Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh North Shore by IHG

No extra linen in room for the sofa bed. Phone in room didn't work. Water in pool was a bit murky. No free parking. Staff are nice, hotel is clean., breakfast was great. It wasn't bad. I believe they were short staffed. Like most places these days.

Everything was great and it was very affordable. HOWEVER, there is a very bright light constantly blinking from one of the alarm systems right over the bed. It lights up the whole room whenever it’s dark and you’re trying to sleep.

Bathroom bench in shower was broke hanging by a thread, called for towels told they did not have anymore for the night, over all was not very clean

This is a great stay, especially if you are looking to catch a baseball game. Convenient access to the highway, though there are no restaurants or places to shop in the vicinity. Breakfast is a standard fare of what one ought to expect from an American continental breakfast hotel offering; eggs, biscuits, muffins, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Get there early in the evening as the seats fill up quick. Overall, the location itself leaves something to be desired, but it is close enough to everything. I would stay again. Only major qualm is the hotel seems very understaffed. There was often only one check in person, and the line went out to the entrance on a few occasions over the three nights I was there for.

Nice Hotel, loved the area around the hotel, if your a sports fan, great spot to be for the stadiums and nice eateries.
