appeared to be servicing the am rush.....Pancake machine was subpar. NO other food options other than oatmeal, yogurt or apples (or bread)

I thought hard before leaving this review.... We booked here because we had stayed in the past, but not sure we would book again. Despite having done the pre-check in process on our way, I still had to go through it all again at arrival. We found dead bugs on the floor of our room and once we turned on the heat, the room took on a musty, mildew-y smell. We also found hair on both the sink and the toilet. Beds were comfortable but pillows were small and flat. The pool was a plus, especially for the kids! Breakfast was VERY slim! Very few options to choose from: instant oatmeal, pancakes, or one flavor of yogurt. Watered down juice or coffee.... no milk? The icing on the cake was the broken down van with flat tires plus 2 large dogs living in it parked in the back lot. When I mentioned this to the staff at check out, they said it was fine because the owners "check on them regularly." Also not sure about the person passed out on the curb of the same area of parking lot when we left. Despite all this, the staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Towels & bedding were clean. It seems like the property needs some TLC and updating, but otherwise functional. Very basics were covered for a quick overnight stay on our travels.

It was a good stay. Room was clean and everything else was fine.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. The reviews online don't match the property. Had a 7 plus rating out of 10, I thought we were staying at a clean and safe place, not so much. We had to change rooms once we arrived because that bathroom wasn't clean, poo and mold on the toilet. Figured they would send someone up to clean it, nope, we had to change rooms. Left for dinner, came back and a homeless person was doing drugs off of foil next to the back entrance in front of my children. The next morning, an ambulance was out there, not sure if they OD. The cleanliness of our room was lacking. Looked like poo was wiped on the walls and light switch in the bathroom. Black stuff was coming out between the seams in the shower. Yellow moisture was dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Couldn't walk barefoot in the room without your feet turning black. The walls and door handles in the place were disgustingly dirty. They didn't fight when I asked to cancel the remainder of our reservation and a full refund. We will see if they refund my money.

Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel is clean and well- kept.

Blood stained sheets, broken shower head/bad pressure, broken refrigerator that I lost a lot of food to. And I also had to request a fan because the AC would not even cool my entire suite only the bedroom area and my kids were burning up. We paid extra for the private suite thinking it would be a nicer experience. We stayed here to beat the heat wave and stayed almost a week. I was terribly wrong for choosing this place. I hope to see it cleaned up a lot. It has a lot of great potential and great location for foodies. The front desk ladies were very helpful and improved the experience a little.

The sheets on the bedding was dirty with Human hair on them. I had to ask for clean sheets to sleep on. It was provided but I felt Gross sleeping on the bed

The room was outdated with very old looking bedspreads and the carpet was filthy but the sheets were clean and the bathtub was clean

Room smells like cigarettes

It was clean for the most part and the staff was great. My room however smelled like mold and I would suggest cleaning the air conditioning and replace the carpets they must be at least 30 years old.

Didn’t like room decor. A mash of two many patterns and colors between walls, carpet, drapes and bedspread. Did like the huge photo of redwoods that was used as a headboard. Air conditioner was noisy. Blanket was scratchy. Room coffee was awful.

Beds were comfortable. We slept well! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Check in with Expedia as usual was very efficient, Price was very reasonable, seems to be not such a great area, instructions for accessing wifi did not work. Fine for a short stay like mine

Air conditioner wasn't very cool

We stayed at Super 8 as a one night stopover on a longer trip. It suited our needs for a quick one nighter. Our room was very small. It was clean and the bed was on the soft side but comfortable. When we opened the door we were met with an off putting unpleasant musty type smell. We opened the window for fresh air until it got too cold. We turned on the heat and was met with another unpleasant smell. Not that we needed it but the alarm clock was broken. The hotel claims to have a breakfast. Don’t bother even going in the breakfast room unless all you want is coffee or juice. One hour before the end of breakfast service all that was left was 3 packaged vending machine type muffins and a few pieces of fruit. There was a pancake maker with a sign saying it was out of order. Hotel management please don’t even bother if this is the best you can do. We will not be staying at the Super 8 in the future. There are several other better alternatives.

1. Very uncomfortable beds. I put a 'DND' sign on the door for Room service to knock while we were sleeping and resting. Sure, they apologized. But it's too late. The night front lady was not too friendly.

I love to stay at the super 8 in grants pass Oregon for not only the price but mainly everything about the establishment is fantastic except for this time that I am deeply troubled by what happened to me. You see I rented my room through hotels.com paid for with my debit card. I arrived at the super 8 informed the concierge that I had paid for a room through hotels.com like I always do she quickly checked me in and had me scan my debit card for incidentals. The next morning I noticed my debit card had been charged by the super 8 for a 1 night stay.I went to the front desk and asked April why is she had charged my debit card when I had paid for the room through hotels.com she told me that it was an accident that the charge had not gone through and that I would never see it on my bank account. That was untruth the charge was pending at the time and now has gone through and I am out the amount, stuck trying to dispute the charge with my debit card provider which may take 90 days to get my money back when I was told that I would never be charged at all. Totally upset and disappointed. I need that money desperately.

Stay was great! Fresh coffee was there even at my 2AM check-in. But the breakfast was not that great! During the BF window, the items were empty and there was heardly flavoured oats and pan cake. This is a limited choice compare to other hotels I have stayed.

The room had a damp or mildew odor possibly coming from the air conditioner. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed very clean. The breakfast had a lot to be desired. Only half a glass of orange juice remaining,no milk for the oatmeal, they say they don't have milk. Won't stay there again.

It was clean. Breakfast is very lacking. The only food choices were greek yogurt which is an acquired taste, red apples, instant oatmeal and a pancake maker. I have to say at least they had a pancake maker.

It doesn’t look like much but for the price it was a great stay. Beds were comfortable, front desk staff were amazing, pool was great, bathroom was clean, and breakfast had the necessities to fill you up for starting the day. We loved the pancake machine!

I was very disappointed when i go to have breakfast and literally there was nothing there. It said till 9 am. I went there at 815 am this morning. Tou should make sure there is food put or enough till the time you say. Its not wotmrth paying extra for breakfast when you disnt jave anything

Overall the room was in great shape and clean. The common areas carpet could be replaced but otherwise good. The breakfast was packaged items but the dining area was modern and clean.
