Great hotel and close to the stadium with a short walk. Wish the coffee shop hours were better because it seemed closed all the time. Overall good trip and would stay there again.

Parking was very difficult due to events. Reserved parking for hotel would be very convenient.

The pool could use a bit of work…it was cloudy.

Great property to explore Downtown. Excellent view close to PNC Park. Great pool & hot tub with an amazing view. Courteous staff… speedy elavators!

The parking isnt the best. There is a pay lot right across the street but it says no hotel parking. Guess where they park the valet cars? Yep, right across the street. $44 is kinda steep. Could of walked 4 blocks but I didn't feel like messing with it at that point.

Hotel was nice, great location, our only issue was the parking. They advertised valet parking, when we arrived we were told there were no more valet spots and instructed to park in a deck a block away.

The pool was small for the size of the hotal

We stayed at this property solely for it having the pool and the pool was closed at the time of our stay and it wasn’t even mentioned in the reservation and staff wasn’t aware at first that it was closed due to cleaning and it wasn’t even being clean just closed

Great location, VERY old and ran down. It looks very nice downstairs but the rooms are awful. I felt like I was in a cheap hotel. The wallpaper is all falling off. Mold in shower, rusted lamps, chair is so old and falling apart. I am never one to complain about hotels but I was mind blown with how junky the room was especially compared to pricing and it being a Wyndham.

If I could give this property (0) no stars I would. The rooms smelled like mildew/sewage. One of my colleagues found a cockroach in their room. A mouse was siting in the dining hall. I call the front desk for support 6x for additional towels and support and got no answer.

The room was not clean and smelled of mildew. The towels were stained, mold on the sink fixtures and cobwebs on the curtains. We asked to move and the next room was no better. The wallpaper is peeling and there was a flood or something, as the drywall was crumbling by the elevators.

I received a message on the way to the hotel that because of a marathon the roads around the hotel were going to be closed on Sunday. Checkout time was changed to 3pm. So we had to leave afternoon of Saturday. The rooms were moldy smelly. Had to ask for toilet paper. Breakfast was good. The rooms were not good, moldy and it affected us with the breathing and allergies.

Make the bed sheets cleaner. Ours had stains on them.

Property was outdated, dusty, and NOT CLEAN. For the price totally unacceptable. Don’t stay here.. highly disappointed.

Staff members were rude, I was told I would get a late check out and the staff member not checking us in commented rudely. The bed had blood stains and the bathroom was not clean. We slept from 1-11 and left immediately.

Entire hallway and room reeked of dampness/mold. We left and went to a different hotel.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent stay left a lot to be desired. The room had a strong mildew smell that never went away. I went out of my way to buy disinfected and Febreeze fabric spray for my room to make me enjoy my stay, the toilet was stained, the bathroom ceiling had water bubbles and paint peeling and the wallpaper was peeling in several places in the room. It didn’t feel clean or comfortable. I purchased throw away pillowcases and sheets for my bed because I felt uncomfortable. The condition of the hotel overall was disappointing. Carpets in the hallways were lifting and looked worn out, and hall entrance to the gym had a terrible odor that made it uninviting. Clearly, the property is long overdue for a full renovation. That said, the one bright spot was the staff—they were absolutely amazing. Every person I interacted with was kind, helpful, and professional. It’s unfortunate that their excellent service isn’t matched by the condition of the hotel itself. With some serious investment in updates and maintenance, this could be a much better place to stay. Until then, I can’t recommend

Room was disgusting. There was candy in the floor, stuck to the bed, and under the pillows when we arrived. Toilet was clogged. Hallways smelled horrible. I won’t be back.

Had a great stay. Loved the small restaurant in hotel. Love the location. The rooms should be renovated. Would be more likey to stay there more often if rooms were renovated. Long overdue. Overrall great stay. Thanks!

Room was ok, bathroom doors are on rollers making it loud to open and close. Door handle to that door was broken. Fridge’s shelves were a bit sticky, but floor and tables were clean. Strange stain on the sheet that looked like dried blood, but unsure. Maid service every 3 days rather than daily.

The room looked nice. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and needed updating. There were two flies in the room. The view was great.

Hotel was in perfect walking distance to food options and the convention center. Room was nice too with a geeat view, only thing i wish they had were more modern/smart tv's.

The price you pay for room it was nothing special. Beds were so uncomfortable like sleeping on springs. Rooms were small.

Very outdated for such a huge hotel in a major city. The TV in our room had no capabilities for us to cast anything and they don't even have basic cable?

Stayed for a football game. 15th floor. Half a mile walk. Beautiful views from the room and on the walk to the stadium. Rooms were nice. Could use the usb plug ins is the only thing missing in the lamps next to the bed.

Location is amazing! Can not beat waking up and being able to walk to everything we had planned. The hotel needs some small TLC - curtains broken, soffits near elevators falling down, etc. Plus side- beds super comfy, room clean, bathroom clean, water pressure excellent! I would stay here every time and pay the extra for the river view! So awesome

Good overnight stay. Excellent view of the point from the 21st floor! Comfortable king bed. Room is certainly outdated for the price. Refrigerator was sitting on the floor and not on any stand. I was somewhat surprised about that and felt that it was not a very sanitary thing. It was extremely difficult to access the refrigerator because it was on the floor! Who does that?

Bad experience on many levels. Room booked and paid for was a suite, but we were downgraded to a standard room. We were told that our room was not guaranteed because we booked though a 3rd party (Hotels.com). No discount or refund was offered or received.

The staff were all great. At check-in I enjoyed friendly staff and a delicious cookie. What a treat after a long day of flying! The barista at the coffee “shop” was very friendly. The staff who handled the meals for our conference were all great and very attentive to our needs when the conference room grew warm.

I love this place. Everybody so friendly. Especially the ladies checking in. I believe her name was Candace. Remember her from last year too since I come every year for the last eight.

We stayed here for the bananas game. A weekend jazz fest was going on that closed main roads to the hotel. We drove around the city for an hour trying to access the hotel. We called the hotel twice and staff was incredibly unhelpful in redirecting us. The second time I called, I was on the verge of tears and the front desk was incredibly rude and told me I was wrong about the streets being closed even though I had been staring at closed road signs. Eventually a kind man on the street gave us directions that took us away from the city to access Commonwealth.

Check in was at 4pm and at 4:07 they told us that there was no parking and that we’d just have to find our own parking. The staff member was rude and offered ZERO assistance or information other than saying that us having no place to park was not his problem. Meanwhile traffic was gridlocked all around town and parking garages were FULL. My husband had to sit in bumper to bumper traffic for 2.5 hours looking for a place to park, miles away from the actual hotel. I would never stay at this place again.

One of the front desk staff members was very rude and dismissive when I called about somebody screaming in the hallway at 6 a.m. The rest of the staff was nice. The hotel guests were pretty noisy most of the time.

Upon arrival there was a line almost out the door for check in and only two people helping check in. Going to the elevator there were maybe 5-6 and only 2 seemed to be working and one of them was malfunctioning and kept staying open and they had to call maintenance to fix it. Every time there was a terribly long line for the elevator. When entering the room there was an old musty smell along with dust and small detail areas unclean. The airflow in the room was almost nonexistent as we like to keep a cool room and the room itself was very small and cramped for a 300 sq ft room. The coffee maker was unusable as it was dusty and dirty. The bed felt like sleeping on a trampoline and when you lay in the middle of it the sides came up. The valet situation is nice but when my car was returned to me there were marks on the side of my car like they may have side swiped it that definitely weren’t there before giving it to valet. The area is convenient and walkable and overall not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. My stay at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First, the front desk staff—especially Daniela—was extremely rude and unhelpful during check-in. I wasn’t told that you have to specifically request housekeeping if you want your room cleaned, so my room wasn’t cleaned for two full days. When I asked about it, I was met with attitude and excuses. I tried to speak to the manager, Cody England, who was just as rude. He raised his voice, made excuses, and walked away mid-conversation instead of helping. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The room itself smelled like mold and the property is run down. Housekeeping was unresponsive and didn’t even know our room was supposed to be serviced. The entire staff seemed disinterested in guests and customer service was non-existent. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. I will never return to this hotel and strongly advise others to avoid it!!!!

The stay was great, the check in check out staff was excellent. Our favorite place to stay in Pittsburgh.

This hotel is conveniently located at the point of the three rivers.

We stay here all the time when we drive in for the Steelers games.. always friendly and convenient to nearby bars/ restaurants.

I booked this hotel for labor day weekend. When we tried to get to the hotel, the entire road on the side where the hotel is was filled with gridlock traffic. We ended up having to attempt to turn around which was not possible and had to end up where we were before. We had to park across the street where it wasn't even a parking spot just to go in to the hotel to ask about parking. All they have is valet that is expensive every time. Nothing else. Also, the woman at the front desk claimed that my reservation did not exist no matter what name we gave. So, we had to last minute hunt for a new hotel which the one we found cost more than this one. Then when we are checking out to leave, I find out this hotel charged me half the total of the room for being a no show when it was their fault by claiming to have no record of my reservation and no way to even get to the hotel with a car. We tried to get them to refund it and they refused. The supervisor told me to go to expedia since that is how I booked it and then he told expedia they refuse. So now I have lost a lot of money to absolutely nothing and had to pay more for a last minute replacement. If you want to deal with having an unnecessarily difficult time getting in to this hotel and pay a valet every time you need to park and get crappy service then stay here! If you don't, stay somewhere else!

It was a wonderful location. We had a beautiful Riverside view from the room. Walking distance to nice restaurants, the Fort Pitt Museum, and other attractions.

The room was super clean and spacious. However, you could hear the nieghbors and any outside noise for the hallway. We didn't get breakfrast but we did enjoy a drink at the bar. It was so nice and the bartender was this sweet lady who carried a nice convo. Staff always so welcoming and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast Sunday morning was very good and our waitress was wonderful...I wish I could remember her name to give her credit. The only negative for us was that there was not a USB port for us to charge our phones in our room.

There were mice in the dining area. I asked for towel sets 4 times before they were delivered. The location is awesome.

queen sized beds seemed a lot smaller than a true queen size. excellent valet parking attendants. hotel restaurant hours did not meet my family's expectations.

Very convenient location, great property, restaurant and bar within hotel. Valet parking available. Only complaint was the thermostat wouldn’t go below 70, it was hot!, and there was a mirror by the window that reflected the morning light in. Otherwise it was a great hotel, will stay again!

The property was a convenient distance from PNC Park. The lobby was large and lovely. The onsite restaurant served a delicious breakfast. There was a problem with the type of room we reserved. We were provided a different room that was clean and well appointed. And for the inconvenience, the hotel compensated us with free valet parking and breakfast, which was very much appreciated!

I was in their restaurant at the lobby and there was a mouse running around that says a lot
