Overall it was a good stay. Lots of electrical issues causing elevators to be down for a couple of days. Poor lighting in the stairwell. Had to use phone flashlight. Problems with internet due to electrical problems. I'm sure this was out of their control and the staff was nice, but I was never notified or updated about the issue/inconvenience. It was just never acknowledged, not even at checkout. Not a bad hotel, just weird circumstances.

The elevator was a total nightmare. We quit using it because we were afraid any second it would go out and we would be stuck inside. You had to hold the buttons the entire time and it stopped on every floor whether or not anyone needed it. Our first room didn't get cool. None of the AC units blow very hard, so you have to keep the air on constantly to keep it cool. The outlets didn't work. However, Olivia at the desk was super helpful! She made sure we got a room that had everything working and had maintenance check to make sure it was good and cool. She was so kind and apologetic.

While my car was parked overnight in the hotel parking lot, it was one of 13 cars that criminals were able to smash windows and break into. I will never stay here again and will warn others not to do so.

Third floor room with a broken elevator. I am 78 years old aand have COPD walking up and down 3 flights of stairs. the person named Val carried my heaviest load down for me, but I had already carried two down and was exhausted. I stayed there years ago and was very pleased but the facility needs remodeled.

There was a terrible smell in the hotel. It smelled like mold and mildew. The first room they gave me the smell was extremely strong. The next room they gave me after I complained smelled better but not by much. If it was not for the fact that my car broke down so I was forced to stay on this hotel with all of my belongings I never would have stayed the three days until my car was fixed. The hotel was so grimy I refused to even attempt to eat the free breakfast.

Outside and surrounding area was inviting. The staff was not welcoming, the inside common area showing signs of wear. We reserved two rooms, one of the rooms had an unmade bed, the air smelled of must/mildew. Breakfast was good and satisfactory. Per the condition of our rooms I’d suggest the hotel needs some upgrades. 😞

The fridge and food storage area needs cleaned better Other then that is was clean There was ants in my room my 6 month old baby woke up I put her in her seat and 3 baby ants was crawling on her leg There was other ants big and little thru out the room I cleaned everything trying to find the source the source of the ants are not in room 319 so they must be a nest somewhere around the 3 or 2 second floor I’m guessing The staff was very nice and friendly you have a good team of people working we appreciated all the love we was visiting from Ohio and Cali

Our room was damp and smelled terrible--sort of like the carpet had gotten wet at some point and then had gotten moldy. After two days we were moved to another room, and it was not much better. My wife and I don't plan on ever staying here again.

Small room with king bed stuffed into it! Dirty carpet, walked on it barefoot and my feet and toes begin itchin horrubly and I had to spray my feet with Lysol! NoIsy with trains going by! COST WAS WAY TO EXPENSUVE FOR A VERY SUB PAR ROOM....Hallways were hot and humid..

Not what we are used to for a Hampton Inn. Don’t mind paying more but was very disappointed with this one. We were told that it is the oldest one and the rooms are small. Could barely walk around the end of the beds. Ended up switching rooms. First room had rust all over the lamp.

This hotel looks good from the outside, but is worn out inside. It doesn't appear to have been renovated for many, many years. The walls are thin and our room was loud. The AC doesn't work without the fan being on all the time. For the money, there must be something better nearby.

It eas clean, but way smaller than any room we have ever had, we expected more, and have alway got a decent sized room from Hampton! Very suprised to have no closet at all, along with no drawers at all for clothes! Also no vent fan in the bathroom!! Staff were nice, but had to ask for towels... breakfast was ok, waffle maker was broken the entire 4 day stay! Good security though!!

The room does get a lil stuffy when you leave, so make sure the AC is on high so that it circulates the air. But the rest room was clean, bed was perfect, couch was pretty comfortable. A nice layout overall. The water pressure and temp was immaculate.

The property was safe, which in Memphis is saying a lot. While the staff was very friendly, they seemed completely understaffed. There was no house keeping service provided and when asked for clean towels (multiple times) I had to follow up. It seems like they were washing them on demand. The check in process was slow as they only had 1 working computer.

It was convenient for me as it was close to the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (where my family is buried) many places to eat close by, easy to get downtown and out east from this area. Close to I-240 but not close enough to hear the traffic. I'll stay here again.

Hampton inn is our favorite hotel when we travel. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. The hallways were unbearably hot and humid. The breakfast buffet had no orange juice, no paper plates 2 mornings and I expected better. The staff was kind. It is a shame this place couldn’t be cleaner and have the a/c system repaired.

The staff was exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. The toilet was leaking and did not get fixed. I did make staff aware. The rooms were outdated and did not have the amenities of other Hampton Inns that we have stayed in. The coffee and breakfast items were fresh and hot!
