Great property and great staff. Pool was great and the gym was good but it did have some broken machines. Easy parking and even a garage with electric charging! Will definitely recommend and look forward to coming back in the near future.

This is our go-to hotel when we visit family in Pittsburgh. It's close to their house and affordable. My kids love the breakfast because there is a pancake conveyor machine. The beds are comfy. The pool is functional but could use some updating. Parking is easy.

The front desk night crew were rude and unpleasant. The facility was very old and the mattresses were very poor quality. The stay left the hallways and elevator with food all over from guest. The only bright side was the weight room that was spacious with decent older equipment.

Easy to get to. They offer a lot of amenities. I have them 4 stars because the breakfast was just ok. But it was included so that was a plus. I would stay there again. Loved that they had a garage with Sam EV charger for my hybrid car.

The facilities are nice and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent, but some things were constantly out. The surrounding of the hotel look like a war zone, but the inside was fairly nice. Gym was well equipped and hours for facilitues were nice, always good to see a breakfast available early.

The good: it was clean and the staff were great. Exceptional even. Could not have been better or more responsive. The bad: this place is run down. Vending and ice machines not working. Desk chair uncomfortable and worn out. Weirdly laid out room with some how tons of empty space but nowhere to sit and no luggage rack. AC was either full blast super cold or actually blowing hot air. Refrigerator was not working well enough to keep things adequately cold. Insufficient light / windows meant it was always dim in the room.

We stayed in a suite for 3 nights. Never once did housekeeping change towels or empty trash. I asked housekeeping (in the hall) for clean, dry towels and later went down to pool and got additional towels. We used the pull out sofa and no top sheet. I noticed black mold at base of shower stall. There were obvious dried food stains on chairs. Housekeeping did not speak English so questions are extremely limited. I have stayed there many times but haven’t had any cleanliness issues. The desk staff was helpful and the breakfast staff were very nice. The hotel is older and is updated. Just wish the place was cleaner.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels but this is the first one I would not recommend. When we got there many people were sitting outside the front door smoking and you had to walk through a haze of smoke before entering. Then in the vestibule and the lobby there were dozens of dead lanternflies, dirt, and small puddles from spilled drinks. Nobody can clean these up? The woman at the front desk stared at her phone for almost a minute until we asked if she could help us. When we got up to our room there was another bug crawling around, and the toilet wasn't working (the chain was off and I fixed it myself). One other small problem: The bathroom was very dark even with the lights on and there was no fan.

The bathroom has all types of hair in the shower and in the bathroom floor. They need to thoroughly clean those bathrooms from the toilets around the base and under the sink. That's exactly why I bring my own cleaning products. Do better with cleaning those rooms!

I could not wait to check out of this hotel! The carpet in the room and hallway were so thick and dark from dirt; it seemed the floor hadn't been vacuumed. The elevator was so small and creaking. The only positive of this hotel- very friendly staff, both front desk and dining.

You're not downtown, so there's pros and cons to that. Don't navigate by address - there are 11 buildings using 875 Greentree. Room is HUGE. Beds are quite firm, pillows are not. Beds in our room (719) are also right in line with the AC, so it's blowing right into you all night. Not ideal. TV is too small for the room in it's current configuration. Lots of hot water, fridge is extra cool. You hear EVERYTHING. Breakfast was average but plentiful. Coffee is always available. Don't believe attached restaurant is part of the hotel.

Overall the hotel was okay. Fairly dated. The toilet was hard to flush, and the wood was peeling off the bathroom vanity. The room did not have any overhead lighting only lamps, which made it seem very dark. It was not super convient to get to, and the area the hotel was in seemed kind of ran down. However, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

Overall great stay with free breakfast and a clean well kept room. Hotel staff replaced out towels daily for our 5 night stay and made the bed as well. Only complaint is the AC wouldn’t stay on throughout the night.

The stay would’ve been perfect but our door to the room was very difficult to open. Not sure if the sensor was messed up. But it would read our card and then give a green light to gain entry but it didn’t work. It took numerous attempts until it finally opened. Also the shower was difficult to get to the right temp. The pressure to get warm water was low but if you wanted to boil that had a full blast of pressure which mad no sense. Other than those two issues which could’ve been specific to my room. Everything else was great.

When I showed up to check in for my pre paid hotel room, the front desk attendant immediately started shaking her head no saying we’re sold out. I explain I prepaid for the room and she just kept reappearing they were sold out and had oversold the hotel. I was alone, in a strange city, and that was terrifying. They ended finding a room for me after a while, but that situation should have been handled with more tact and kindness.

My only complaint is with the dining room for breakfast. While the breakfast was quite good, there was only one functioning coffee machine. The other one was broken (it would have been helpful to have an "out of service" sign on it.)nAlso, there was a large pot of cold oatmeal submerged in water. The cooker was broken. Lastly, there were flies buzzing about.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and well serviced with plenty of towels. Water pressure in sink was poor. Breakfast was one step above continental with limited hot food choices but they did constantly replenish. Would definitely recommend for short term stay as location is very convenient & hotel is very clean.

The lady at the breakfast place was horrible. We went to breakfast at 8:45 and half of the food trays were empty. I literally saw her taking stuff from the bar and keeping it in the room, though there are multiple people still coming to eat breakfast. By 9:15, she started packing everything and they closed everything before 9:30. Extremely terrible hospitality.

You couldn't open the pull out bed and walk through to use the bathroom. There was no room to walk. Ran out of food for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Ridiculous!!! No coffee, green bananas, no yogurt, nothing!!!!
