Motel 6 San Antonio Medical Center South

I liked the location because it was a few minutes from my son’s house. The property itself is old and tattered but you get what you pay for.

Our stay was great anytime we talked to staff they were pleasantly nice!!! My only suggestion is maybe upgrade the tvs, with a smart tv would have been nice and the toilet kept running had to jiggle the button but overall really good place to stay, loved how it was inside! Oh and the vending area was perfect!!

Believe hotel is being remodeled. Room was clean but very bare. Just two chairs, and the counter with microwave and fridge. No chest, dresser, place to keep belongings off the floor. No table. Breakfast was mini oranges and packaged individual mini muffins. No frills. No extras. Clean bed. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Decent shower pressure.

The desk clerks are nice. It's just basic motel.

A small place that provided bare essentials for a medical conference at UT San Antonio (5-8min walk) + sightseeing trip. Reasonable for the price. Accessible, shower-only bathroom had a modern look and bright enough lighting for those who apply makeup. Shower warmed up slowly and could spill outside the shower curtain. Bed was clean but bedsheets were slightly damp. Air conditioner sounded like a major storm even at "mild" setting, so you might find it hard to sleep if traveling in the middle of extreme heat. Card key access failed once after a long day out but the front door staff fixed it quickly.

I expected a basic hotel experience. I experienced a motel level stay, The check-in process required an additional 50 deposit. The room was a converted basement. The bed was not comfortable due to mattress and pillows bein sub-par quality.. In the morning the elevator was not working. This is very cheap and unclean property. The paint is fresh and the restrooms in the room are decent minus the single ply toilet paper.

What i liked that they have a elevator that I don't have to drag up my suit case and among other objects a staircase, and the locations just across the Hospitals. The room nice and clean spacious. I will definitely come back ..

Just like that its very close by the hospital where my husband is at . Really love that it has a elevator that i don't have to carry bags up the stairs as i have health issues and thats a plus

This is a very well-managed, maintained, and clean Motel 6. It is in an area that serves the massive San Antonio medical centers nearby. Check-in went smoothly with no problems at all. The clerk (who was the GM) was very nice, welcoming, and quick to get me checked in. Our 4-night stay was peaceful, and all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The grounds look great with potted plants on top of green lawns around the perimeter of the building. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and good TV wall-mounted setup. Everything in the room worked, and it was clean. There was an excellent beverage machine in the common area. The common area was nicely furnished with desk space for a laptop, and other amenities - including well-stocked drink and snack machines that take credit cards. Within the scope of budget hotels, this is one of the best San Antonion options.

Horrible, horrible room. I wouldn't have paid $10 per night to stay there. Dirty sheets, dirty tub with 2 very long hairs in tub, light didn't work over sink in bathroom, had to wear my flipflops everywhere as the floor was sticky and dirty, 3 little pillows on king bed, had to ask for more. They had NO extra blankets. NO ice anywhere,all broke over whole motel. I can't believe I stayed. The only, only good thing was location by the Methodist Hospital. Yes it was a $70 room...but geez.

The 2 rooms were very dirty, the first room full of many cockroaches. They were everywhere, even climbing on the suitcases. The room smelled very ugly and everything looked very dirty and the air conditioning made a lot of noise. The second room smelled worse, it had water damage on the floor and was very dirty, the refrigerator made a lot of noise. . All night there was noise in the hallways and it smelled very bad of drugs. The worst experience we have had in a hotel, it ruined our trip in San Antonio. I will never stay at a motel 6 again. It doesn't look like the photos.

This is hands down our favorite place to stay in San Antonio! We always appreciate the smooth and easy check-in process. The hotel's cleanliness is outstanding, making for a truly comfortable experience. We're always impressed by the front desk staff's kindness, especially the gentleman who consistently goes out of his way to help with the doors. Our rooms have always featured comfy beds and perfectly functioning AC, ensuring a restful stay. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we're in the city!

Very quite and easy to get to in the Medical Center. Looks great on the outside. However once we got to the room, it had mold in the restroom, faucets were difficult to operate, floor was coming up and was bubbly, curtain was halfway falling off and it was extremely humid inside. By far one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in, we left asap to another hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly but whoever owns this needs to seriously work on remodeling.

The hotel rooms were very nasty and had cockroaches all about the floor in BOTH rooms. Cancelled stay immediately. The least you can do is paint the walls and fix the broken doors, not to mention a little pest control. Terrible experience. Do not stay!

Room was clean

The bathtub/shower was filthy, grimy, and had a lot of soap scum. Pretty disgusting. This was the reason we checked out a day early.

This place is very clean. Good customer service.

Some lights didn't work. Turn off by themselves. Things were broken. Some outlets didnt work.

The bathroom needs to be fix everything needs alot of maintenance. We could not use the outlets for our phones. Not staying here again.

The flooring had been wet and was buckled in a large area from the bed to the ac unit I have breathing problems and worried about mold

Great location, safe. Clean property and in fairly new condition. Don't count on the breakfast, not much to offer. We stayed on the basement floor and the room had alot of moisture, damp. Would definitely stay again but maybe ask for a differnt floor. Overall great choice for price.

Had trouble with the door lock to enter room...after multiple tries it would finally work. Mattress was a lil too thin and made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Woke up sore from that. Bathroom could have been better, shower/tub was very narrow to stand in

This is not the first time that I have stayed at this Park Inn. I must say my second stay was not as enjoyable as my first. This staff is not very friendly. I believe I saw somewhere advertised that breakfast was available. A package of mini muffins, fruit and coffee is not exactly what I had in mind. I was expecting a selection of cereal or eggs. No hot meal here. The place needs a total upgrade. It's pretty old and the elevators or kind of scary although I must say that that the beds and pillows are very comfortable. If you travel with a pet, you are relegated to the basement. Yes that's right, motel is pet friendly, but you're gonna have to stay on the bottom floor. The bottom floor is where housekeeping is located. It gets pretty noisy in the early morning.That makes no sense as there is only one entrance in or out of this place and it is on the first floor. There are emergency exits, but they are locked at all times. You can't beat the price .this place is a good place to stay If you're not expecting anything extra. The location is good with lots of places close by.

The room was good but the attendant was rude. I get as having worked in the service but damn a simple smile would have changed it all hell maybe a how’s your evening.

The front desk staff was amazing!

The receptionist was unfriendly and displayed a bad attitude. While the room itself was acceptable, we encountered several issues, including a broken toilet seat, a malfunctioning bathroom vent fan, and noticeably worn-out pillowcases that require urgent replacement. Despite being aware of these issues, there seems to be an "I do not care" attitude among the staff. I suppose it may suffice for a one-night stay, but overall, this place falls far short of deserving a rating of 7. It's more accurately a 2 or 3 out of 10.

I have visited this property numerous times and believe it to be a family-owned hotel. The staff is consistently friendly, and the lady is always eager to assist, allowing me to check in early and checking in on me daily to see if I need anything. Overall, my experience at this hotel has been quite enjoyable. I highly recommend it, especially the housekeeping, which is very friendly.

Rooms were clean and staff was cordial and helpful. Would recommend.

I had to wait for the attendant to arrive and process the registration. There was no breakfast offered, coffee was the only drink for an early-morning offer.

Very friendly and professional customer service, rooms were beyond expectation and very convenient to the methodist childrens hospital due that my son had surgery Definetly recomended

Great as to being close to the hospital, breakfast was meh 😒 chocolate chip muffins, mandarin oranges, or bananas. As for the Tv stations there wasn’t much of a selection and couldn’t find any local channels. The shower was good though it did have some calcium build up on the head if the shower but shower came full strength. The beds were full size beds not queen size but standard in most hotels but not quite comfortable, I could feel the springs coils in the mattress, pillow top mattress would have been better.

We were not allowed to bring our cat. The continental breakfast was just muffins, coffee, fake creamer and tangelos. No Gluten free muffins or other options. Desk chair was dangerously tipping f

The general setting was somwhat refurbished (sloppy). It was clean. The room was spacious. The Continental breakfast was very disappointing. A golf ball sized chocolate muffin, a tangerine and coffee. What a disappointment!
