Poor security. I parked my car close to the front door at 5:05pm and it was stolen by 5:07pm. We barely had time to get in the front door of the hotel.

The staff were great and the room was nice. The elevators were broken and the only one that worked was the service elevator. We took the stairs for the majority of the stay. I would return for the customer service and the convenient location.

This property was ok. You could tell our room had water damage that was painted over. You could smell it too. The elevator was not operating most of the time while we were there. When it was working, it was very slow. We almost missed our Uber ride because of the delays. Also, I’m not sure what tiles were used in the pool area but they were more slippery than anything I’ve experienced. There was zero traction. People were slipping left and right. Almost as if it were oily. The employees were very friendly and the complementary cookies were a nice touch.

We only stayed for one night but the location was perfect for our visit. One of the main elevators wasn't working, so that gave some delay with people getting to their floors. The room was very nice and comfortable.

The staff were terrific, but Taylon and Veronica stood out, going above and beyond! The room was clean and nice enough, but needed TLC. Carpet was frayed where it met the tile, tile had several chips, window leaked rain, thermostat would not work sporadically, the shower was dark. Gym was, ummmm, very small and subpar. Room was quiet and comfortable. I wouldnt stay again and do not feel the price was appropriate overall.

The overall quality of the hotel was good. However, the parking situation is terrible. Obviously, safety is a serious issue. On one of the nights a car was broken into near ours. There is broken glass everywhere in the parking lot so clearly this is a common occurrence. I had read reviews of this being an issue but saw firsthand that it’s true. This hotel needs to take steps to better secure the parking area. Thankfully, our vehicle was not vandalized. However, I don’t feel safe at this hotel given the parking lot situation and won’t return.

Room service didnt provide extra washcloth after cleaning my room. The pool glass roof was leaking water. The restuarant inside the hotel menu was extremly expensive. Breakfast high was. The noise level was amazin. Overall a 3.5

The front desk staff were very nice. The king-bed parlor room wasn't very clean; there was an ice cream container in the refrigerator/freezer from the previous guest which grossed me out. The sofa bed mattress was filthy on the underside. The bathroom wasn't stocked with towels or kleenex.

Staff were friendly, property had ample parking and was conveniently located. There were some consistency issues with customer service at the desk as far as making commitments for things like late check out and room cleaning, and the carpet in the room looked clean but our white socks turned brown on the soles after only a few minutes in the room so we wore slippers for our stay.

The room was decent sized. Cleanliness was definitely lacking, we found a used towel in the dresser drawer that was covered in something pink colored. The room had a dingy smell and there was paint all over the headboard from a recent renovation. The staff at the check-in counter were rude and impersonal. We had dinner in the bar/restaurant, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our waitress to come and take our food order. The bar tender was very friendly and his service was wonderful.

Had to change rooms because of leak/water in bathroom. Room smelled horrible. Rooms that haven’t been booked in a while should be inspected before assigning to guest. Otherwise, our stay was nice. This is our go to hotel when we visit Memphis. Hotel rooms are beginning to look a bit dated though. Could use upgrade.

Everything was great for our stay other than we had issues with the wi-fi. I was never able to log on to it which is unusual because I normally stay at Hilton properties and never have issues. It was a quick trip, so it was not really needed but it was just a nuisance not to be able to use the wi-fi.

To start it’s Memphis and the amount of police presence is crazy but it’s Memphis. There wasn’t much around to eat as we were flying out first thing and needed to eat early so we could go to bed early. Many of the restaurants didn’t open until early evening but not the hotels fault at all. The bed and bedding was so nice and we slept so well; however, the toilet seat was so loose that I was afraid I was going to fall off of it and the shower, while showering, filled up with at least of inch of water and that was a little gross. Other than those two things it was fine. We’d stay again knowing we know and making sure toilet and shower are properly working.

Hotel did not answer phone when we called from airport for the courtesy shuttle multiple times. Had to call Hilton corporate for assistance. Later we were told by another employee the desk manager was just ignoring calls.

There was only one person working the check-in desk on a sold out evening. Check-in started at 4, but rooms were not available. We stood in line over an hour waiting to check in and finally were able to get our room at 6pm.

The room was fine but the service was awful. The lady who checked me in was the least friendly person I have encountered in the hospitality industry. There was no dnd sign so the cleaning crew woke me up early each day I was there. When I called the front desk to request a later checkout the lady who answered was pretty rude. I think the hotel is fine but the employees are rude and act like they hate their jobs.

When we arrived it was the same day as the IT glitch so checking in was delayed. Had two rooms booked. Received our keys and that's when the reality that this is not your "normal" Doubletree. Air conditioner rattled in one room and the other room had a stench and dirty carpet that flared up my daughter's allergies. Around 3 a.m. my daughters were awakened by men trying to enter the room on 3 attempts. Thank God they had the door stop in place, otherwise the men would have walked right in on my sleeping daughters. They repeatedly tried calling the front desk,but no answer. The men stated they were given the room key. At checkout, the lady whose job was catering, decided to join the conversation after we had made it known that No apology would right the wrong done.The other lady's badge said customer service and she kept quiet and preceeded to refund me for one room without empty excuses. Other people stated their cars were broken into the night before. Please stay away, until corporate steps in to better the conditions at that Doubletree.

This visit let me down. For staters the toilet didn’t flush. That was a big inconvenience for us. Also, we had no clean towns. Called to asked to bring me some, they told me it would be an hr. They never came. All them folks just standing around at the front desk & you mean to tell me NO ONE could bring towels. Rather crazy. Only staff that was friendly was the lady that attended to us at breakfast.

Nice hotel, close to a ton of restaurants, whole foods, and shopping. Very safe parking lot which is patrolled by security and Memphis police 24/7. I'd stay here again.

I absolutely Love staying at this hotel while traveling to Memphis. The location is Excellent to the interstate, nearby restaurants and the room is very Nice! I enjoyed my weekend getaway visit to Memphis and staying at the Doubletree by Hilton at Sanderlin. Thumbs Up! I'll be Back!

This is a very old and tired property. There was a permanent smell of strong cleaning products which weren't doing a great job of hiding what has obviously been years of smoking. On the first morning we had breakfast - very overpriced and unbelievably poor value. Very limited options and the staff could not communicate in English. Trying to get a cup of tea was actually too hard so we gave up!

It was absolutely amazing. The staff was way more than you could ask for . Raven Tierra the bartender , the two front desk check in ladies oh my god!!! Kiss for names atm . Everyone was so so friendly and so polite. Was happy to see major amounts of families with kids and teens . The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The bloody Mary’s and top shelf margaritas were flawless! We can absolutely say that the breakfast buffet was the best I’ve had and had all you could need for a hearty breakfast! The staff for breakfast was the most friendly and welcoming. Can tell they love their jobs and have been with company many many years. Southern hospitality is where it’s at! I can’t wait to come back and stay! The hot water and water pressure is more than needed for sure ! Best hit shower ever!! The warm cookies yum
