Our previous room at a different hotel cancelled on us last minute. We quickly found and booked this hotel on a whim and we were quickly accommodated. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be staying here again.

I love going to San Antonio at least once a year and always try to find a room near the river walk. I came across Hampton because this is the hotel I usually stay at when in Orlando and it was a great stay! Receptionist and house keeping are very nice and welcoming. It’s in a great area to explore downtown too! Will definitely be back here in the future.

The room was super cold when we arrived, which was great with the 100 degree weather outside. I tried to do early check-in but a room wasn't available, which I understood. The front desk associate was not friendly at all though, she was the one that did my check-out and just dry. When I arrived for regular check-in time, like to check-in was sort of long so that took a while. Then when it was my turn, I found it why, the rooms weren't ready. They even tried to downgrade my room but my room became available before. I wasn't able to get into my room until about 4:40. I was attending a concert at the Alamodome and doors were opening at 5:00. Needless to say I didn't get there until 6:15, by the time I got ready and traveled. The room was very comfortable and clean so no complaints there. Housekeeping was extremely friendly. Oh and free breakfast!

You can tell this is an older property inside the rooms. Beds were really hard to be honest but the room was great! Breakfast was good but I only eat the oatmeal at hotels. The staff was amazing! I would stay here again.
