the Hotel was good, but the fact that you have to use a Valet service at the front door when the parking lot is just 10 feet away is an unnecessary cost. Doesn't make any sense.

The room quality, cleanliness, comfort, etc. was excellent. The only negative is the valet parking only. Good service but why pay for parking that’s available within the hotel property. I understand when the only parking is in a garage nearby.

Unfortunately, the first impression was bad, i went to check in and the employee had a bad attitude then he proceed to charge me 30 usd for using the hotel parking lot even when i was being picked up from a friend. The bathroom wasn't clean at all, there were hair.

The room did not look clean at all. Shower was dirty and there was still hair inside shower walls and other hairs in the shower…. Furniture was not wiped, mirror was not cleaned properly and floor didn’t look cleaned either. Lobby is beautiful and staff is very nice. I was just very disappointed with the visible dirty room.

Unfortunately as I guest I had to buy items to clean the restroom. It’s very uncomfortable to pay $700 for 3days and for the restroom not to be clean the first day you arrive to the room. Will not be going back.

Room was dirty and smelled of smoke. I was offered some spray which as we all know is not a fix. Bathroom was disgusting. Hair (not mine) all in shower and vanity. Tray to hold toiletries was filthy. I went so far as to put a towel in shower base as it was slimy. Mirror and shower doors had dirt, fingerprints and spittle it was not good.

AC wasn’t great. We could hear people walking on the floor above us very loudly at night while trying to sleep. Could also hear everything going on outside clearly. Hotel is nice, super close to river walk & valet is convenient. Just super thin walls.

Deception in the name. In order to get to the river walk you have to walk through a major highway. In addition, you can also hear the major highway in the middle of the night. People leaving the night establishments were blaring music and you could hear it all night long.

I just needed a quick spot to lay down for a few hours then be on my way. First time here, The Aiden was a perfect location for my travels and close enough to the riverwalk that I could walk if I wanted to venture out and explore. I was pleasantly surprised with the decor in the lobby, very artistic, modern and clean. Staff was friendly and the checkbin process was very fast. My room 105, had adequate space with 2 queen beds and a lounger with foot stool. Pillows and bed were cozy. I drifted off quickly. I loved it. Next time I will plan for a longer stay.

We were facing Commerce St (2nd floor) and it was in my personal opinion very loud. You can hear the people walking, talking, laughing. Normally it doesnt bother me but at 2 .. 3 in the morning is not nice.

The hotel was modern and the rooms were nicely decorated. It was conveniently located to the Alamo Dome, St Paul's square, bars and restaurants within walking distance. However our room faced the street and the traffic noise was awful until past 2 am. If you stay here, bring ear plugs!

The room was very spacious and clean. The property was unique with very friendly staff. Robert check us in and was very personable and helpful. We had zero issues. Water pressure was amazing in the shower, and everything was clean. We live locally and did a staycation. I absolutely plan to return for the next staycation Oh the parking is valet but they are 24 hours and fast. All attendants were friendly and fast. Car was always ready almost immediately.

The hotel staff was amazing. Very friendly. Very helpful. I requested extra bedding one time. It was up to me in less than 10 minutes did the same for some clean towels. Again up to me very fast. Very polite. Very knowledgeable about their area. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

Check in was slow, but it seemed as if a customer was checked out but never left. We were given their room and walked into an occupied room. They apologized and gave us another room with a leaky sink. We got free breakfast for our troubles. Other than that, the staff and atmosphere was awesome! Loved the feel

I travel a l Iot and am big on customer service. Upon arrival I was trying to work out an issue with the reservations, the gentleman at the front desk, RJ, was more concerned about stocking the snacks. He literally asked me if I could sign the screen because he had snacks to stock. There was no one behind me, but instead of helping me he was short and nice-nasty with his answers. Even when I came back to discuss the issue he was rude both times. Although the issue was resolved he didn't represent the hotel favorably. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable but there was hair on the shower walls in one of the rooms. We had a total of four rooms for our group. During our checkout the lady at the front desk and valet staff, especially Avian, were amazing, helpful, and exhibited excellent customer service worth bragging about. Wished they were there during our arrival.

It’s just a Best Western with a facelift nothing outstanding and pretty consistent with other BW properties. Disappointed after reading what I only suspect as comped or paid reviews. The shower floor was not clean and there was used toothpicks left on carpet. The staff in the lobby area (bar and bottom of the stairwell) were extremely rude and couldn’t be bothered to look away from their phones when being ask questions by customers. The valet was nice, quick, and took good care of my vehicle overnight. Front desk was pleasant and communicative. Overall not going to be a return guest for the value or the bad customer service.

The hotel was amazing. We were attending a concert at the Alamodome and this hotel was perfect for that. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the venue. The hotel had a live do and compliments drinks which definitely enhanced our concert experience. It was clean and had a great atmosphere in the lobby. The best part of our stay was the service. We felt welcome and attended to the moment we walked in. All staff was friendly and attentive.

To many hidden charges. $30.00 per night for parking. Then they charges an extra $90.00 on our card for incidental fees just in case they said. The Speak Easy was a Joke. No live music until late in evening, however they book you for a 90 minute maximum time way before the music starts. We left a day early because we were just so frustrated about all the excuses that we were given. Still have not received the reimbursement that was to be given back for all these bogus charges. There are nicer and closer hotels to the Riverwalk. Next time we would try one of those.

Beautiful and clean room, very comfortable bed, great shower. Loved the proximity to the Riverwalk! Use the hotel valet parking and walk to downtown. Otherwise you will fight traffic and pay for parking twice!

This hotel is very clean and is within walking distance to the River Walk, restaurants and other attractions. The hotel charges a parking fee and many hotels in DT San Antonio charges for parking. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. I did get waken up a couple times by the people living in the room above me; hence I took a star away from my rating.

This hotel wins for cleanliness and newness. This is the 2nd year we’ve come to San Antonio for a band contest and 2nd hotel for us to try. MUCH cleaner, newer, nicer than the first place we tried. Everything looked new and intentional. Plenty of multi use plugs, which we always love. Walking distance to the Alamodome and Riverwalk. Cons that aren’t actually cons, just things that weren’t for us: Valet or off lot parking only. The lobby is very much a social scene and we aren’t those people. The nose from the highway on-ramp sucks depending on where you are staying. We weren’t bothered by it to sleep but you can’t miss it either. The front desk staff left a lot to be desired on multiple occasions. When we first walked in, we were greeted with, “Can I help you?” as she continued her task. I know they have patrons and visitors but I appreciate being made to feel like we are valued right away. Pros: Housekeeping! Friendly ladies who always made our room fresh and clean every day. Valet guys are fast. You can text that you’re ready for your car and we rarely waited based on their time estimate.

Great value for the price! Easy 5 min walk to San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo, and tourist sites. Hotel Aiden was clean, quiet, safe, valet parking team was exceptional, and I enjoyed my free cucumber cocktail at their lobby bar. It exceeded my expectations, I recommend.

It was a very pleasant stay close to the riverwalk and the alamodome as well as the Tower of the America's. Beds were super comfortable they only had valet parking which is good and bad. Downside was the ice machine was on the first floor should've been one on the 2nd floor as well in my opinion for the price one pays. Their bar was limited on the kind of beer they had the bar served some food they also had a small cafe in the hotel. In all honesty the food was lousy. What I ate at the bar was some kind of macaroni and cheese which I ended up throwing up later that night. Overall a pleasure place to stay, just don't eat their food.

Usually when hotel chains try to capture the boutique vibe they miss the mark. Not so with BW and Aiden. Perfect in every way. Great bar. No restaurant, but there are options right around the corner (good options). This was the perfect hotel for my business conference downtown.

Great service from valet to the bartender. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and I loved the large rainshower heads. Location is convenient and only a few steps from downtown. I didnt see any recycle bins and would have liked to recycle while staying here. There's a speakeasy type bar downstairs, but is only currently open Thursday-Saturday.

The property is awesome. The only issue I had was the cafe didn’t have breakfast options and recommended Denny’s and the shower selector didn’t work well. Outside of those minor items I will certainly stay here again. Loved the hip new look and feel.
