No the parking didn’t feel safe. The entire building look run down. The rooms seem as if it was a halfway house. Comforter with large holes. Bathroom walls scaled of loose paint and just painted over. Morris screwed in place. Bathroom door chipped along the bottom edges. Desk chair worn that the inner foam is exposed. Pool dripping rust water off metal beams. Skylight patched with duct tape. No room service throughout our 3 day stay. Room HVAC system runs on one speed only. It’s clear that low income folks are forced to stay in a place like this. They deserve better respect.

Room fixtures, especially in the bathroom, were old and rusty. The bathtub did not drain and the hot water went cold. Staff was really the only highlight.

Staff here was wonderful- my daughter and I needed a place since a family member had medical emergency and with Pitt grad and marathon this was closest to West Penn that we could afford. It’s outdated but I like how we were treated.
